Masters of the WWE Universe SDCC 2026 Booth Images
San Diego Comic-Con is giving us another chance to get eyes on the Masters of the WWE Universe revival, and the booth display is packed with both familiar faces and some very exciting new reveals that are going to have collectors of both MOTU and WWE deep in their feelings. We first got an up close and personal look at this reinvigorated line back at WrestleMania 42, where Mattel pulled back the curtain on Wave 1 featuring Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Bray Wyatt, and Cody Rhodes, and the SDCC booth is keeping that momentum going strong by putting those figures front and center alongside some painted prototypes that really steal the show. Demolition is on display, which is a pairing that fits the Masters aesthetic like a glove when you think about the face paint and the post-apocalyptic gear those two always brought to the ring, and The Rock is there too, which honestly feels like an inevitability given his star power but I’m curious to see exactly how they’ve translated the Brahma Bull into Eternia’s world. The one that’s going to get people talking the most, though, is the Two Bad mashup of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, and I love how they leaned into the “Too Sweet” wordplay for that one because fusing the Outsiders into a single two-headed figure using Two Bad as the template is the kind of creative crossover concept that makes this entire line worth paying attention to. It’s a deep cut that rewards fans who know both franchises inside and out, and seeing it rendered as a painted prototype at the booth suggests Mattel is fully committed to mining the more inventive corners of this mashup concept rather than just slapping WWE paint on standard bodies. The Wave 1 figures looked great at WrestleMania and they continue to look great here, but it’s these prototypes that point to where the line is headed, and that direction feels genuinely ambitious.

The lineup spans the full Masters of the WWE Universe roster on display, with Bray Wyatt, Shawn Michaels, Cody Rhodes, and Hulk Hogan on the left side followed by the Kevin Nash and Scott Hall two-headed mashup, The Rock, and Demolition on the right. The right half of the shelf features painted prototypes with noticeably different finishes from the Wave 1 figures beside them, and that Rock sculpt with the Jericho-style armor and red fringe detailing is a great pull from the MOTU villain playbook.

Three versions of Demolition, Axe, Smash, and Crush, stand together wearing matching spiked shoulder armor with black straps running down the chest and studded belts at the waist. Each carries a different weapon, including a spiked mace, a large claw gauntlet, and a red trident-style piece, and all three share the same black studded mask with textured bumps across the surface.

Ax’s claw gauntlet has a wide, fan-shaped spread with individually sculpted fingers, and the black boots feature a double row of silver rivets running up the front. The spiked chest armor has a metallic finish on the spikes that contrasts nicely against the matte black center stripe.

Smash’s spiked chest armor has a center stripe with a darker metallic finish, and the studded wrist cuffs sit tight against the forearms with a clean row of rounded rivets. His war hammer has a squared-off head with sculpted detailing on the faces and a long cylindrical shaft.

Crush’s red eyes peer through the textured bumps of his black mask, and the spiked shoulder armor wraps high on the shoulders with sharp conical spikes that have a nice metallic sheen. He carries a large serrated blade weapon with an angular, asymmetrical design, and a second Demolition figure stands directly behind him.

The Rock’s chest armor features a sculpted Brahma Bull emblem in red, sitting center on the silver breastplate with riveted edges. Red fur detailing lines the collar and the lower skirt, and the Samoan-style tattoo work across both arms is dense with fine line detail.

Hollywood Hogan’s black “HOLLYWOOD” bandana sits over white sunglasses, and the head sculpt has that bleach-blonde goatee nailed. His black vest carries a bat emblem in white across the chest, and the knee pads, wrist cuffs, and white boots all land right for the nWo era look.

Shawn Michaels as Bow is a perfect mashup, with the broken heart emblem on the blue chest piece and blue goggles pushed up onto the blonde mullet. He carries Bow’s signature bow accessory, and the cape drapes behind the shoulders over the orange boots and blue tights with heart-themed knee deco.

Bray Wyatt’s Prince Adam mashup pairs the red open vest and light blue pants with a purple lantern and a small sculpted Abby figure in matching purple plastic, sitting right between his feet. That head sculpt captures the beard and long brown hair well, and the small gold buckle on the black belt is a nice touch.

Cody Rhodes wears silver battle armor with an American Nightmare winged skull emblem on the chest, and a wide ornate championship belt sits at his waist with intricate mechanical detailing across the face. The gold sword has a curved, tapered blade with a ridged crossguard, and those red wrist cuffs and red boot cuffs tie the whole red, white, and blue color scheme together.

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall share a single Two Bad-style body, with Nash’s long brown hair and sunglasses on one side and Hall’s slicked-back black hair and grin on the other. The nWo “too sweet” hand gesture connects their two distinct halves, Nash in red with the bat chest emblem and Hall in black and white with blue jeans and white knee wraps.

The Nash half of the Two Bad mashup gets a closer look here, with the brown hair sculpted in long flowing waves past the shoulders and dark sunglasses sitting tight on the face. The red open vest has a demon skull buckle at the center, and the studded black belt and black fringe detailing running down the red pants nail that MOTU villain aesthetic.

Hall’s Horde armor is the highlight here, with a black breastplate sporting a white bat emblem and jagged wing-shaped shoulder guards that flare up past the collar. The white pouch on his thigh has a sculpted jaw-like rim with teeth detailing along the edge, and the blue pants tuck into tall black boots with segmented knee guards.

The Two Bad-style torso buck sits between the two figures, showing how the shared body connects at the neck pegs, with two ball joints molded into the sculpted chest piece ready to accept both heads. The blue vest panels flap open on either side of the bare torso sculpt, and small belt pouches are molded at the waist where the two halves will meet.
