He-Man and Sky Sled MOTU Core 2-Pack Information and Preorder
Hot off the press, and this one is a fantastic find! Massive thanks to Masterversal Toyhunter (on Instagram) for coming through with the discovery of what looks like one of the most fun entries in the new 5.5-inch scale Masters of the Universe movie line, a He-Man and Sky Sled 2-pack that pairs the hero of Eternia with his iconic aerial vehicle, all inspired by the upcoming 2026 Masters of the Universe film. This was not part of the reveals when Mattel pulled back the curtain on the MOTU Origins movie figures alongside new Chronicles and Barbie reveals, and now the puzzle pieces keep falling into place as more product surfaces for collectors and fans to dig into. This set features a 5.5-inch scale He-Man action figure sporting metallic armor details that give him a screen-accurate look, and the Sky Sled itself is loaded with play features including a button-activated blaster, three projectile missiles, and a windshield that lifts up to reveal blaster and missile storage underneath, which is the kind of thoughtful design touch that makes these vehicles feel like more than just a display stand with wheels. I love how Mattel is building out this line to encourage collectors and kids alike to recreate the battles of Eternia at home, and the fact that other 5.5-inch MOTU figures can also fit on the Sky Sled opens up a ton of display and play possibilities beyond just He-Man riding solo. The set is available for preorder now over at our affiliate partner Amazon, where it is listed at $24.99 with a ship date of July 1, 2025, so if you are looking to start building out your movie collection early, this is a great opportunity to lock one in. With the film on the horizon and Mattel clearly going deep on vehicles, creatures, and figures across multiple scales, it feels like we are watching a full Eternia ecosystem take shape in real time, and I can not wait to see what else is waiting in the wings.

He-Man and Sky Sled
He-Man comes equipped with his Power Sword, finished in a silvery metallic plastic, alongside a Sky Sled vehicle done in a deep blue with gunmetal grey accents. The Sky Sled includes three dark projectile missiles for its button-activated blaster, and the vehicle’s angular sculpt has a nice chunky, sci-fi look that fits the movie aesthetic well.

The Sky Sled has that angular, compact shape with a pointed nose up front and a layered body that steps back toward the engine section, and I like the way the darker blue panels contrast against the black components underneath. You can see the front stabilizer skis extended, giving it that hovering stance, while the side-mounted cannons run parallel along the lower edges. The seat sits slightly elevated behind the main body, with a small backrest and foot pegs positioned forward, and the rear section tapers into a blocky engine housing that keeps the overall silhouette tight and streamlined.

He-Man is seated on the Sky Sled here, with his sword stowed on his back and his brown leather-like armor and wrist cuffs contrasting nicely against the metallic blue of the vehicle. It’s cool they are making vehicles with projectiles. Looks like it is on a hinge, compared to the next photo.

Here is another shot of He-Man sits astride the Sky Sled with the hinged part lowered.

He-Man rides the Sky Sled with the windshield into its flight position, the canopy piece hugging close to the vehicle’s body and giving the sled a sleek, streamlined profile. One of the projectile missiles appears loaded and launched from the front blaster, showing off the firing feature in action.
