I have to admit, with so much of the spotlight lately going to MOTU Chronicles and the Core figures riding the wave of the Masters of the Universe movie push, a small part of me wondered whether the 200x Origins Cartoon Collection might quietly slip through the cracks, but Mattel just put those concerns to rest in a big way by dropping official images of the 200x MOTU Origins Wave 4 figure assortment, and I could not be happier to see this line going strong. We first caught early intel on this wave back in November 2025 Thanks to some incredible sleuthing by El Cofre Geek, when he discovered their listings on Amazon and we shared what we knew with collectors, so going from those initial findings to now seeing polished official images is exactly why we stay patient when the puzzle pieces do not quite fit at first. The 200x era holds a special place in the hobby for a lot of us, and the fact that Mattel continues to invest in translating those Mike Young Productions designs into the Origins format tells me there is still real love for this corner of the MOTU universe both inside the company and across the collector community. It is easy to get swept up in the excitement of a major theatrical release and the new product lines that come with it, but seeing the Cartoon Collection hold its ground alongside all of that noise is a full circle moment for fans who have championed the 200x aesthetic from the beginning. I am fired up that this wave is moving forward, and I can’t wait to see how collectors react once these start hitting the pegs. U.S. preorders have gone live on Amazon and Entertainment Earth and Big Bad Toy Store are set to drop at 9am PT!

Teela stands in her 200x-era armor, featuring a gold and white chest piece with a small green gem at the center, turquoise shoulder accents, and layered gold arm guards. Her red-orange hair is pulled into a high ponytail held by a gold tiara, and she wears tall brown boots with sculpted fur trim at the knees. She includes a gold cobra-headed staff as an accessory.

Teela holds the cobra staff with both hands, gripping it diagonally across her body. Her facial sculpt carries a slight smirk with blue painted eyes, and the gold paint across her armor has a warm, slightly reflective finish.

Brown boots with sculpted fur-style cuffs and curved gray shin guards complete the lower half while the arms feature gold bracers and gauntlets, and I like how this straight-on pose lets you clearly see the full costume layout and proportions.

Teela from the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection appears in a wide battle stance, gripping her gold snake-headed staff while the other hand reaches forward. The figure features bright red hair pulled back into a long high ponytail with a gold headpiece, a white and teal armored top with gold accents across the chest, and a layered gold skirt armor piece attached to a gray belt. Brown boots with fur-like trim and shin guards round out the look, and I really like how the pose lets you see the staff clearly while showing the full figure from head to toe.

From the rear view, Teela’s long red ponytail flows down the back in a thick sculpted strand that curves outward before tapering near the waist. The back of the armor shows a smooth white panel with teal shoulder armor on one side, a gray belt wrapping around the waist, and the layered gold skirt plates continuing around the hips. Brown boots rise up the calves with fur-like cuffs at the top, while the gold bracers and armbands wrap around the forearms and upper arms as the figure stands in a neutral stance.

Orko floats on a clear support stand, wearing his signature red robe with gold trim at the sleeves, belt, and hem, along with a pink scarf and wide-brimmed red hat with pale blue horn-like ear protrusions. His dark face features two round yellow eyes, and his blue-purple hands extend outward from the oversized sleeves. Included accessories are two translucent blue magic effect pieces with branching, energy effects and a gold medallion necklace.

Fitted onto both of Orko’s outstretched hands, the translucent blue magic effects have an organic, flame-like sculpt that adds considerable width to the figure’s overall silhouette. The clear support stand elevates him well above a standard figure’s height, with a thin curved rod connecting to a rounded base.

The back of the red robe flares slightly at the hem with gold trim along the edge, while a purple scarf hangs down the center of the back beneath the wide red hat that features. Translucent blue magic effects extend outward from the sleeves, spreading into branching shapes that give the impression of energy bursting from his hands.

Here you can see both blue hands raised, each sculpted in a spellcasting gesture with the fingers slightly curled and separated. The long red sleeves flare outward at the wrists with gold trim, leaving the hands fully exposed so the open finger poses stand out clearly.

A different angle shows Orko posed with both blue hands extended outward, each sculpted with slightly curled fingers as if mid-spell. One hand reaches forward with the fingers spread while the other lifts higher with the palm angled outward, showing the different hand poses clearly beneath the flared red sleeves trimmed in gold.

Mer-Man features his classic 200x head sculpt and a wide mouth showing small pointed teeth. His armor combines gold shoulder pauldrons, a segmented gold chest plate with a turquoise gem at the center, and a maroon loincloth with a matching gold sunburst buckle and gem. He comes with two gold accessories: an ornate trident staff with a twisted handle and a serrated corncob sword with a broad, ridged blade.

Gold greaves with fin-shaped knee guards cover Mer-Man’s lower legs, while his bare teal feet feature individually sculpted webbed toes. Both accessories have a warm metallic gold finish that matches the armor detailing across his body.

Shown here, Mer-Man stands in a wide stance holding a gold trident in one hand while the other grips a large gold sword with a jagged blade. The figure features teal skin with a scaled chest armor piece, gold shoulder armor, and a maroon skirt armor attached to a gold belt with a turquoise center gem. His fish-like head sculpt shows a finned crest along the top with yellow facial detailing and sharp teeth, while gold shin guards and bracers frame the limbs.

Mer-Man faces forward gripping the large gold sword across his torso, the serrated blade cutting diagonally through the pose. Gold shoulder armor and scaled chest armor sit over the teal body with a turquoise gem at the collar, while the maroon skirt armor and gold shin guards with green knee plates frame the lower half.

From the rear, Mer-Man shows the gold shoulder armor tapering down the back between the shoulder blades while the teal body remains mostly uncovered. A maroon skirt armor wraps around the waist beneath a gold belt, and the gold shin guards extend up the calves with raised fin details along the back.

Roboto features a bulky robotic frame with a blue and gray upper body and deep red lower half, including segmented thigh armor and large angular feet in dark purple-gray. His chest has a translucent blue window revealing internal mechanical detailing beneath, and his head is small relative to the body with a red visor and blue-white helmet. He comes with two weapon accessories: a gray cylindrical canon and a red dual-barreled cannon.

The gray shoulder-mounted canon sits snugly over Roboto’s left shoulder, while the red dual-barreled cannon is gripped in his left hand, replacing the standard fist. His right hand is clenched in a closed fist with white and gray paint apps on the forearm armor. The overall proportions emphasize a top-heavy silhouette with broad shoulders tapering down to narrower hips and the chunky, flat-bottomed feet.

Roboto stands with a wide mechanical stance featuring a gray and blue armored torso with a transparent chest panel that reveals internal gears and machinery. One arm ends in a red multi-barrel blaster while the other forms a gray blocky fist, and a large cannon is mounted over one shoulder. The lower half combines red upper legs with bulky gray boots that have angular armor panels, giving the figure a solid robotic build from head to toe.

Roboto is turned slightly to the side with the red blaster arm aimed forward, highlighting the twin barrels and mechanical detailing at the wrist. The clear chest window exposes the internal gear assembly, while the shoulder cannon sits behind the helmeted head. Large gray boots anchor the stance beneath the red thighs and blue upper body armor.

From the rear, Roboto shows the rectangular opening in the back of the torso where the internal mechanism is visible through the clear body section. Blue shoulder armor sits above mismatched arms, with the red mechanical arm on one side and the gray fist on the other. Red thighs lead down into large gray boots with broad angular heels that give the figure a sturdy robotic silhouette.
