Hadouken! We’ve got some exciting news for Street Fighter fans today. Huge thanks to @spawntoys209 for posting these images of the new Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie figures found by @lehmonghausen which have been spotted at Walmart in a shipper display. It looks like the initial wave includes three characters, with Ryu and Chun-Li confirmed among them, and word is that Akuma and more could be coming in 2027! I always loved seeing toy companies tackle live-action movie designs, and it’s really cool to see Hasbro jumping into the Street Fighter arena alongside what Jada and Storm Collectibles have been doing for the franchise. Street Fighter fans have honestly been eating well lately when it comes to action figures, and having another option on the pegs at a mainstream retailer like Walmart is super exciting for collectors who want to grab these on sight without hunting specialty shops. The figures appear to be based on the upcoming Street Fighter movie, and while the styling is a little different from the game and cartoon accurate looks we’re used to seeing, I love how they capture the movie aesthetic in its own fun way. It’ll be interesting to see what the full lineup looks like as more characters roll out. Will we see Vega, Ken, or Bison join the roster? Only time will tell! So let’s take a look at the Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie figures!

Here’s a look at the Street Fighter figures showing up in Walmart stores, tucked into a dedicated shipper display. Here’s a closer look at the shipper display, and you can see the full assortment is just two characters deep: Ryu in both his classic white gi and a red variant, alongside two identical Chun-Li figures in her blue and white outfit. Each box includes what appears to be translucent energy effect accessories, with blue Hadouken-style blasts packed alongside Ryu and swirling blue ki effects next to Chun-Li.

You can see that the shipper case has a price of $27.97, what do you think of the price? Are these priced too high? You can see that the Street Fighter figures on a dedicated shipper display at the end of an aisle. You can see three figures stacked vertically in those bold orange and yellow boxes, and it looks like the assortment is limited to just Ryu, Chun-Li, and one other character from the upcoming movie.

You will see a photo here of the box spines lined up together, and I like how each character gets a unique color band at the bottom: red for Ryu, white for Ken, and blue for Chun-Li. The artwork takes a more realistic, movie-inspired approach to each character’s design, with Ken’s flowing blonde hair and Chun-Li’s braided updo and gold necklace standing out as distinctly cinematic interpretations.

Ryu

The box artwork features a painted portrait of Ryu in the lower corner, with fiery orange and red tones bleeding into a textured, splatter-style gradient that shifts from deep red at the bottom to warm yellow at the top. Through the window, you can see Ryu’s white gi with its torn sleeves and a translucent blue Hadouken effect piece packed alongside extra pairs of red-wrapped fists.

The back of Ryu’s box uses that same hot orange-to-yellow splatter treatment, with an illustration of him launching a Hadouken, the translucent blue fireball effect mounted on a small silver display stand beside him. The character lineup along the bottom confirms a pretty deep wave, with Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, M. Bison, Akuma, Blanka, and Dark Ryu all represented in small painted portraits.

Ken

Ken’s front-of-box presentation gives you a clear look at his full red gi, complete with torn sleeve edges, a black belt tied at the waist, and white hand wraps that extend past the wrists. Packed alongside him are a translucent red fireball effect piece, an alternate head with sunglasses, and what looks like a couple of extra hand options.

The back of Ken’s box features the same bold yellow and orange splatter design, with a stylized illustration of him mid-Hadouken, his red gi flowing as a translucent red fireball effect sits on a small stand beside him. Along the bottom, a lineup of thumbnail portraits teases the rest of the wave, including Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, M. Bison, Akuma, Blanka, and Dark Ryu.

Chun-Li

Chun-Li’s box gives you a good look at her classic blue qipao with gold trim detailing along the neckline and chest, paired with white boots and a white sash tied at the waist. Alongside her, a swirling translucent blue ki effect piece sits in the tray, and you can spot what looks like an extra pair of hands and gold spiked bracelets sculpted onto her wrists.

The back of Chun-Li’s box shows her in an illustrated mid-kick pose with a translucent blue lightning kick effect fanning out from her leg, mounted on a small silver display stand. I like how the character portrait lineup along the bottom gives you that same eight-figure roster, confirming she’s part of a pretty ambitious first wave.

Here’s a look at the bottom of one of the boxes, showing the barcode and standard regulatory markings on that same dark black packaging. Not much to see here beyond the fine print, but it confirms these are shipping under a Hasbro product code for anyone tracking inventory or hunting these down at Walmart.
