Huge thanks to Mattel for sending this set over for free so we can share the excitement with you! The Little People Collector The Devil Wears Prada 4-Pack Special Edition set struck a very personal nostalgia chord with me that I was not expecting. I grew up playing with Little People when I was younger, so I have always had a soft spot for this collector line, but this set hit different. Back in 2006, when I was working for eBay, they took us to a special screening of The Devil Wears Prada, and that memory has stuck with me ever since. So when this set was announced, I could not help myself. I had to review it and I am really happy with this one. The four-figure set gives us Miranda Priestly, a post-makeover Andy Sachs, Emily, and Nigel, all captured in their most recognizable looks from the film. Miranda even comes with a tiny copy of Runway magazine, which is such a fun detail that adds some real weight to the set. The packaging places all four characters inside a high-fashion Runway closet scene that looks great for display, and the likenesses across the board are well done for the Little People style. This one clicked immediately for me on both a collector and personal level. This set launches on Mattel Creations at 9am PT on May 1, 2026 on Mattel Creations and you can also pick this set up on Amazon.

Packaging

The packaging on this set is really well done, with the high-fashion closet backdrop full of illustrated handbags and shoes framing Nigel, Andrea, Miranda, and Emily front and center through the window display. I love the iconic red stiletto heel with the pitchfork worked into the box design, and the whole presentation is clean enough that in-box collectors can proudly display this one as-is.

The side panel wraps the box with a oversized teal handbag illustration that perfectly captures the fashion-forward energy of the film, translated into that chunky, stylized Little People aesthetic. It’s a clever design choice that ties the packaging back to the movie’s luxury fashion world without relying on any character imagery.

The left side panel showcases all four characters in their stylized Little People form, each with their name printed beneath them, stacked vertically from Andrea at the top down through Miranda, Nigel, and Emily Charlton. It’s a nice quick reference that lets you identify the full lineup at a glance before you even open the box.

The back of the box features a fun scene with all four characters illustrated in the Runway magazine office, complete with bookshelves, framed artwork, and a coffee cup on the desk. Each character is posed with their signature accessories, including Nigel holding a document and Miranda clutching her copy of Runway magazine.

Here’s a fun little detail you might miss if you’re not paying attention. Once you peel back the tape securing the clamshell, there’s a hidden quote printed underneath: “Alright, everyone. Gird your loins!”, one of Miranda Priestly’s most iconic lines from the film and a perfect easter egg for fans who actually open the box.

The inner box art is a gorgeous stylized recreation of the Runway magazine fashion closet, with shelves packed full of illustrated shoes, boots, and handbags flanking a monochrome character sketch at the center. It’s a really charming nod to one of the film’s most memorable settings, and it makes a great display backdrop once you remove the figures.

Figure Details

From left to right, you’ve got Nigel in his grey vest and glasses, Andrea in her post-makeover black jacket with gold necklaces, Miranda clutching her tiny Runway magazine, and Emily rounding out the lineup in her black and gold top. Each one has a distinct silhouette and outfit that immediately identifies them, and I love how the set captures the whole core cast in one clean grouping.

The front view of Miranda highlights a small pendant resting against the purple top, along with her oversized round glasses framed by sculpted earrings on each side. From the back, the hair sculpt is full of swirling, layered waves that carry impressive depth and volume, and you can see how the jacket sits snugly over the shoulders with a clean, fitted silhouette.

The Runway magazine accessory is a great little piece, with the silhouette cover art and text cleanly printed on that tiny surface. I love the sculpted texture on the jacket too, where the creased, leather-like finish pairs with sharp, clean lines throughout.

The front view shows off all the little details in Nigel’s layered outfit, from the sculpted vest buttons and belt buckle to the red tie peeking out beneath the open jacket, while the back reveals clean pinstripe-like ridges molded into the jacket fabric. I like how the back is kept simple with just the jacket and trouser sculpt, letting the front carry all the visual weight.

The front of Emily features her sculpted leather jacket with rows of tiny stud details across the lapels and a ruffled white top visible underneath, all cinched together with a sculpted belt at the waist. From the back, you can see the layered hair sculpt with its curled ends resting on the shoulders, and the jacket carries over cleanly with a smooth, uncluttered finish.

The front of Andrea shows off her sweater peeking through the open jacket with stacked neckalces around her neck, with a sculpted green handbag slung at her side adding a nice pop of texture against the smooth outerwear. From the back, the hair sculpt has clean, individually carved strands that flow all the way down past the shoulders, and you can see how the handbag wraps around with its crossbody strap still visible.

Miranda’s sculpted outfit layers a black jacket over a purple top with red pants, while Andy pairs her black jacket with a chevron-patterned sweater, gold layered necklaces, and olive-toned boots. The contrast between Miranda’s sharp, editorial look and Andy’s accessorized post-makeover ensemble really sells how different these two characters are despite both being in dark outerwear.

Emily and Nigel make such a charming pair side by side, with her sculpted auburn hair and layered black outfit contrasting nicely against his clean bald head, round glasses, and vest-and-tie combo. You can really appreciate the personality in their faces at this scale, from Emily’s slightly pursed expression to Nigel’s warm little grin.
