If you have been following Toy Habits for a while, you will know that I am a big fan of 5.5″ knock figures from the 80’s, so when Playmates revealed their new super cute TMNT Mutant Meyhem Knock Off Knock Out 2 Packs, I just knew I had to pick these up! Well I have to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to the Baroness of Toys for scoring me a set of all 4 Turtle 2 packs because my preorder is currently on back order. Playmates really knocked it outta the park with this hilarious homage to the 5.5″ Knock Off Turly Gang and Galaxy Warriors type figures of the 80’s! Even the name they used “Tublar Tortoise Karate Warriors” is freakin hilarious! So let’s check out these new TMNT Mutant Meyhem Knock Off Knock Out 2 Packs in hand images!
The 4 Turtle Bros. are dressed in winter gear from the movie short. I love Donnie’s puffy jacket and Mikey’s orange sweater and homemade rat mug for Splinter’s holiday gift!
Leo & Nardo
These guys come packed in a very cool gift style 2 pack! The Knock Off Turtles have ” Tubular Tortoise Karate Warriors” branding and the Turtle bros come blistered to a cool street scene. Here we have the packaging for Leo and Nardo.
Each of the Knock Off turtles come packaged on a blister card with the ” Tubular Tortoise Karate Warriors” branding and artwork that matches the color of each of the turtles. The rear of the packaging features a cross sell with all 4 turtles, plus a bio for each. Also the turtles are described as ” These Herculean heroes work closely with local law enforcement to clean up criminal filth in the Big Apple! They like to bash the baddies and then crush some cheeseburgers”. So these guys like cheeseburgers instead of pizza, and are the Knock off alter egos of the 4 Turtle Brothers.

Mikey and Mark
