Just 3 short months ago, the Super7 ThunderCats ThunderTank Toy Version & Panthro was revealed and went up for preorder, and now it is shipping out to fans. Well mine arrived from Amazon yesterday, so I wanted to share with you these in hand images taken from me personally! This new LJN inspired Toy Version of the Super7 ThunderTank is stunning and is the perfect modern homage to the vintage original. This new Thundertank also includes an all new pinless version of Panthro that harkens back to the vintage action figure. Packaging & Unboxing

The packaging has awesome illustrated highlights of the action features and included figure inside the box.


Once you open the box, you find this huge Styrofoam packaging. The new pinless Toy Variant Panthro is packaged on top. The Styrofoam includes the cool ThunderCats Logo on it! Once you lift have the Styrofoam up, you unveil your new Thundertank inside!


ThunderTank Toy Version Details
Let’s take a look at the details for this new ThunderTank toy version. As soon as you take this new LJN colors ThunderTank out of the box, a wave of nostalgia will wash over you! You can see that the colors are inspired by the vintage original including the red outlined ThunderCats logo on the rear cargo doors, red, blue and black accents on the tank. You can see when you have it open in action mode that the mouth of the cat is red just like the vintage LJN ThunderTank!

More views from front and back. Here you can see the black claws, red mouth and blue accents on the rear panels, just like the LJN vintage original!


More close up details of the ThunderTank. Here you can see the front and rear compartments. They have much more color interiors the first Thundertank. I love the red seats and red laser cannon, harkening back to the vintage LJN tank!


Some close ups of the rear compartment. You can see the ThunderCats logo on the interior is also the classic looking red outline.

Panthro-Toy Variant
