ThunderCats are on the move, ThunderCats are loose! We’ve been following this wave closely ever since we got our Super7 ThunderCats Deluxe Wave 5 early look, and now the wait is finally over because Wave 5 is in stock on Walmart and ready to ship right now! Super7’s Deluxe ThunderCats line continues to impress, and this wave is packed with heavy hitters. We’re talking a brand new pinless Panthro, the cunning Vultureman, and the fearsome Mumm-Ra the Ever Living. Three incredible figures all available at $34.97 each with free shipping through our affiliate partner Walmart. If you caught our earlier coverage when Panthro went up for early preorder on Entertainment Earth, you already know how super exciting this new pinless Panthro sculpt is, and now you can grab the whole wave in one shot. I always loved Panthro growing up, that nunchaku-swinging powerhouse of the team, and seeing him get the pinless treatment from Super7 is so much fun. Vultureman is such a great deep cut pick from the Mutants roster, and Mumm-Ra the Ever Living? I mean, come on, you can’t have a ThunderCats line without the ultimate villain in his most powerful form. How amazing is that lineup?! You can grab Panthro, Vultureman, and Mumm-Ra the Ever Living right now on Walmart before they’re gone. So let’s take a look at Super7 ThunderCats Deluxe Wave 5!
The new Deluxe Wave 5 figures looks great together, and Mumm-Ra the Ever Living absolutely dominates the frame with that towering golden helmet crest and his glowing red eyes set deep in that snarling cyan face. Vultureman’s bright orange beak and Panthro’s blue suspender straps each hold their own alongside him, and it’s cool to see how distinct the three color palettes are when you put them side by side.
Where to Buy
You can preorder the figures at the following retailers below
Panthro Deluxe
Panthro’s grey skin has a subtle tonal shift across his torso, with slightly darker shading around the sculpted bone spurs on his shoulders and chest that gives them real dimension. The nunchuck handles in red and blue are connected by a silver chain, and those clenched fists look perfectly sized to grip them. This new Panthro is based on the new pinless body that came with the Toy Version Thundertank!
Panthro’s packaging follows the same black card and splattered grey-white insert style, with his nunchucks tucked into the tray beside him in their signature red and blue color scheme. You can see how his blue suspender straps, spiked shoulder pads, and matching boots pop against that grey skin tone, even through the blister.
The ThunderCats emblem on Panthro’s belt buckle is a clean red and black contrast against the bright blue of his trunks and waistband. His nunchucks are packed in the tray in their respective red and blue colors, and I like that they included both so you can dual-wield right out of the box.
Panthro’s face sculpt really comes through here, with those heavy brow ridges, downturned mouth, and piercing amber eyes nailing his no-nonsense personality from the show. The spiked shoulder pads sit right at the edge of his blue suspender straps, each one tapering to a sharp point that adds a lot of visual aggression to his silhouette.
Mumm-Ra Deluxe
Mumm-Ra the Ever Living is an absolute beast of a figure, draped in a flowing red cape that cascades from his shoulders down past his knees, with white mummy wrappings sculpted to twist and overlap across his blue-grey torso. The serpent emblem on his chest pops in red and black, and that helmet with its golden crest and dark sweeping tendrils frames his snarling open mouth perfectly.
Mumm-Ra the Ever Living’s packaging gives you a great look at his blue and red loincloth with its gold-trimmed waistband, along with those clawed golden sandals that are such a faithful detail from the cartoon. The spattered grey and white insert behind the blister adds some texture to the presentation, and I noticed a swap hand packed in the lower corner of the tray.
Here’s a closer look at Mumm-Ra the Ever Living still in his tray, and you can really appreciate how those sweeping black tendrils on his helmet curl outward with red-tipped edges that mirror the serpent detailing below. The white mummy wrappings drape loosely around his arms and torso with a real sense of weight and movement to the sculpt.
Mumm-Ra the Ever Living’s golden waistband catches your eye here, with a sculpted yellow trim that borders the blue and red panels of his loincloth in a way that stays true to his animated design. I like how the swap hand tucked in the lower right of the tray appears to be a green energy effect piece, hinting at some fun display options once you crack this open.
Vultureman Deluxe
Vultureman’s brown feather collar has a great layered texture, with each individual plume sculpted to overlap and fan outward across his shoulders. His taloned feet are a cool detail, with each curved claw separated and slightly splayed, and I like how the teal blaster rifle includes a purple grip that breaks up the color nicely.
Vultureman’s packaging gives you a better sense of the figure’s color palette through the blister, with that pale tan skin tone contrasting against the deep navy pleated skirt and brown leather belt cinched at his waist. His teal blaster rifle is packed alongside him in the tray, and the sheer size of it compared to the figure suggests it’s going to be a fun piece to pose with once he’s freed.
The packaging features the classic ThunderCats logo splashed across a black card with a splattered grey and white insert behind the blister. Vultureman’s accessories, including what looks like a teal blaster rifle and a smaller sidearm, are nestled alongside him in the tray, and you can already see how well that sculpted brown feather collar frames his vulture head.
A close-up reveals the incredible depth in Vultureman’s feather collar, where the brown plumes shift between warm chestnut and darker burnt umber tones as they layer across his chest and shoulders. His large golden beak has a thick, hooked shape with a subtle color gradient that lightens toward the bridge of his nose, sitting just below those narrow, squinting amber eyes that absolutely nail his scheming cartoon personality.
