Commander Appo and Darth Vader were announced as part of Target’s Summer Geek Out 2023 Week 5 & will go up for preorder July 14, 2023 @9am ET
Target Summer Geek Out 2023 is in full swing and they came out with a bang during the first week, where they revealed Masterverse preorders with Slush Head and New Eternia Whiplash and MOTU Origins reveals with the new Rulers of the Sun 3-Pack. It’s been a bit quiet over the last few weeks as Target has been releasing figures we don’t cover. As part of the Target’s Summer Geek Out 2023, Hasbro will be putting up two amazing figures for preorder starting on July 14, 2023, which corresponds to week #5. Hasbro announced the The Black Series Commander Appo and The Black Series Darth Vader (Duel’s End) paying homage to their appearances in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series. Both Vader and Appo will be available to pre-order on July 14th, 2023, starting at 9AM ET and will be available exclusively at Target in the USA.

A Clone Trooper in service to the Galactic Republic, Appo participated in several critical battles against the Separatists. He accompanied Anakin Skywalker to Coruscant’s Jedi Temple as part of Order 66. Fans and collectors can display this fully articulated figure featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes figure and 3 entertainment-inspired accessories including a removable helmet.
CC-1119, nicknamed “Appo,” was a clone trooper officer who served as a Clone Sergeant and later as a Clone Commander in the 501st Legion during the Clone Wars. As a soldier in military service to the Galactic Republic, Appo was a veteran of several major battles fought between the Grand Army of the Republic and the droid armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems including Umbara at the height of the galactic conflict, and on the Republic capital world of Coruscant by the war’s end.
He was a loyal trooper who obeyed the orders of his commanding officer, conditioned to render unquestioned allegiance to the Republic.
