To celebrate the debut of the Voltron Legendary Defender animated series back in 2016, Blitzway has crafted a jaw-dropping Special Limited Edition that is capped at just 2,016 pieces worldwide. This edition includes the full main body, all five pilot minifigures, the blazing sword, a wing shield, and even a special display base that lets you recreate those dynamic aerial combat poses. For those who want a powerful display piece but might not need the limited-run extras, Blitzway has also put together a fantastic Standard Edition that builds on their fan-favorite Classic Voltron release. Featuring Blitzway Carbotix’s iconic Die-Cast metal construction, the Standard Edition embodies the bold evolution of this legendary defender while still delivering the same premium presence collectors have come to love. The main differences between the two versions are in their exclusivity and what’s included for display. The Standard Edition doesn’t have a production cap and comes with 5 lion-specific swords along with a display base for standard posing. The Limited Edition, on the other hand, is strictly limited to 2,016 pieces worldwide and does not include the lion-specific swords but instead comes with a special display base designed for aerial combat poses.
The Standard Edition of Voltron: Legendary Defender stands at 17.3 inches (44 cm) tall with a width of 12.5 inches (32 cm) and a depth of 7.87 inches (20 cm), while the Special Limited Edition comes in slightly taller at 18.5 inches (47 cm) with a wider stance of 14.5 inches (37 cm) and a deeper base of 11.4 inches (29 cm). The key difference comes from the inclusion of the display base in the Limited Edition, which not only adds to the figure’s overall size but also enhances its presence by elevating the stance and giving more room for flying dynamic posing.

Standard Edition Lions
