Two-Bad MOTU Origins Mattel Creations Official Images and Preorder Info
The listing for the Masters of the Universe Origins Two Bad Figure is now live on Mattel Creations, giving us official images and the details ahead of its September 23, 2026 preorder launch at 9 a.m. PT. It isn’t available to order yet, but Mattel has priced the 5.5-inch figure at $22; an estimated ship date has not been provided. We previously covered Mattel’s Two-Bad tease, and I’m glad to finally get a proper look at how the vintage character has been handled for Origins. The opposing blue and purple color schemes remain the heart of the design, with unique sculpting on each side helping the two-headed henchman retain the wonderfully strange asymmetry of the original ’80s toy. He has 16 points of articulation and comes with a yellow shield matched to his chest armor, along with a mini comic. Two-Bad is exactly the kind of character I’ve wanted to see added to Origins, especially since his split design is so closely tied to the personality of the vintage Masters of the Universe line.

Masters of the Universe Origins Two Bad Figure
Two Bad comes on a classic MOTU Origins cardback and we can see Two-Bad in all of his glory and the mini comic tucked behind his legs.

Here we get a better look at both the front and rear packaging for Two-Bad. You can see the full rear illustration features Two-Bad working in some sort of laboratory which looks like it could be in Snake Mountain. Skeletor can be seen pumping his fists in anger in the background.

The mini comic, The Foes of Fortune, has a bold illustrated cover of Two Bad, with both heads wearing toothy snarls beneath the large series logo. Jagged purple rock formations surround him, and a horned skull sits among the rubble below.

Here we get a better look at the two portraits: the blue head has heavy black brows, red eyes, and short white tusks, while the purple head has a yellow brow ridge, narrow black eyes, and longer fangs. The classic yellow shield is covered with raised round studs like the vintage design.

Two Bad wears a chunky silver forearm guard and matching boot on his blue half, while the purple leg has a glossy red boot with a flared top. A studded red belt sits above the black trunks, with small silver details peeking out at each hip.

The split runs in a jagged line across Two Bad’s torso and left thigh, separating the smooth blue skin from the purple half’s overlapping scale texture. His chest armor has rows of raised studs, recessed panels, and angular shapes molded across the front.

Beyond the different faces, the blue head has a ridged crest and pointed ears, while the purple head has a single horn, small bumps across the forehead, and round ears.

The close-up gives us a clear look at the front of the bright yellow shield, with a raised border and a mix of rounded bumps and angular geometric shapes surrounding the large circular detail in the center.

Here we can see how the two separate necks rise from the shared torso, with the purple scales running all the way up beneath that head. The purple horn sweeps backward in a thick curve, ending just behind the crown.

I’m really happy to see Two Bad finally make his way into the line, and I think he came out great. The figure captures that classic split design with the blue and purple halves, two distinct heads, contrasting armor, and the bright yellow chest piece tying everything together.
