Everybody’s got a price! Huge thanks to @majorwfpod for posting these images and giving us the heads up on the latest drop from Mattel’s amazing WWE LJN Superstars retro line. Wave 4 has been revealed and it is a really cool lineup featuring Mr. Perfect with the Intercontinental Championship, CM Punk, and The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase! If you grew up with those chunky, rubber LJN Wrestling Superstars figures in the 80s, you know how special this line is, and Mattel continues to do the originals proud with each new wave. I love how Mr. Perfect comes packed with the IC title, that is such a nice touch and so fitting for one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time. And pairing CM Punk alongside The Million Dollar Man in the same wave? How cool is that?! These apparently went up on WWE Shop and sold out in minutes, which tells you everything you need to know about how the collector community feels about this line. If you missed out, hopefully we’ll see a restock or a wider retail release down the road, but only time will tell. So let’s take a look at WWE LJN Superstars Retro Wave 4!
Mr. Perfect comes dressed in his signature orange singlet with matching trunks, white wristbands, and white boots, all faithfully translated into that chunky retro LJN style. He includes a championship belt and a white towel accessory, which is a great nod to one of his most iconic in-ring habits. The card art is fantastic, featuring a hand-illustrated Mr. Perfect standing in the ring with arms crossed, a packed arena crowd behind him, and bold “Tonight at the Coliseum” text across the bottom. You can see how the whole presentation leans into that late-’80s aesthetic with the energetic crowd signs and vivid color palette.

Ted DiBiase is looking sharp in his black suit with a purple vest, purple bow tie, and white dress shirt, complete with dollar sign details on the lapels. The wad of green cash clutched in his fist is a perfect accessory choice for the Million Dollar Man. The card art captures DiBiase ringside in his full suit, fistful of bills tucked into his jacket, with a rowdy coliseum crowd filling every inch of the background. I like how the illustration nails that smug, money-flaunting energy with the purple stripe running down his pant leg and the confident posture.

CM Punk’s white long-sleeve shirt features a Chicago flag-inspired design with red stars and a black stripe across the chest, and the tattooed arms peeking out from under the sleeves are a nice touch on this retro sculpt. His black trunks sit above white kick pads decorated with red stars and blue stripes, paired with black knee pads and white boots. The card art places Punk in the ring with taped fists and that same Chicago shirt, surrounded by a lively crowd waving signs, with “Tonight the Main Event” splashed across the bottom. I’m really digging the way the illustration captures his attitude, from the clenched fist to the subtle smirk, all wrapped in that classic late-’80s LJN presentation.
