Hadoken! Street Fighter fans, boy are we thrilled to bring you our in hand look at two of the most iconic rivalry figures in gaming history. Hasbro has stepped into the ring with their new Street Fighter movie line, and we finally have Ryu and Ken in hand to show you every detail up close. We’ve been covering the new Street Fighter movie line with a lot of enthusiasm here at ToyHabits, and now that we finally have Ken and Ryu in hand, we can give you the full rundown on how these figures look and feel in person. I have always loved Street Fighter, from pumping quarters into the arcade cabinet as a kid to maining Ryu in every home console version I could get my hands on, so getting to hold these figures and put them through their paces is a dream come true. These 6-inch figures are built on that same amazing G.I. Joe Classified body style that collectors know and love, and the results are really cool. The sculpts capture the likeness of the actors from the upcoming 2026 Street Fighter movie, the articulation is super exciting for pulling off all those classic game poses, and the accessories including that hadoken blast effects are so much fun. I always loved the eternal rivalry between these two warriors, and seeing them side by side in hand just makes my collector heart sing. So let’s take a look at our Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ryu vs Ken in hand review!

Ryu squares off against Ken, and you can see how their glove colors perfectly mirror each other, with Ryu’s dark red wraps facing down Ken’s white and silver pair. Ken’s blonde ponytail has a nice wavy texture to it, with sculpted curls that separate him immediately from Ryu’s straighter, darker hair beneath the headband. Here’s a closer look at the front of the box, which features a warm yellow-to-red gradient with ink splatter textures that give the whole package a gritty, street-level vibe. The card art portrait of Ryu at the bottom captures his likeness to actor Andrew Koji, with a serious, composed expression beneath the signature red headband.

The side of the box features a bold yellow and orange design with red splatter effects that feel scrappy and fight-worn, paired with a realistic portrait of Ryu near the base showing his white gi and red headband. You can see how the window panel gives a clean profile view of the figure inside, with his red gloves and the frayed gi sleeves peeking through nicely.

The opposite side panel carries a similar fiery orange gradient with a more tightly cropped portrait of Ryu, his focused expression and dark brows framed by that red headband. I noticed that the tattered, frayed edges of his gi are emphasized in this artwork, with the black belt and red fingerless gloves popping against the warm tones of the packaging.

The back of the box showcases a large illustration of Ryu mid-kick with the Hadoken effect piece rendered alongside him in translucent blue, giving you a good sense of how the accessory pairs with the figure. The lineup along the bottom teases the rest of the wave, including Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, M. Bison, Akuma, Blanka, and Dark Ryu, each shown with their own small portrait against a fiery red backdrop.

Ryu comes with a solid spread of accessories nestled in the tray, including a pair of swap-out hands wrapped in red fingerless gloves, a translucent blue Hadoken effect piece with sharp, crystalline sculpting, and a clear plastic display stand. I like how the torn sleeves on his gi have that ragged, frayed texture at the shoulders, and the black belt has a nice sculpted knot that sits naturally against the white karate uniform.

Here’s a full layout of everything Ryu comes with, and it’s a nice, focused accessory spread. The two swap-out open hands sit at his feet alongside the Hadoken effect piece mounted on its clear stand, and the sculpt on those bare feet is worth noting, with individually defined toes and a natural spread that keeps him grounded.

Clad in his off-white gi with the sleeves torn away, you get a great sense of Ryu’s proportions here, and the subtle crosshatch sculpting along the gi’s collar adds a convincing fabric texture. The tattered hems at the ankles are a nice touch, with uneven, shredded edges that mirror the frayed shoulder detailing and tie the whole worn-out martial artist look together.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ryu vs Ken IH 13

From this side profile, you can see how Ryu’s gi drapes with a natural sense of weight, the collar folding over at the chest with a layered overlap that gives the uniform some real dimension. The sculpted toes grip the surface with a planted, grounded feel, and the dark red headband ribbon trailing behind his head adds a nice sense of motion even in a neutral pose.

From this side profile, the black belt’s knot sits just forward of center with a clean, tight wrap that pulls the gi closed without any bunching at the waist. The frayed hem at the ankle has a convincing irregularity to it, with some strands hanging lower than others, and the bare foot sculpt shows a subtle arch that keeps the figure’s weight distribution looking natural.

Here’s a closer look at Ryu from the back, and I like how the red headband trails down with two sculpted ribbon tails that hang naturally against the collar of his gi. The black belt wraps cleanly around the waist with fine horizontal line work in the sculpt, and those red wrist wraps pop nicely against his skin tone from every angle.

Ryu’s head sculpt does a great job capturing the Andrew Koji likeness, with sharp brow definition, a focused expression, and that sculpted red headband sitting cleanly over his dark, textured hair. The red fingerless gloves have a nice thickness to them, with individually sculpted finger wraps that give his fists some real weight.

The Hadoken effect piece is the real star here, with its swirling, layered energy sculpt in translucent blue looking fantastic mounted on the clear stand at just the right height to line up with Ryu’s cupped hands. Something I appreciate here is how the effect piece has concentric ring textures carved into its surface that suggest spinning motion, and the transparency lets light pass through it in a way that sells the energy blast.

Ryu’s profile really lets you appreciate the clean lines of his gi, and the way the torn sleeve sits naturally against the shoulder joint without interfering with the arm’s range of motion is a nice design choice. The clear stand positions the Hadoken effect piece perfectly at chest height, with its base staying unobtrusive enough that the energy blast feels like it’s floating freely between his open palms.

The packaging uses a gradient that shifts from golden yellow at the top down into a deep, fiery red at the bottom, with a textured, almost weathered finish across the cardboard that gives the whole box a gritty, worn-in feel. The lower portion features a stylized illustrated portrait of Ken with his fists raised, framed by the bold, angular Street Fighter typography.

The spine of the box carries a profile portrait of Ken in his tattered red gi, set against that warm golden-to-orange gradient, with his fingerless-gloved fist tucked close to his jaw. I like how they rendered his blonde hair pulled up in that messy ponytail, capturing the rougher, lived-in look from the film design.

You can see how this side of the box gives you a narrow window into the figure itself, with Ken’s red gi and white fingerless gloves peeking through the clear plastic tray. The jagged, torn-edge cutout framing the window is a nice design touch that ties into the rougher, battle-worn aesthetic of the packaging overall.

The back of the box features a large photo of Ken mid-kick alongside the translucent red Shoryuken flame effect on its display stand, all set against that same golden-to-red gradient. A lineup of character portraits along the bottom teases the rest of the wave, including Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, M. Bison, Akuma, Blanka, and Dark Ryu.

Here’s a closer look at everything you get inside the tray. Ken comes with an alternate hair piece fitted with blue sunglasses, a translucent red Shoryuken flame effect, two extra pairs of swap-out hands in white fingerless gloves, and a clear display stand.

Ken’s full accessory spread is laid out here alongside the figure, and it’s nice to see everything together outside the tray. The Shoryuken flame effect has a gorgeous translucent red with an almost crystalline texture throughout, and it sits securely on the clear stand at a height that lines up naturally with his fists.

Ken’s face sculpt has a serious, focused expression with thick, dark eyebrows and a strong jawline that does a solid job capturing the actor’s likeness from the film. His blonde hair falls in loose, feathered waves past his shoulders, with darker roots sculpted near the part that add a subtle, natural touch.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ken IH 9

From this side profile, the torn sleeves of Ken’s gi reveal a clean shoulder joint cutline that blends surprisingly well with the ragged fabric sculpt around it. I noticed that the black belt has a subtle knot with trailing ends sculpted on the side, a small detail that adds a lot of character to an otherwise simple accessory.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ken IH 8

From this side profile, you can really appreciate how Ken’s blonde hair has that thick, textured curl pattern cascading down past his ears, with each wave individually sculpted. The white fingerless glove includes a small brown wrist strap with a sculpted buckle detail that I hadn’t noticed until turning the figure to this angle.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ken IH 6

Here’s a closer look at the back of the figure, and the sculpt work on Ken’s gi continues all the way around with stitching lines running down the center of the back panel and those ragged, torn armholes showing off the shoulder articulation cleanly. The pant legs carry the same tattered, uneven hemline from the front, and you can just make out the bare feet sculpted underneath.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ken IH 7

Clad in his tattered red gi with the sleeves completely torn away, Ken’s outfit has a great weathered texture sculpted into the fabric, with frayed edges along the collar and down the pant legs. The white fingerless gloves have a snug, wrapped look to them, and the black belt cinched at the waist provides a sharp color break against all that red.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ken IH 2

Ken’s alternate head sculpt swaps in the blue wraparound sunglasses, and they sit perfectly flush against his face with a nice glossy finish that contrasts the matte skin tone. I like how the blonde hair on this piece has a looser, shaggier sweep to it compared to what we saw on the box art portrait.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ken IH 4

Sporting the translucent red Shoryuken flame effect on its clear stand, you can see how the effect piece catches a warm, candy-like glow with its swirling, organic sculpt that almost looks like a fireball frozen mid-burst. Ken’s barefoot sculpt is worth noting here too, with individually defined toes and a natural arch that gives the feet real sculptural weight.

Ken vs. Ryu

Here are some fun shots of Ken and Ryu squaring off in a classic Hadouken duel. Ken’s red translucent fireball effect is massive, with sculpted flame tendrils radiating outward from a spherical core, while Ryu’s blue version sits just behind, each mounted on its own clear stand.

Ken Vs Ryu Street Fighter The Movie IH 1

You can see how the red and cream gi colors play off each other perfectly when these two are displayed together, with Ken’s tattered sleeves and Ryu’s red headband tails adding just enough asymmetry to keep things interesting. The sculpted wraps on Ryu’s hands and feet contrast nicely against Ken’s white fingerless gloves, and both figures share that same barefoot sculpt with individually separated toes.

Ken Vs Ryu Street Fighter The Movie IH 2

Ken’s face sculpt is worth calling out here, with a clean, confident expression and those blue-tinted sunglasses perched on his forehead adding a cocky, movie-accurate detail that Ryu’s more stoic look doesn’t have. The translucent blue Hadoken effect piece floating between them on its clear stand creates a natural focal point for the rivalry scene, its swirling energy catching your eye right at the center of the matchup.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ryu vs Ken IH 8

Ryu and Ken are going at it, and the collision of their kicks makes for a great rivalry moment between the two eternal sparring partners. I like how the tattered ankle hems on both gis catch some real texture as the legs extend, with Ryu’s off-white and Ken’s crimson creating a satisfying color clash at the point of impact.

Hasbro Street Fighter The Movie Figures Ryu vs Ken IH 2

Ken stands over a downed Ryu here, and the moment really sells the rivalry, with his silver fingerless gloves and that black belt creating sharp contrast against the crimson gi. I like how Ryu’s bare feet and open-handed reach add some desperation to the scene, and the cream-colored gi pants on both figures pick up the same tattered hem detailing at different stages of wear.
