Transformers NYCC 2026 Panel Reveals and Info
Hasbro had plenty to reveal during its Transformers panel at New York Comic Con 2026, giving fans a look at what’s coming to Age of the Primes and Studio Series in 2027. The reveals included the return of Alpha Bravo, new figures inspired by the original 2007 Transformers movie as it approaches its 20th anniversary, and a massive Titan Class Scorn from Age of Extinction. Hasbro also had a few surprises, including a Valentine’s Day Optimus Prime and Elita-1 two-pack and a six-figure Autobot cassette collection featuring characters pulled from the history of the 1986 animated movie. Along with the new figures, the team shared some interesting details about their development and what’s planned for the Transformers lineup beyond 2027.
The first reveal gave the Decepticons some attention with Walmart’s Decepticon Bugbite and Decepticon Exhaust. Bugbite converts into a white compact car, while Exhaust uses the familiar white, red, and blue racing deco with the number 598.

From there, the Hasbro team opened the 2027 Transformers: Age of the Primes Deluxe Wave 1 assortment. This was the first look at the next batch of Deluxes planned for the Generations line.

That wave includes Skyguard, Wildrider, Breakaway, and Alpha Bravo. Their alternate modes cover a red-and-purple aircraft, yellow car, purple jet, and white-and-purple helicopter. Alpha Bravo received particular attention from Mark, who said, “I really do feel like he’s basically inducted into the Aerialbots, right?” The team acknowledged there was “a lot of love for Alpha Bravo.”

Guzzle and Cybershark continued Age of the Primes Deluxe Wave 1. Guzzle converts into a chunky tracked tank with twin cannons, while Cybershark becomes a mechanical shark. “Cybershark is an awesome character,” the Hasbro team said, specifically calling out how well the metallic paint works across the shark mode.

The final Age of the Primes slide paired Onyx Prime with Starscream. Onyx Prime has two creature-like configurations built around dark blue and purple armor, large wings, horns, and claws. Machine Wars Starscream is also joining Age of the Primes, taking inspiration from the 1997 Transformers: Machine Wars toy line. The figure uses the Skyquake mold with a new head sculpt that pays tribute to the original Machine Wars design. It’s a nice callback to a relatively short-lived chapter in Transformers history and gives collectors another character from that lineup to add to their shelves.

Studio Series was next, along with a broader explanation of where Hasbro wants its two collector lines to go. The goal for Studio Series is content accuracy, true scale, and faithfulness to the source, while “Generations is gonna be that sandbox where Mark could get weird.” That distinction is expected to become sharper in 2028, although 2027 will still include Machine Wars-inspired material and other projects in the newer segment. November 10 was also identified as the current preorder target for at least some of the Studio Series products, with more reveals planned for Tuesday alongside G.I. Joe and other Hasbro brands.

Hasbro kicked off its 2027 Studio Series Deluxe reveals with three figures from different corners of Transformers history. The lineup includes Allicon and Wheelie from The Transformers: The Movie (1986), along with Shockwave from Transformers One. Allicon features his distinctive green-and-purple colors and transforms into his mechanical alligator mode, while Wheelie comes with his familiar orange robot and vehicle modes. Shockwave rounds out the group with his purple Cybertronian design, transforming into a heavily armed vehicle inspired by his appearance in the animated film.

Deluxe TF1 Jazz joined the Studio Series lineup in silver robot and sports-car modes, complete with a large circular blade-like accessory. This reveal was tied to the 20th-anniversary plans for all five Autobots from the 2007 movie. The team explained that some of those releases would be package refreshes while others needed more substantial updates.

The presentation then advanced to the 2027 Studio Series Deluxe Wave 2 assortment, opening another run of Deluxe reveals spanning G1, comics, the live-action movies, and Transformers: Devastation.

G1 Red Alert is also joining the 2027 Studio Series Deluxe lineup, bringing his classic Generation 1 appearance to the collection. The figure features his familiar white-and-red Lamborghini-inspired sports car mode, complete with the fire department markings and roof-mounted emergency lights. In robot mode, Red Alert retains the recognizable design of the original G1 character, including the red chest detailing and shoulder-mounted launcher.

Deluxe IDW Nautica brings the comic character into Studio Series as a chunky purple robot with broad shoulders, heavy lower legs, silver hands, and small yellow highlights. Her alternate mode is a wide futuristic vehicle built around a silver canopy and matching yellow vent details.

Bumblebee is also getting another release in the 2027 Studio Series Deluxe lineup as Hasbro celebrates the 20th anniversary of the original 2007 Transformers movie. The figure features his familiar yellow Chevrolet Camaro with black racing stripes, along with the detailed movie-inspired robot mode and arm-mounted blaster. Bumblebee is part of Hasbro’s plans to bring all five original movie Autobots back to Studio Series, with a mix of returning figures and updated releases.

Rounding out Studio Series Deluxe Wave 2 is Goldfire from the Transformers: Devastation video game. Based on Bumblebee’s gold-colored counterpart, the figure captures the game’s G1-inspired appearance with gold body panels, blue limbs, and a new head sculpt. Goldfire transforms into a compact gold car and comes equipped with multiple weapons, including a roof-mounted cannon. It’s another addition to the Studio Series lineup inspired by Transformers video games.

The Studio Series reveals then moved up a size class with the 2027 Voyager Wave 1 assortment. That brought the presentation back to the original live-action movie and the Autobots Hasbro identified as needing another look.

Voyager TF1 Ratchet is one of the more substantial 2007-film updates. Evan chose to revisit the character as a Voyager after the earlier Deluxe release, or as the team put it, “Upgrade that to a Voyager where he should have been from the get-go.” Ratchet now has a bulkier green emergency vehicle mode with off-road tires, roof lights, and a heavy grille guard, plus a large circular saw-like accessory in robot mode.

Voyager TF1 Ironhide was shown in robot mode and as the familiar black GMC pickup truck, with the vehicle’s broad front end forming much of his chest and shoulders. His oversized multi-barreled forearm weapon reinforces the heavily armed movie design. While discussing Ironhide and the rest of the group, the team reiterated that all five 2007-film Autobots were being addressed and teased a couple of additional surprises connected to that movie.

Studio Series is also going much larger with Titan TF4 Scorn from Transformers: Age of Extinction. The robot mode is an asymmetrical Dinobot packed with layered armor, exposed machinery, sharp spines, and a long segmented tail arm that extends well beyond the claw on the opposite side.

Scorn’s dinosaur mode makes full use of the Titan scale, with a huge open jaw, long teeth, an extended tail, and uneven mechanical spines running down the back. It is a suitably massive Studio Series treatment of the Age of Extinction Dinobot.

Voyager Energon Universe Shredhead will be a Pulse exclusive. The figure turns from a robot armed with an enormous translucent green sword into a black van covered in bright comic-style graphics and yellow lightning. Hasbro called it an amazing Voyager-scale figure and said its preorder would not be much longer, although the exact date was still being determined. This is not a one-off, either: “We are going to have more Energon Universe figures coming, promise,” including important characters the line has not covered yet.

The Fan Channel Valentine’s Day Optimus Prime and Elita-1 set leans fully into the relationship, placing both figures in gift-box packaging covered with hearts and photos of the pair. Packaging partner Amy photographed the actual painted models used on the box. “They’re going out on dates. They’re just having a good time, wild and crazy kids.” Elita-1 converts into a pink car, Optimus retains his red-and-blue truck mode, and the set includes matching cube-shaped pieces. Optimus also gets his blaster because, as the team joked, “Optimus always has to have his blaster just in case someone’s trying to sneak up on his girl.”

Hasbro wrapped up its Transformers panel with a Studio Series ’86 Autobot Cassette Pack featuring Bolts, Cubbie, Rewind, Ramhorn, Stripes, and Stinger. What makes this six-pack particularly interesting is that Hasbro went back through original scripts, storyboards, and deleted scenes from The Transformers: The Movie (1986) to bring some lesser-known characters into the toy line. Bolts and Stinger feature all-new tooling, with Stinger transforming into a scorpion. The set is planned for a spring release through Fan Channel retailers, and Hasbro teased that more Decepticon cassettes could be coming in the future.
