We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and it’s been a satisfying ride watching Whiplash go from early intel to in-hand leak to a polished official reveal, and now the final step in that journey is here because the preorder page at Big Bad Toy Store is live, with the 200X Cartoon Collection Whiplash Deluxe figure priced at $24.99 and slated to ship in June 2026. We first caught wind of this one when early intel surfaced that both Man-E-Faces and Whiplash were headed to the 200X Origins Deluxe lineup, and since then the picture has only gotten sharper with official images and eventually in-hand photos confirming that this version of Eternia’s tail-swinging bruiser translated beautifully into the 5.5-inch Origins scale. What I love about the 200X redesigns getting the Origins treatment is how the Cartoon Collection manages to honor that early 2000s aesthetic, all the bulk and the harder edges and the more monstrous proportions that the Four Horsemen brought to the 2002 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series, while still fitting neatly alongside the rest of your Origins shelf. Whiplash in particular benefits from the deluxe treatment because the character’s design demands that extra tooling budget, and with up to 16 points of articulation packed into that frame he should be plenty poseable despite the heavier sculpt. Big Bad Toy Store continues to be one of our go-to affiliate partners for locking in preorders like this, especially when you want that peace of mind on shipping and packaging quality. If this 200X wave has been on your radar, getting Whiplash secured early feels like the smart move given how quickly some of these Cartoon Collection deluxe figures have moved in the past.

Masters of the Universe: Origins Whiplash (200X Cartoon Collection) Deluxe Action Figure
The packaging features a fiery red and orange card design with Castle Grayskull’s iconic skull facade looming at the top. Whiplash is housed in a window box that gives a clear view of his green reptilian sculpt, blue loincloth, and gold belt with its spiral emblem at the center.

The back of the box features a fully illustrated scene depicting Whiplash in his 200X cartoon design, surrounded by characters from the “Underworld” episode, with Skeletor and a horned beast looming in the background. Along the bottom, small figure photos highlight the rotating tail feature alongside cross-sell images of Clawful, Roboto, and Whiplash from the same wave.

Whiplash’s full figure shows off his green reptilian skin with lighter striping across the chest and torso, paired with a blue pleated loincloth and matching blue wrist cuffs and knee guards. His tail hangs low with a spiked mace-like club at the tip, and that gold belt with the spiral buckle ties the whole 200X design together nicely.

His head sculpt has a great furrowed brow and pronounced underbite with small fangs poking out, and the horns on his crown add a lot of character to the 200X redesign. Spiked protrusions run along his shoulders and knees, giving the sculpt a textured, armored feel that goes well beyond the vintage version.

The three-toed clawed feet have a nice sculpted texture with distinct nails on each toe, and the blue knee guards sit cleanly above the ankle joint. Whiplash’s thick, stocky proportions really sell the 200X cartoon look at this scale.

From the back, the sculpt carries just as much detail, with a ridge running down the spine and lumpy, organic texturing across the upper back and shoulders. The spiked tail club is the real star here, with thick conical spikes radiating out from the tip in a way that reads perfectly faithful to the 200X cartoon design.
