Battle Armor Skeletor New Eternia MOTU Masterverse Box & Art Reveal Teases Snake Men & Evil-Lyn

Roy Juarez continues the Masterverse box and art reveals for Masterverse Wave 14 and today the spotlight is on New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor. This rounds out the last of the Masteverse Wave 14 box and art reveals. Over the last few days, the talented MOTU illustrator has revealed the Masters of the Universe Revolution Man Of War, Sorceress Teela and the New Eternia Mer-Man box and art and they the final reveal does not disappoint with New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor! Today we see New Eternia Mer-Man in all of his glory! Although this is our 3rd Mer-Man in the Masterverse line, he has been given New Eternia treatment, which pays homage to his classic styling. The great thing about this package reveal is that it teases a Masterverse Reptilax in addition to other Snake Men!

July 14, 2024: Battle Armor Skeletor Official Box Art Reveal

Roy Juarez revealed the amazing digital art and official box for the New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor Masterverse figure, featuring the amazing artwork from @simoneckert.art. He said in his Instagram post, “A closer look at the artwork and packaging for the upcoming Masterverse New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor.”

In this scene, we can see Skeletor surrounded by an army of Snake Men, including Reptliax. Evil-Lyn is also in the scene as we are expecting the New Eternia version to be part of the next wave of Masterverse figures, along with Fisto and Flying Fists He-Man. King Hiss is also looking on from his throne and this overall scene is just spectacular.

Up close we can see all of the Snake Men and the details on the Battle Armor Skeletor illustration. The slash that is taken out of his chest plate is a nod to the vintage style Battle Armor Skeletor figure and you can see some chainmail armor around his loin cloth.

The details are absolutely stunning as the Rams horns are integrated into his helmet and you can see some dents and wear in his helmet.

New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor looks awesome packed in his box with the right side art panels wrapping around to the front of the box to frame the figure. We can see his large axe packed to his left in the nice window display.

Here is how the digital art looks on the side panel and we can also see the figure at the forefront with a digital art scene of lava pit.

The front of the package includes a stunning illustration of New Eternia Skeletor in his Battle Armor gear battling against none other than Reptilax! Yes folks, we have a tease for a Masterverse Reptilax figure! The rear of the package includes an illustrated image of Battle Armor Skeletor, and also features cross sell of the rest of the wave, including Man of War Duncan, New Eternia Mer-Man, and Snake Sorceress Teela.

The sides of the box are also adorned in beautiful artwork as well! You can see on the left side a full illustration of Battle Armor Skeletor in all his baddie glory!

Here we have the hi-res version of the front of the package art work illustration with New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor. You can see a portion of Reptilax’s shield in the bottom right corner of the illustration!

Reptilax Tease

Reptilax is another figure Axel designed using a character who appeared in the vintage mini-comics. And he’s also appeared in Origins materials – both on Kol-Darr’s card and in the Camo Khan comic as well as the card art. However, other than parts from He-Man and King Hiss, he requires parts from Tuvar (Two Bad has been teased but yet to be released and Laser Light Skeletor plus he uses parts from Fang Man. So we might now be getting him in the Masterverse line!

Battle Armor Skeletor Preorder

Skeletor’s battle armor is a sight to behold! Now this is a way to clad a figure and truly call it battle armor. His removable Ram’s head helmet pays homage to his havoc staff, which is conspicuously missing but his extra weapons more than make up for it. In a mostly purple toned battle armor, Skeletor knows how to step into war in style! The oversized, spiked shoulder armor make his presence massive. The black ribbing on the front of the armor resembles bones and come to together to meet a silver skull in the center of his chest. Like previous versions of battle armor figures, the plates are removable. He comes with a large sword and a hefty axe to wield, which puts him on even ground while sparring with Battle Armor He-Man and his axe.
