We are coming to you live from New York Comic Con 2025, and the Star Wars panel did not disappoint! The energy in the room was absolutely electric as Hasbro pulled back the curtain on new reveals spanning across The Vintage Collection, The Black Series, and even a tantalizing tease for the Retro Collection. The Vintage Collection lineup zeroed in on the Battle of Geonosis, bringing prequel fans an incredible wave that captures the chaos and excitement of Episode II. Meanwhile, The Black Series turned heads with some truly exciting figure updates new characters, sharp sculpting details, and even all-new toe articulation tooling in one of the figures. They even gave us a sneak peek that hinted at what’s next for the Retro Collection. Vintage Collection

The Star Wars panel brought some serious prequel heat to the Vintage Collection with two highly anticipated additions from the Battle of Geonosis! Both figures showcase Hasbro’s renewed dedication to capturing the look, feel, and screen accuracy of the Episode II arena battle that kicked off the Clone Wars.

Padme Amidala

This release features Padmé in her signature white combat outfit, complete with the torn mid-riff detail seen during the arena confrontation with the Nexu. The sculpt beautifully balances elegance and intensity, with an all-new portrait using the latest photo-real face printing technology for an authentic likeness to Natalie Portman. She comes packed with her blaster and the card back art pulls has some tie-ins with Tatooine!

Shaak-Ti

The Jedi Council’s graceful Togruta warrior finally joins the Vintage Collection in her Attack of the Clones appearance. This figure showcases exquisite sculpting on her intricate head-tails and facial markings, along with flowing soft-goods robes that allow for dynamic posing. She wields her signature blue lightsaber and features improved elbow and knee articulation compared to earlier Jedi releases, making her one of the most poseable prequel-era Jedi to date. The card back art depicts Shaak Ti ignited in the heat of the Geonosis arena!

Retro Collection

A new figure is joining the Star Wars Retro Collection, and fans of the Original Trilogy are in for a real treat! Only one figure was teased so let’s check him out below!

Garindan

Revealed as part of the Star Wars Retro Collection Original Trilogy lineup, Garindan joins the 3.75-inch vintage-inspired figure series! Styled after his classic Kenner look, the figure features his distinctive snout mask, long black cloak, and communicator in hand. The yellow backdrop display showcased him among the “48 to collect” from the Original Trilogy, completing that nostalgic late-70s aesthetic that collectors love to see return.

Black Series

Revealed during the Star Wars panel, the new Boba Fett from the Book of Boba Fett figure joins The Black Series lineup featuring all-new toe articulation for improved posing and balance. The figure captures the armored bounty hunter’s look from his Disney+ series, complete with his detailed jetpack, blaster rifle, and removable helmet. Displayed in diorama scenes with Fennec Shand and Krrsantan, this release perfectly recreates Boba’s throne room moment. Collectors can look forward to adding this updated version to their shelves when it arrives in Spring 2026.

From the climactic showdown in Obi-Wan Kenobi, the new Darth Vader (Duel’s End) joins The Black Series in Spring 2026. This figure captures the intense aftermath of the battle, featuring a cracked helmet that reveals Anakin’s scarred face beneath, with incredible sculpt detail and paintwork that brings the emotion of the scene to life. The figure includes his red lightsaber, soft goods cape, and enhanced articulation for dynamic posing. The Kyle Katarn figure from Star Wars: Dark Forces made a huge splash during the panel as he joins The Black Series in Spring 2026. Faithfully capturing his look from the classic video game, the figure includes both his blaster and lightsaber, with sharp sculpt details and paint that give him a rugged, battle-tested appearance. But just as fans were wrapping their minds around this long-awaited reveal, Hasbro ended the presentation with a tease with a glowing display of blue, green, and red lightsabers hinting that more Jedi and Sith are on the way.
