Tung Lashor MOTU Trademark Renewal
Collectors will be excited to learn that Mattel renewed the trademark for Tung Lashor on July 30, 2025, adding fuel to speculation that the fan-favorite Snake Man could be making his way to the Masterverse line. With Kobra Khan recently confirmed as the first Snake Man to join the Masterverse roster, the timing feels especially notable. The connection is even stronger considering Tung Lashor was recently teased on Kobra Khan’s box art, hinting that his arrival could be more than just wishful thinking. The Snake Men were also featured quite prominently in the MOTU 200x animated series and while no Snake Men were on display in the Mattel at SDCC 2025, we are hoping that the faction makes it that line. While no official figure reveal has been made, the renewed trademark is often a strong indicator that something is in the works, making this an intriguing development for Masters of the Universe collectors keeping an eye on the expanding Snake Men faction.

Tung Lashor Box Art Tease
On the front of the New Eternia Masterverse Kobra Khan box, Tung Lashor is teased in the lower right corner of the artwork. He is illustrated with bright magenta skin accented by dark purple striping, an orange chest, and his long yellow tongue extended outward. The placement and vivid colors make him instantly recognizable, offering a subtle but unmistakable nod that hints at his possible addition to the Masterverse line.

MOTU Classics and MOTU Origins
The MOTU Origins Tung Lashor (left) and the Masters of the Universe Classics Tung Lashor (right) share a consistent overall design, with both figures featuring the bright magenta skin accented by dark purple striping, an orange chest with a green snake emblem, clawed feet, and the distinctive extended tongue. Both hold a purple snake staff and a dragonfly-shaped crossbow in teal, keeping true to the character’s vintage weapon loadout. The main differences lie in sculpt detail, scale, and proportions. The Origins version has a chunkier, more simplified build with smoother sculpt lines, reflecting the vintage-inspired aesthetic, while the Classics version has a taller, more muscular frame with intricate texturing on the skin, scales, and armor pieces. The Classics figure’s head sculpt is more detailed with sharper facial features and a more segmented tongue design, while the Origins head is rounder and more stylized. Additionally, the Classics accessories are more elaborate, with added surface details and a deeper color tone compared to the flatter finishes of the Origins weapons.
