Clash at Snake Mountain Mattel Brick Shop Official Images and Preorder
Mattel has shared official images of the upcoming Mattel Brick Shop Masters of the Universe Clash at Snake Mountain Building Set, and this thing looks like it was designed with longtime MOTU fans in mind from the ground up. Available for preorder on April 25, 2026 on Mattel Creations at $54.00, this set gives collectors a buildable Snake Mountain lair that features a modular design with access to Skeletor’s throne room and what looks like a ton of movie details woven into the architecture. I love how they went all in on the NanoWorld figures here, packing in 12 of them in this set! The inclusion of lava and light burst special effects parts along with mid-air posing pieces means you can actually stage the eternal clash between Eternia’s greatest hero and its most dangerous villain right on your shelf, and that kind of dynamic presentation is exactly what sets something like this apart from a standard brick build. The fact that it’s compatible with other Mattel Brick Shop building sets and standard building brick brands opens the door for some seriously creative diorama setups down the line, whether you want to expand Snake Mountain or integrate it into a larger Eternia landscape. At that price point, this feels like Mattel hit the sweet spot between value and detail, giving collectors a substantial set without pushing into premium territory. If you’ve been eyeing the Mattel Brick Shop line and wondering when MOTU would get the treatment it deserves, this might just be the one that pulls you in. Feast your eyes on the official images below while we wait for the preorder!

Mattel Brick Shop Masters of the Universe Clash at Snake Mountain Building Set
The fully assembled Clash at Snake Mountain set towers with its massive gray serpent head, jaws open wide with a small blue figure perched inside the mouth, while translucent orange lava bricks and flame effect pieces are spread across the base platform. Scattered around the build, the twelve NanoWorld figures are displayed at various positions, and I’m really digging how much character they packed into figures this small.

The box art for the Clash at Snake Mountain set showcases a fully built Snake Mountain lair in dark gray and deep red bricks, with a massive serpent head looming over the structure and a large arched entrance leading into what appears to be Skeletor’s throne room. Twelve NanoWorld figures are displayed along the side of the packaging, including recognizable characters.

The side panel of the box gives a closer look at the modular design of the set, with inset photos showing the interior throne room section and the serpent head from a different angle. I like how they included callouts for the lava and light burst special effects parts.

Another angle of the box lays out the full spread of what’s included, with the assembled Snake Mountain build shown alongside all twelve NanoWorld figures.

The back panel highlights a few additional scene setups along the bottom, showing the NanoWorld figures posed throughout different sections of the build, including what looks like a battle scene near the serpent’s base with translucent lava effect pieces scattered around. Eight of the included figures are shown in individual portraits along the right side, and the variety in color and design across characters like Gygor, Karg, Spikor, and Pig Boy is impressive for figures this small.

A grid view spotlights all twelve NanoWorld figures included in the Clash at Snake Mountain set, each framed in their own portrait tile.

The rocky terrain section at the base features jagged gray brick formations with translucent orange lava pieces flowing between them, and the way those flame effect parts trail upward from the ground adds a nice sense of heat to the whole scene.

The NanoWorld figures are spread out in front of the completed Snake Mountain build here, and the scale difference between the tiny characters and that massive serpent head really sells how imposing the structure is. Translucent orange chain-like lava pieces draped across the rocky base section have a nice molten quality to them, connecting the jagged gray rock formations in a way that adds depth to the terrain.

He-Man squares off against Goat Man, Karg, and Spikor, with a large translucent blue light burst effect piece sprawling between them that has a really clean icy look to it. The lower scene shifts to the throne room interior, where Skeletor sits on his Bone Throne, a translucent green flame effect topping his Havoc Staff while figures like Pig Boy is near as a Skel-Knight escorts King Randor away!

A close-up of the serpent head shows the jaw hinged wide open, with deep red brick work lining the interior of the mouth and a glossy black dome piece forming the eye. Poor King Randow stands right on the lower jaw, and the size contrast between that tiny figure and the massive snake skull really sells the scale of this build.
