The MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Wave 22 in-hand images are complete with Mr. Home Arcade’s photoshoot of Skeletor’s henchman that is Evil & Sees Everything, Tri-Klops. Featuring the accessory, the Rock Softener, Inspired by the episode, ” The Royal Cousin”, Tri-Klops completes Skeletor’s close group of henchman for the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection. As far as the figure goes, he is pretty basic as he just has a normal buck for a body with some armor but the visor is what you pay the big bucks for. You can also view Mr. Home Arcade’s video review of Tri-Klops on his YouTube Channel! Tri-Klops looks amazing on the new 40th Anniversary Princess of Power card and he is packed with his Rock Softener to his left but he looks even better out of the package so let’s dive in!

His armor is a lighter green that what appears in the Filmation cartoon but he looks great with his hair hanging down and his helmet strap that goes around his face and under his chin.

There is not much too his armor has you can see much of his body from the side views but that is how Tri-Klops rolled! You can get a good view of the hair and how it peaks out from under the visor.

The Rock Softener is a cool pack-in but the silver paint application suffers from some QC issues that we saw on the silver Horde Troopers. For some reason, the paint never dries uniformly and it is the case with the Rock Softener accessory. There is a splash of red on the sides giving it a touch of color and the handles have some nice detail on them.

Tri-Klops looks great posed with his Rock Softener and he can grip it nicely with both hands.

Here is a comparison shot of the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Tri-Klops alongside his mini comic version (left) and his MOTU Origins version (right). You can really see the difference in the visors as the Cartoon Collection version is more form fitting.

You’ll notice that his armor is a lighter green that what appears in the Filmation cartoon but he looks great with his hair hanging down.
