Here you can see the incredible box art which is a stunning homage to the vintage original!

Views of the front and rear of the packaging. The rear of the packaging includes a cool diorama image of the actual playset featuring the Lords of Powers set of Origins figures!

Here are a few hi res close ups of the artwork. You can see Lords of Power versions of He-Man, Man At Arms, Skeletor, Beast Man and Mer-Man. Beast Man is handling purple dragon, and then you can see mini comic Stratos flying down. Zodac and Demo Man can be seen in the other panel and a small creature is found just below Zodac’s hand.

Let’s take a closer look at the artwork and some of the cool hidden easter eggs and nods to the vintage art of MOTU. You can see a shark nipping at Mer Man and then a closer look at the small creature is found just below Zodac’s hand. According to Roy Juarez, who answered our comment on his Instagram post, “The demonlike sea creature and other creatures seen in the artwork are from the play mat art. Who knows what else is lurking in the moat shadows 🫣.”

Here you can see how this classic Master of the Universe art inspired the helmetless Battlecat with his helmet laying off to the side of the battle scene.

Also you can see below the homage to a Blonde Teela on horse back riding a unicorn from the vintage storyline from Teela’s Charger from the Battleramblog.com, as seen below.

You can also see Faker, who stole the Space Suit, which was confirmed by Axel Gimenez, atop Castle Graykull manning the cannon as Zoar tries to interfere! Huge thanks to lgthered for the heads up!

The Masters of the Universe Origins Mark Taylor Vintage Castle Grayskull Playset packaging takes center stage with bold, retro-inspired artwork that pays tribute to the classic aesthetic. The front showcases the fortress in dramatic detail, surrounded by iconic characters locked in battle, including He-Man charging forward and Skeletor leading his forces into the fray. A callout highlights the inclusion of a special edition Space Suit figure, tying back to the vintage concept roots. On the reverse, the package displays the fully assembled playset with figures in action.

The side panel features Demo-Man, another Mark Taylor original concept, capturing the essence of the vintage MOTU era while honoring Mark Taylor’s original vision.

On the side panel of the box, Battle Cat is shown mid-charge, muscles tensed as he leaps forward with his claws extended. His green body and orange armor stand out against the fiery red backdrop, capturing his ferocity as he lunges into the action, ready to tear into the fray.

The box art features some deep-cut character choices that pay homage to the earliest concepts of Masters of the Universe. At the top of Castle Grayskull, the Green Goddess unleashes a powerful energy blast, while Zodac is caught in the action below, returning fire with his cosmic blaster. Looming at the jawbridge are Lords of Power versions of Skeletor and Beast Man, with Skeletor brandishing his sword in a commanding pose as Beast Man raises his clawed hand in rage. Off to the side, Mer-Man in his Lords of Power design crouches with his trident, adding to the vintage Mark Taylor-inspired lineup that makes this artwork such a unique tribute.
