Mr. Home Arcade Debuts His Own Custom Action Figure with Limited Availability

Mr. Home Arcade has officially stepped out from behind the camera and turned himself into an actual ACTION FIGURE!, and I have to say, as someone who spends a lot of time covering this hobby, this hits in a really fun and unexpected way. For anyone who follows his channel, you already know he’s built a reputation on honest reviews, getting figures early to share the love with the MOTU community, and he has a real connection to the collecting community, so seeing that passion translated into a physical figure feels like a monumental occasion, but also something you do not see every day. What really stands out to me here is how much thought went into the overall presentation because this is not just a figure tossed in a basic package, it comes housed in a plastic card sleeve that lets you remove and reinsert the figure while keeping that unopened look intact, and it is further protected inside a clamshell if you prefer to display it on the wall without disturbing anything. Inside, you are getting a solid loadout including a gun with blast effect, a minicomic, multiple sets of hands, and six collectible cards with bios, which immediately gives this release that classic toy line feel. On top of that, there is a chase element baked in with one out of four figures including an unmasked head, a themed accessory, and a special collector card, and I love that added layer for collectors who enjoy the hunt. To add to the mix, there is also an Anti-Eternia version and you will need to email MHA directly (details below). These figures will ship anywhere in the world, which is huge for collectors who do not want to miss out, and every single box is numbered and signed, with an added sticker calling out which customizer worked on the figure, including names like RBL3D, Secrets of Orko, MegaCustomX, Kenzo’s Creations, ALF_INFLIKT, and Mr. Home Arcade himself, which really reinforces that this is as much a community-driven project as it is a standalone release. It feels personal and it feels like something made by someone who truly understands what fans appreciate. This is one of those moments where supporting a content creator just makes sense, and Mr. Home Arcade always goes the extra mile for collectors, so now it’s our turn to show that support. In-Hand First Look & Impressions

I put my money where my mouth is and I picked this one up with my own money, so I’m all in here, and I’ve got to say it absolutely delivers. The paint apps are clean and sharp, and it just feels right in hand, like a piece you want to keep picking up. I was lucky enough to score the chase accessories too, and they really take it to another level. Mr Home Arcade Custom Figure is outfitted with a blue vest and mask featuring white star deco, with matching blue boots accented by orange and gold stripes. His accessories include a black submachine gun, a whiskey bottle, an orange translucent blast effect, a swap-out unmasked head with white hair, red sunglasses, and multiple interchangeable hands.

The accessory spread gives a closer look at the individual pieces. The orange blast effect has a nice layered sculpt with tendrils radiating outward, and the black gun has a chunky, ridged design that fits the vintage toy aesthetic well. Everything feels so premium in hand!

The included minicomic, titled “The Source of Customs,” features a cosmic-themed cover illustration of the character riding a futuristic vehicle through a starfield, with the artwork carrying that classic 1980s Masters of the Universe storybook look. A peek at the interior page shows colorful comic panels continuing the illustrated adventure. The quality and card stock is so amazing and it feels just as good as it will read! I am not posting the full mini comic so no spoilers today!

Mr Home Arcade Custom Figure Review 7

As a baseball card collector, I can appreciate the collector cards and the attention to detail! The protective top-loaders were a step above and beyond, each featuring hand-drawn artwork in a bold, colorful style that riffs on Masters of the Universe characters with humorous twists. The cards include titles like “Drunk He-Man,” “Moss Man,” “Anti Eternia Mr Home Arcade,” “Swagger,” “Mr Home Arcade,” and “Horde Monsters,” all framed with red and yellow borders that lean into that classic vintage card aesthetic.

The card artwork is done by Dan Oulton, with stories credited to Dan Oulton and Mr. Home Arcade across most of the set. Each card pairs its illustration with a dense block of character backstory text in a yellow panel, and the hand-drawn art has a loose, expressive quality that gives the whole set a real underground feel.

Alternate Unmasked Head and Extras

The chef’s kiss right here! I LOVE the look of the unmasked head sculpt, with its white swept-back hair and full beard giving the figure a grizzled, seasoned feel. We FINALLY know what Mr. Home Arcade looks like (joking of course!)!

Mr Home Arcade Custom Figure Review 5

By the Power of Jack Daniels! Mr Home Arcade holds a miniature whiskey bottle with a printed label that has an impressive amount of tiny detail for an accessory this size. The sculpt on the head shows a furrowed brow and a slightly open mouth with a great expression, and that white beard has a clean separation from the skin tone. This is such a fun way to celebrate Mr. Home Arcade!

Packaging and Extras

The card art features the classic Masters of the Universe styling with a deep rockburst backdrop, and the subtitle “Leader of the Cosmic Enforcers” sits beneath the character name. Mr. Home Arcade Limited Production Run Custom Figure 1a is sealed in a protective clamshell case over the card, with his blue and white star-patterned armor and helmet clearly on display through the blister.

The figure is sealed inside a clear plastic card sleeve that fully covers the carded back, and I like how it lets you slide the entire piece out clean without damaging anything. You can pop the figure out, handle it, and then slide it right back into the sleeve so it looks untouched again, which is a really smart setup for collectors who want both display and access. The bubble and card sit snug inside the sleeve, keeping everything aligned while still making it easy to remove and reinsert.

The card art on this piece leans heavily into the vintage Masters of the Universe illustration style, with a massive red creature towering over a chaotic battle scene full of familiar characters. I like the look of this particular artwork, with its warm, painterly tones and dense composition that feels pulled straight from an ’80s mini comic.

Our of the packaging, he is displayed here with the full spread of included extras, including six illustrated trading cards arranged in a grid below the figure. The cards feature colorful, comic-style artwork with various characters and scenes, each in protective cases.

Getting a closer look, Mr. Home Arcade stands alongside the included mini comic, titled “The Source of Shadows,” which features some great illustrated artwork of the character in full gear. His accessories include a blaster, blast effect, and extra hands.

The back of the mini comic reference insert shows four illustrated figures in the Masters of the Universe style, including Drunk He-Man, Mr. Home Arcade, Hust-Lor, and Flip-Or, each with humorous taglines beneath them. Several of the illustrated trading cards are displayed in individual protective cases surrounding the packaging

Speaking of collector cards, each sealed in its own hard plastic case, shows off vibrant hand-drawn artwork with a bold, retro illustration style. The cards feature a mix of character scenes with heavy color saturation in reds, yellows, and greens, and I like how Mr. Home Arcade laid them out to give a clear look at each one individually.

1 in 4 Chase

I’m looking at the bonus pack-in set and it’s a fun little add-on, with the unmasked head sculpt showing a white-haired portrait with a full beard and mustache, packed separately in a small clear bag. Next to it is that translucent amber liquor bottle, also bagged on its own, and I like how both pieces are kept clean and protected. Behind them sits the collector card, featuring illustrated artwork up top and a full character bio underneath, all held inside a rigid plastic protector.

Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade Limited Run

The standard release sticks with that red, white, and blue layout with star details across the chest, boots, and wrist guards, while the Anti-Eternia version flips the look with a black base body, red accents, and a white harness that really shifts the overall tone. The Anti-Eternia release is positioned as the harder one to get, only available directly through Mr. Home Arcade personally, which definitely makes that darker variant feel like the chase piece in the lineup. Email him directly at motucustoms@yahoo.com and he will handle your order personally! No word on how many figures are in the limited run so better hedge your bets and grab one!

Mr. Home Arcade Limited Production Run Custom Figure 8h

Looking at the card art side by side, the Anti-Eternia version on the left really leans into that darker Castle Hellskull vibe with a heavy black and red palette, jagged energy streaks, and that looming figure with glowing eyes pulling everything into a more intense, almost nightmarish direction. The standard release shifts gears with a brighter, more classic Eternia feel, using warmer tones and a wide battle scene that feels more open, with multiple characters clashing across the landscape. I like how the left card art feels more focused and ominous, while the right spreads things out into a larger, more traditional action scene.

Figure Details

Outfitted with a blue chest armor piece covered in white stars and horizontal stripe detailing, the figure carries a black blaster fitted with a translucent orange muzzle flash effect. His boots feature a nice blue and yellow color scheme with white star accents on the shin guards, and the bullet belt wrapped around his waist adds a fun little touch.

The open-hand gesture really sells this pose, and Mr. Home Arcade framed it nicely to show off the sculpted silver face mask with its red eyes and white hair flowing out from under the blue hood. I’m really digging the red and gold belt buckle detail, which catches the eye at this scale.

Mr Home Arcade Limited Run Custom Action Figure 2

The red trim on the wrist cuffs and boot tops ties the whole color scheme together, pulling the eye across the figure in a way that balances out all that blue. It’s cool to see how the yellow accents on the sandal straps and the small gold rivets on the belt echo each other from opposite ends of the figure.

Mr Home Arcade Limited Run Custom Action Figure 3

From the back, the circular red and gold medallion centered on the lower armor piece is a nice sculpted detail that wasn’t fully apparent from the front. The bullet belt wraps all the way around with individually sculpted rounds on each side, and the blue trunks have a pleated texture that adds some visual depth to the lower half of the figure.

Mr Home Arcade Limited Run Custom Action Figure 5

From the back, I’m really noticing how that blue armor plate runs down the spine with sculpted ridges that give it a layered, almost mechanical look, and it locks in with that circular red detail at the lower back. The straps come up over the shoulders and connect cleanly, while the belt wraps around with small painted segments that break up the color. Up top, the mask ties together with those crisscrossed laces running down the back, and I like how the white hair pushes out from underneath, fanning across the shoulders and adding some texture behind the head sculpt.
