Skeletor and Bone Throne Snake Mountain 2026 MOTU Movie Popcorn Bucket

This Skeeltor Bone Throne popcorn bucket instantly grabbed my attention because it taps right into that crossover space between movie merch and something that actually looks great on a collector shelf. Based on coverage coming out of the event, including details reported by The Direct and Collider, what we’re looking at here is a premium Skeletor Bone Throne popcorn bucket, and it is anything but your standard theater collectible. Right away, I was struck by how much presence this piece has, with Skeletor seated on a throne wrapped in serpent details that pull straight from the visual language of Snake Mountain. The sculpted elements give it a layered look, with the throne structure, coiling snake motifs, and surrounding environment all working together to create something that feels far more like a display piece than a simple container. I really like how the design leans into a darker, more gothic tone, which lines up nicely with what we’re starting to see from the Masters of the Universe film. And even though this is being positioned as theater merchandise, I can already see this fitting in as a really fun diorama-style backdrop for anyone building out a MOTU Chronicles shelf, especially if the scale lines up the way it appears. It is one of those pieces that blurs the line between novelty item and collectible, and I’m genuinely curious to see how this one looks in hand once it starts making its way into theaters ahead of the June 5 release.

The Bone Throne Snake Mountain bucket is massive, with multiple serpent heads extending outward from a stepped stone base, their scales carrying a grayish-green tone with dark brown striping along the underbellies. Small red flame accessories are scattered across the steps, and a MOTU Chronicles He-Man figure standing nearby really sells the scale of this piece, which looks like it’s going to be an incredible way to both enjoy your popcorn and when you take it home, possibly be the centerpiece of your MOTU Chronicles collection.

Skeletor sits atop the Bone Throne, surrounded by skulls, bones, and what appears to be a skeletal framework rising behind him. The serpent bodies coil and wrap around the tiered stone base with a nice sense of organic flow, their overlapping scale texture looking really well defined from this angle. You can also see the hinge in the upper right where the popcorn goes!

From the rear, He-Man carries a sword slung across his back as he faces the long stone staircase leading up toward Skeletor on the Bone Throne. The translucent red flame accessories lining both sides of the steps have a nice warmth to them, and they look like they could potentially be light-up pieces, which would make this diorama absolutely killer on a display shelf.

I’m looking at the back of the Bone Throne and you can see how the sculpted snake body wraps around the base, feeding right into that throne where the skeletal bones and ribcage details stack up into the seat, while the platform itself opens up into a deep rectangular cavity that’s clearly designed to hold a big load of popcorn; the hinged panel drops down to reveal a surprisingly roomy interior, with thick gray walls and a wide opening that makes it easy to fill and grab from, and those small red flame details sitting along the top edge add a little extra pop around the rim while everything stays built into that solid, chunky base.
