Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade Limited Edition Figure

Mr. Home Arcade is coming out swinging with his limited-edition Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade Custom Figure, available to order right now from Toy STLKR for $110. His first limited-edition custom figure sold out, so seeing him follow that release with an Anti-Eternia figure is a huge deal, especially with everything included here. The figure comes with a Double Barrel Blaster and glow-in-the-dark blast effect, sword, axe, shield, five Collector Cards protected by hard plastic cases, a free mini comic, and an amazing cardback. The collector-friendly packaging also gets an additional clamshell plastic case, which I’m really happy to see with a limited custom like this. One out of every four purchases will include an unmasked Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade head as well. That extra head will obviously be the surprise everyone hopes to find, but this is already a ridiculously cool package without it. After the first figure disappeared really fast, I would not count on this Anti-Eternia release sitting around for long. Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade Custom Figure

The card gives Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade a wonderfully old-school Masters of the Universe presentation, right down to the oversized logo and yellow burst announcing the included Mini comic. Through the blister, his arcade-controller face and bulky white chest panel stand out against the black and red body, and the entire card comes protected by an additional clamshell plastic case.

The cardback has a really cool Castle Hellskull art presentation, with Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade facing off against Anti-Eternia He-Man. I love how much artwork they packed into the back of the card, making it feel more like a full comic-book cover than traditional figure packaging.

Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade will also come packaged inside a clear plastic clamshell protector to help protect the cardback.

Figure Details

There is absolutely nothing subtle about Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade, and I love it. The massive black body, bright white armor, metallic red details, enormous white beard, glowing red eyes, stars on his chest, arms and boots, and that completely ridiculous helmet all come together into one gloriously over-the-top Anti-Eternia figure. He looks like someone took every possible evil Masters of the Universe idea, turned the dial all the way up, and then broke the dial off.

From the back, Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade’s white armor becomes a broad mechanical panel with ribbed sections, a round gray port and toothed silver details at the waist. I really like the tiny reddish-brown laces on his black helmet, especially with the thick white hair spilling out beneath it.

The Double Barrel Blaster with blast effect gives Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade a ridiculous burst of pale translucent energy, nearly as long as the blaster itself and sculpted in a jagged explosion.

The Double Barrel Blaster and blast effect both glow in the dark, and that bright green glow looks especially cool on the blast effect.

Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade also comes with a large black double-bladed axe, and I really like how it looks with the figure. The all-black weapon fits his Anti-Eternia look perfectly.

The unmasked Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade head has swept gray hair, a matching mustache and a great grimacing expression, with black paint surrounding those tiny red eyes.

Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade has a squat, heavy build, with oversized rounded shoulders, forearms and thighs. Thick white cuffs and folded boot tops break up the otherwise black limbs.

Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade’s segmented white beard curls around a black mouth grille dotted with six raised white buttons, giving the masked head even more of that arcade-controller look.

Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade raises his sword and summons the power of Castle Hellskull! I love seeing him posed in front of the castle like this, looking like he’s ready to unleash whatever dark power is hiding inside.

With the power of Castle Hellskull behind him, Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade opens fire with the Double Barrel Blaster! The massive blast effect makes it look like he’s unleashing some serious Anti-Eternia firepower on anyone foolish enough to challenge him.

With the battle over, Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade finally removes his helmet to reveal the face underneath. Double Barrel Blaster still in hand and the helmet tucked under his arm, it looks like Castle Hellskull is officially his.

All 5 Collector Cards come in their own hard plastic case, with artwork ranging from bold character portraits to full action scenes.

Darkness and Deceit Mini Comic

The mini comic is titled “Darkness and Light,” with Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade front and center in black armor, glowing red eyes, and a huge white beard. He stands back-to-back with the original Mr. Home Arcade release, immediately setting up the light-versus-dark theme before the comic is even opened. To see the story, you’ll have to buy the figure so no spoilers here!
