Holy smokes, Batman! McFarlane Toys just dropped a really cool announcement and we are super excited about this one. Huge thanks to @mcfarlane_toys_official on Instagram for revealing this amazing new 2-pack featuring Batman and Robin from the Batman Classic TV Series! The McFarlane Collector Edition set launches for preorder on August 25th at select retailers and comes packed with accessories including 6 extra hands, an alternate Batman head portrait, 2 batarangs, a Batradio, a bust with a hidden switch, and 2 art cards. I mean, how cool is that?! I always loved the 1966 Batman series and there’s just something timeless about Adam West and Burt Ward in those iconic costumes. The bright colors, the fun gadgets, the earnest heroics, it all just radiates pure joy. Getting these two together in a single set at 7″ scale with that kind of accessory lineup is really exciting for fans of the show. That Batradio and the bust with the hidden switch are such fun deep cut inclusions that really speak to the spirit of the classic series. This is going to be one to watch on preorder day, so mark those calendars for August 25th and be ready to go. We also got to get an early look at the packaging and included accessories! If you can’t wait to get this until August 25th, you can try your hand at picking this up early on the aftermarket HERE! So let’s take a look at the Batman and Robin Batman Classic TV Series McFarlane Collector Edition 2-pack!
Where to Buy
You can preorder the figures at the following retailers below

Batman’s grey suit has a nice satin-like finish that contrasts well against the deep navy of his cape, which drapes with a soft fabric weight that gives it real presence. Robin’s red tunic shows sculpted lacing detail down the front, and his yellow cape catches a nice sweep behind him, lighter and shorter than Batman’s to match the character’s smaller frame.

Packaging First Look
We got a sneak peek at the packaging and boy is it wild! The packaging for this Batman and Robin two-pack features a wild, comic book-inspired backdrop covered in colorful onomatopoeia like “RAKKK,” “CRASH,” and “GUSH,” perfectly capturing the campy energy of the Classic TV Series. Nestled inside the window box, you can spot extra accessories including an alternate unmasked head, what looks like a Bat-radio, and a small Shakespeare bust between the two figures. I like how the insert art leans into the campy spirit of the 1966 series, setting the tone before you even open the box. Batman’s classic grey and blue suit with the yellow utility belt and oval bat-symbol looks faithful to Adam West’s iconic look, and you can see the alternate unmasked Bruce Wayne head tucked into the tray alongside a Batradio and batarangs. Robin’s green, red, and yellow costume captures the Burt Ward era right down to the domino mask and scalloped cape, with a small bust accessory seated between the two figures that houses the hidden switch.

Here’s a closer look at the packaging in person, and the window gives you a really clear view of everything inside. I noticed that both figures include green accessories that appear to be some kind of gas effect pieces, along with what looks like a small phone or communicator tucked between them.

Robin’s red tunic has a great sculpted texture, with those yellow lacing loops running down the front adding a distinctly vintage feel that matches the ’66 show costume. The black domino mask sits cleanly against the Burt Ward likeness, and that yellow collar has a nice subtle sheen to it.

Something I appreciate here is the Adam West headsculpt, which carries a lot of that square-jawed, no-nonsense likeness right down to the slightly furrowed brow peeking out from under the cowl. The dark blue cowl and cape have a soft, fabric-like texture in the sculpt, and that yellow oval bat emblem on his chest pops beautifully against the gray of the suit.

You can see how the unmasked Dick Grayson head sculpt really nails the Burt Ward likeness, from the brown swept-back hair to the slightly arched brows and that clean-cut jawline. The card art behind him is packed with those classic pop-art sound effects in greens, yellows, and pinks, giving the whole presentation a ton of personality.

Here’s a closer look at that Shakespeare bust, and the bronzed metallic finish on it is really impressive for such a small piece. The facial features, the receding hairline, the collar detail, even the sculpted pedestal base all have a surprising amount of definition packed into an accessory this size.

The back of the box features a great photographic collage using stills from the Classic TV Series, with Adam West in the full Batman cowl and suit alongside Burt Ward as Robin in his iconic green, red, and yellow costume. I like how they went with actual show imagery here instead of illustrated art, letting the real-life costumes and set pieces do the talking.
