Faker MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection In-Hand Images

The MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Wave 23 figure assortment went up for preorder back on January 8, 2025 and we are already starting to see collector’s score these figures! With the official preorder, we did also get official images of Faker but it’s great to see the figures in-hand so we can pour over the details. Faker is packed on the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection She-Ra 40th Anniversary card and his package art does not give us any new figure teases, but is a cool homage to the “Shaping Staff” Filmation Episode!

Faker is a lighter skinned version of the original Cartoon Collection He-Man figure but with updated and alternate head sculpts and some variations in the color and design of the armor. In fact, the skin tone is closer to the Prince Adam Cartoon Collection version. Here is a hot of the head sculpt with the wash applied over the eyes, giving him the true Faker look!

Some side views of the figure show what the wash on the face looks like from different angles.

Faker does come with an alternate head sculpt, which gives He-Man a more devious look!

Mr. Home Arcade also provided some images of the various versions of the He-Man head sculpts with Faker and Prince Adam.

A comparison would not be complete without the Most Powerful Man in the Universe himself as you can see the variation in the harness colors and the redesigned sword sheath on his back, that is a slimmer, more angled design.

The harness is also redesigned in the back, which is a vast improvement to the design.
