Every time we think the MOTU Chronicles conversation has hit a pause, something pulls us right back in, and this time it is a big one. With all the recent Chronicles news, speculation around preorder timing, and the flood of movie figure reveals, it feels like the line is starting to take real shape, and now we have another major piece of the puzzle thanks to Roy Juarez, who has just revealed the hi res art work and packaging with art by @simoneckert.art for the upcoming Battle Cat Masters of the Universe movie figure. Seeing Battle Cat enter the Chronicles packaging lineup instantly connects the dots between everything we have been tracking so far, from He Man and the core characters to how Mattel is visually positioning this movie line on shelves. Roy shared the reveal along with copy that perfectly sums up why Battle Cat is such an essential part of the story, reminding us that Cringer may look like Prince Adam’s pet, but once the Sword of Power is raised and the Power of Grayskull is called upon, he transforms into the mighty Battle Cat, charging into action alongside the Masters of the Universe against Skeletor. That classic transformation and loyalty are baked right into the presentation here, and it is exciting to see how Chronicles is leaning into that mythology while still framing this as part of the movie figure lineup. He Man is shown riding Battle Cat, gripping the Sword of Power in his right hand while seated firmly in the saddle, with his left hand resting forward as if guiding the charge. He wears a brown harness with a red cross emblem at the center, fur briefs, wrist bracers, and boots, all rendered with layered texture and sculpted straps that read clearly even in motion. He Man is seated atop Battle Cat with the Sword of Power held outward, wearing the brown chest harness with the red emblem, fur briefs, bracers, and boots, and this is another image that originally surfaced during the Entertainment Weekly drop.

The box uses a wide window layout that shows Battle Cat positioned on his side inside a formed tray, with the body filling most of the interior space. The side panel features illustrated artwork of Battle Cat in killer pose, while the figure itself is secured with clear ties to keep everything in place!

The back panel is dominated by the same key artwork of He Man riding Battle Cat that we have already covered, stretched across most of the surface to anchor the presentation. Smaller inset images are arranged to one side to show alternate looks, while a short block of text sits near the top, keeping the layout clean and balanced without overcrowding the artwork.

This angle shows how the box wraps the display window around the front corner, allowing a partial side view of Battle Cat inside. The side panel is fully devoted to character artwork, giving the packaging a strong visual break from the clear window and creating a nice contrast between the illustrated pose and the way the figure is packed within the box.

This side keeps the design pared back, with a large clear window that wraps around from the front and gives a clean view into the tray. A small rectangular art panel and simple text elements break up the space, letting the transparency do most of the work while still tying it visually to the rest of the box.
