ThunderCats are on the move, ThunderCats are loose! And they’re heading straight into the Mezco Five Points lineup, how exciting is this?! Mezco had their SDCC 2026 booth loaded with goodies, and among them was a brand new ThunderCats series in their Five Points 3 3/4″ scale with five points of articulation. I can’t be more excited about this because we’ve seen Mezco do some really cool things with the Five Points format across other properties, and now they’re bringing that same love to Third Earth. These look like so much fun, and I just love seeing ThunderCats continue to get attention from top tier toy companies. The 3 3/4″ scale has such a classic feel to it, and it instantly takes me back to the vintage LJN days when these characters first hit the pegs. Seeing Lion-O and the crew in this style is freakin’ cute and gives off all those retro toy vibes that we collectors live for. So let’s take a look at the Mezco Five Points ThunderCats SDCC 2026 booth images!
Here’s a closer look at the full ThunderCats lineup, and it’s cool to see the entire crew together at this scale. Lion-O takes center stage with the Sword of Omens raised high, flanked by Tygra, Cheetara, and Panthro, while Mumm-Ra towers over the group on the far right with his deep blue skin and sweeping black cape, and a cloaked, bandaged version of his decayed form stands on the opposite end alongside a small Ma-Mutt sculpt.
Lion-O’s Claw Shield is a great little accessory, with the yellow gauntlet sculpted around his fist and those sharp white claws fanning outward, matching the classic design perfectly at this 3.75″ scale. Cheetara and Panthro flank him here, and each figure sits on a matching black display stand, which is a welcome inclusion for figures with only five points of articulation.
Tygra’s blue leotard has a nice tonal shift between the lighter torso and deeper blue on his legs, and the tiger-stripe deco across his face and arms adds a lot of character to a figure at this scale. You can see how the whip has a great sense of movement to it, curving upward with a small weighted tip, while Cheetara’s orange and yellow outfit pops alongside him and Mumm-Ra’s decayed form lurks in that heavy crimson cloak to the left.
Cheetara takes center stage here between Tygra and Lion-O, and her voluminous yellow hair has a wild, wind-swept sculpt that frames her feline features nicely, with subtle spotted markings across her forehead. Her orange boots have a smooth, rounded toe sculpt that keeps things faithful to the cartoon design, and the small ThunderCats insignia on her chest sits cleanly against the orange of her leotard.
Panthro’s blue-gray skin has a cooler, almost silvery tone compared to Mumm-Ra’s deeper shade, and the spiked shoulder studs add a sharp, aggressive edge to his otherwise streamlined blue harness and belt. I noticed that his ThunderCats belt emblem has a rich red and black color combo that pops against all that cool gray, and Lion-O beside him provides a nice warm contrast with his golden fur and bright red hair.
Mumm-Ra’s decayed form gets a nice spotlight here, and I like how the layered bandage wrapping across his entire body carries real sculptural depth, with individual strips overlapping and creating texture from head to toe. Ma-Mutt sits low beside him with a squat, bulldog-like build, his muted blue-gray skin contrasting with the pointed tan horns and that thin red collar around his neck.
Mumm-Ra’s Ever-Living form is an absolute presence, with his ornate serpent-crowned helmet featuring dual curved horns and a gold cobra crest rising from the center. The red Mumm-Ra insignia on his chest is crisp against the blue-gray skin, and the dark navy cape drapes with a nice weight to it, trimmed in red along the inner lining where it meets the gold belt and brown boot armor.
