LJN WWE Superstars SDCC 2026 Booth Images and Reveals

The LJN WWE Superstars line continues to deliver some of the most fun reveals in the retro toy space, and the SDCC 2026 booth gave collectors a whole lot to dig into with not one but two waves on display plus the line’s first ever tag team 2-pack. Wave 5 leads with a lineup that covers a nice range of the roster, featuring Jay Uso, Iron Sheik, Brother Love, and another Hulk Hogan variant, and while another Hogan isn’t exactly a shock given the character’s iconic status in the LJN legacy, the inclusion of Brother Love is the kind of deep cut that makes this line so enjoyable for fans who appreciate the full spectrum of WWF history beyond just the main event scene. Iron Sheik is a welcome addition that feels long overdue, and Jay Uso brings some modern roster representation into the mix, which is great to see as the line balances nostalgia with contemporary relevance. All four figures from Wave 5 will be available for pre-order on Saturday, August 1 on Target.com, and joining them on the same date is the Hart Foundation 2-pack featuring Bret Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, marking the first tag team set in the line and a pairing that just makes perfect sense as the inaugural duo. Beyond Wave 5, a sixth wave was also revealed at the booth with a release window of early 2027, and this one features Cyndi Lauper, Junkyard Dog, Roman Reigns, and the British Bulldog, which is another really strong mix of eras that keeps the line feeling fresh and unpredictable. Cyndi Lauper getting the LJN treatment is genuinely surprising and speaks to how broadly this line is willing to pull from the world of classic WWF, while Junkyard Dog and British Bulldog are characters that collectors have been hoping to see show up in this style for a while now. Can’t wait to see how both waves look in hand once they start hitting shelves.

LJN WWE Superstars Series 5

Three figures from the new wave are lined up here: Jey Uso in his “YEET” tank top and dark pants, Iron Sheik sporting his championship belt and lace-up boots, and Brother Love in his white suit with a red tie and rose on the lapel. The card art behind each figure carries that classic LJN-style illustration with the group wrestling scene running across the bottom of each blister card.

The brown dress shoes have a nice glossy finish, and that exaggerated red skin tone on the head sculpt is such a perfect detail for the character.

Iron Sheik stands in front of his carded counterpart, wearing blue trunks with a repeating sunburst pattern and a championship belt with a green strap buckled around his waist. The thick handlebar mustache and bald head are clean on the sculpt, and each boot has a different color, matching the mismatched look the character was known for.

The glossy finish on Iron Sheik’s torso gives the sculpt a slick, oiled-up quality that fits the character perfectly. Up close, the championship belt’s center plate has a detailed medallion sculpt with a starburst pattern pressed into it.

Jey Uso’s loose figure shows off the white “YEET” tank top over tattooed arms, with the blue sunglasses painted cleanly across the face sculpt. His carded version sits just behind, and the retro card art features a crowd of cartoon wrestling fans filling the background behind the blister.

Jey Uso’s dark pants have a glossy finish with “FUEGO” lettering printed near the ankle, and the white sneakers have a chunky, flat sole with clean lines. The Samoan tribal tattoo work covering his arm carries intricate geometric patterning that reads well at this scale.

The Hart Foundation tag team two-pack features Bret “Hit Man” Hart in his pink and black trunks with sunglasses and a championship belt, alongside Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart in a matching pink and black singlet. Cindy Lauper stands nearby in her red dress and heels, with a wild curly hair sculpt that captures the ’80s look perfectly.

The Hart Foundation two-pack’s loose figures both wear matching pink trunks, black singlet straps, and black lace-up boots with sculpted lacing that runs all the way up the shin. A tag team championship belt sits between them in the packaging tray, and each figure already has one buckled around their waist.

The Anvil’s head sculpt features a furrowed brow, a pointed goatee, and dark hair swept back, with the championship belt’s center plate carrying a large round medallion with detailed engraving. His black boots have sculpted cross-lacing running up the front, capped with a pink and white stripe at the top where they meet the trunks.

Junkyard Dog’s red trunks have white lettering down the side, and he carries a chain with a handcuff dangling from one fist. His head sculpt features short curly hair, a thick beard, and a squared-off jawline, all finished in that signature glossy LJN style.

Four carded figures are lined up here: Ted DiBiase in his black suit and white dress shirt, Mr. Perfect in orange trunks with a championship belt, CM Punk in a white long-sleeve shirt with star graphics, and John Cena in dark shorts and a cap. Each card features that same retro-style crowd illustration running across the bottom, and CM Punk’s inclusion alongside these classic roster picks is a fun pairing.

John Cena’s dark t-shirt features a massive “The Last Time Is Now” graphic with an illustrated Cena flexing at the center, and the matching cap has the “U Can’t See Me” logo on the front. White wristbands, a red rubber bracelet on the arm, and low-top sneakers round out the farewell tour look, with a CM Punk figure visible just behind him.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts sports green trunks with purple snake graphics winding down both legs, tucked into tall purple lace-up boots with sculpted cross-lacing. The snake accessory draped across his shoulders has a nicely sculpted scale texture, and that mustache and feathered dark hair are dead-on for the character.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s white t-shirt has the “Hot Rod!” graphic printed across the chest, and the plaid kilt has a nice weight and drape to it. Red lace-up boots with sculpted lacing detail finish off the look, and that smirking head sculpt is really solid.
