Mantenna Coming To New Eternia Etheria Masterverse Line

San Diego Comic Con 2025 is just around the corner, and we can expect to see some new Masterverse figures revealed. Hot off the heals new Masterverse preorders and news that Mosquitor is coming to the Masterverse line, and we’ve also found additional evidence that Mantenna will also be joining the New Eternia (or New Etheria) Masterverse line! With the branding of the 40th Anniversary Masterverse She-Ra figure as New Etheria, it remains to be seen whether the Evil Spy with the Pop Out Eyes will be branded New Eternia or New Etheria, but as of now, all we have to off of is a name. The New Eternia Masterverse line has been creating some amazing new designs, while capturing that classic essence of the characters. Knowing that Mantenna is indeed coming to the Masterverse line, since we don’t have any official images, we will take a look at the MOTU Classics Mantenna design for reference.

Mantenna MOTU Classics

Again, since we dont have any official images of the new Masterverse Mantenna yet, we will look at the MOTU Classics version to get an idea of what we might expect to see in this new figure. Mantenna was an exciting addition to the Masters of the Universe Classics line, that featured an extremely detailed sculpt and new buck that included 4 legs, which was a totally new design in the MOTU Classics line. This version of Mantenna did not however include the pop out eyes action feature with the typical lever that the vintage figure used. But rather he had an extra set of swap out eyes that were long extended ones that made it look like his eyes were popped out. So you have to choose how to display your Mantenna, regular eyes or pop out eyes. This was cool in some respects because some people liked to have the eyes permanently popped out on their display shelf. The head sculpt is especially stunning, as it really captured the vintage look of Mantenna which still allowing him to have both eye features. One of the standout features of Mantenna is his four legs, which visually recreates the vintage figure’s 4 legs effect while allowing each one to move individually instead of 2 together on each side. With the 4 legs feature, this figure sculpt introduced brand new parts for the MOTU Classics line, and allowed amazing poses for this figure. While his pop out eyes action feature is no longer functional, you can still choose which set of eyes to display him with. The figure also includes incredible details on his chest harness featuring the large Horde Bat just like the vintage Mantenna figure.
