Cartoon Collection MOTU Origins Figures Coming To Retail

The inaugural six figures from the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection have been revealed in early October 2023 and they are already up for preorder on Entertainment Earth and Big Bad Toy Store, and Amazon (Man-At-Arms). Given that MAttel anniunced that the Cartoon Collection would be coming to retail, seeing the figure assortment reinforces and confirms this! Don’t get us wrong, the comms for the Cartoon Collection and the “Vintage” MOTU Origins have collectors confused. The Cartoon Collection will be coming to retail while the “Vintage” MOTU Origins line will be finished out on Mattel Creations. For those who are not confused, this should not be a surprise but the UPC’s for the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection have scanned up in Target and are in their database, waiting to go live. When the figures will actually show up on the Targrt website is still a mystery as the retailer with the red bullseye is typically one of the last online retailers. Even Walmart has the Cartoon Collection He-Man and Beast Man up for purchase via 3rd party seller but sometime in the near future, we should see them at regular price. Having the Cartoon Collection assortment scan up at Target should be good news for collector’s who like the thrill of the hunt and who buy their figures in person! The individual figures are not scanning up as separate DPCI codes at the Target kiosk just yet but the code that scanned up is for the figure assortment.

Cartoon Collection He-Man on Walmart
Back on October 18, 2023, we discovered the Masters of the Universe Wave 11 figure assortment on the Walmart website! As the behemoth brick and mortar and online retailer is slow to get these figures online, we did come across the Cartoon Collection MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection wave 1 figures on the site. Cartoon Collection He-Man and Cartoon Collection Beast Man‘s product pages are on the Walmart website. Since the Masters of the Universe Origins Cartoon Collection waves are being released two per wave, they are also sharing the limelight with the the Fan Favorite reissues are also hitting collectors at the same time. For all intensive purposes, the Cartoon Collection Beast Man and He-Man make up Wave 1 to kick off this line and the Fan Favorite reissues Mer-Man and She-Ra will be released along side them. We have located the Fan Favorite Mer-Man figure on the Walmart website but the listing for She-Ra is for the first release back in 2021. It’s only a matter of time before we locate She-Ra on Walmart but she is already up for preorder on Amazon, Entertainment Earth, and Big Bad Toy Store.
