It’s been a fun week for the GI Joe Classified Series! First, with the GI Joe Day digital render reveals and then seeing in-box images of the Cobra La Royal Guard and Ninja Force Zartan and then we got official images of the Cobra La Royal Guard and now this! I love when a reveal comes straight from the source, and today’s news hits on so many levels for longtime Joe fans because Snake Eyes Dawn Moreno, #197, is officially joining the G.I. Joe Classified Series lineup. Revealed in person by Larry Hama at Midtown Comics, this announcement immediately carries weight, especially considering Dawn’s deep roots in the modern G.I. Joe mythos. For those who have followed Hama’s long-running comic continuity, Dawn Moreno stepping into the Snake Eyes mantle was a major moment, and seeing that storyline influence continue into the Classified line tells me Hasbro is committed to honoring more than just the 1980s nostalgia, which as someone who grew up loving that era, I genuinely appreciate. She is up for preorder, February 12, 2026, at 1pm and is confirmed as a mainline release, which means collectors should not have to chase an exclusive or worry about limited distribution. I’m always excited when the Classified Series expands its roster with characters that reflect the broader G.I. Joe universe, and adding Dawn Moreno under the Snake Eyes designation feels like an important evolution for the line.

She comes with a neutral unmasked head sculpt with straight black hair pulled back. The alternate masked head features a red visor band and long sculpted hair that flows outward. The two silver-bladed katanas have black textured handles, and the firearms include a larger rifle with angular detailing and a smaller sidearm with a removable suppressor. The red harness piece is designed to hold the swords in an X formation across the back that has the Arashikage symbol on it, and the black and red suit detailing continues consistently from the torso down through the legs with armored knee pads and black boots.

Here she is geared up with the alternate masked head in place, featuring that Snake Eyes visor wrapped across the eyes and a long sweep of black hair flowing out from the back. The black sleeveless suit is broken up with red ribbed panels along the sides of the torso and thighs, a black utility belt at the waist, and a thigh holster strapped securely to her right leg.
