The Mattel Creations exclusive Camo Khan card back is FILLED to the brim with amazing character, creature and playset teases! You can see the incredible world of Preternia illustrated on the back of Camo Khan’s card back. We can see Laser Light Skeletor along with the recently announced Snake Mountain in the background. We see the host of Powers of Grayskull characters from the front card art as well. Here we see King Hiss illustrated again sitting on a throne with a host of other henchmen. Also Camo Khan is shown coming thru a magical portal with Terroar and Lord Gr’asp, approaching Laser Power He-Man and Moss-Man. Prominently featured on the Camo Khan card back artwork are a ton of Powers of Grayskull characters. We are now several years into the line, and maybe it’s about time we dive deeper into this exciting subline. A line that only had a few characters produced back in 1988, was never fully developed by Mattel because the line’s popularity was dying out by then. It included fantastic new characters, giants and the world of Preternia filled with robotic dinosaurs! It would be a dream come true if Mattel were to build out the Powers of Grayskull line!

November 29, 2022 UPDATE: Card Art and Video
Special thanks for Roy Juarez (aka manuel_eduardo_caritas) from IG for posting a cool video and card art digital images for the upcoming Camo Khan Mattel Creations figure!

Camo Khan
Camo Khan breeds evil into our MOTU line. Inspired by the popular Kobra Khan Camuflado collectible figure from 1987 released in Argentina, we’re bringing this sly villain back. Enchanted by Skeletor, Camo Khan has new powers of camouflage, a more potent hypnotic mist, and the mystical Golden Claws of Crushing. Harness his new powers with swappable hands, heads, weapons, and a spray accessory.
- Inspired by the 1987 MOTU action figure released in Argentina
- Stands 5.5 inches tall
- 16 points of articulation for menacing displays
- Comes with multiple hands, heads, weapons, and a spit-spray mouth accessory

Mattel Creations Exclusive Camo Kahn SDCC 2022 Reveal
This new Camo Khan Figure looks absolutely amazing! Collector friendly where you can slide out the card and unfold it into a trifold card which reveals a really nice diorama. The trifold card features the backstory on Camo Kahn and how he came into the Masters of the Universe. The card also sports the Rise of the Snake Men Origins theme, which is the first card art to feature this (#spoileraltert)! Camo Kahn was a variant that came with lobster hands like Clawful. He has his regular vintage style head that we all know from Kobra Khan and also the flared Cobra head that we first saw from the Masters of the Universe Classics line two swappable heads.

Camo Khan comes with the following
- Green Mace that is VUM
- Orange blaster
- Extra set of hands to reflect the more vintage looking style
- Water effect: In order to maintain the customizability of the figure that Origins is known for. There is a hole in the MOTU Classics and standard head where the water effect piece fits into.

We also want to thank Pixel Dan for covering the 2022 SDCC MOTU Origins panel, where got the images below.

Card Art
With absolutely stunning artwork by Axel Gimenez, the Camo Khan cardback features all sorts of exciting MOTU characters. We can see Lazer Light Skeletor in the background, along with a host of Powers of Grayskull characters. We have Megator, King Hiss riding the Tyrantisaurus Rex. We can also see Tung Lashor who was also teased to be coming to the Origins line! King Grayskull is riding Bionatops, and as we saw on the Eternia display, there was an Origins version of King Grayskull as well! Then we see teases of Moss Man and Sharella, as we covered in Wun-Dar Card Art Teases New MOTU Origins Characters. Also pictured is Eldor, Squeeze and Tytus as well! There are so many characters here that we have either predicted thru previous card art teases or haven gotten leaks on, so it is very exciting to see these characters on this artwork!

History of Camo Khan
The origins Camo Khan interestingly enough was never part of the original Mattel Masters of the Universe line, but really a version of Kobra Khan by the Argentinian toy maker Top Toys!
According to the battleramblog.com:
Interestingly, there was a version of Kobra Khan that did have the snake symbol on his chest– a variant made by Argentinian manufacturer Top Toys, called Kobra Khan Camuflado. Known as Camo Khan to many fans today, the figure had a green and black camouflage style paint job, gold boots and belt, and strangely, Buzz-Off’s clawed arms. He was given Clawful’s green mace as a weapon.

MOTU Classics Camo Kahn
If that wasn’t enough, Mattel released a Masters of the Universe Classics version of Camo Khan as a Power-Con 2016 exclusive!
