Despara Official Images

The figure comes packed in a sharp New Eternia Masterverse box that immediately pulls me in with that dramatic artwork showing her armored design in full swing as Despara, and seeing the actual figure inside feels just as striking. Looking closer, the she wears a gray and red outfit with crisp sculpted panel lines and a bold Horde emblem across the chest, plus a clean portrait with blonde hair that contrasts nicely against the darker tones of her armor. She also includes her mask packed to her left.

The figure features Adora in her Despara armor with metallic silver and deep red paneling that carries a sharp Horde design across the chest. The accessories include two alternate head sculpts, one showing her classic blonde hair and another masked, Despara, version with red accents and black horns, plus a silver sword with a red hilt matching the Horde emblem.

The figure is shown with twin swords raised high, and I love how the sharp red and silver armor plates catch the light as she moves. The masked head sculpt brings a fierce energy to the scene while the flowing black cape trails behind her, giving me a great look at how it drapes across her back. Spinning her around reveals the unmasked portrait framed by that metallic helm, and the segmented skirt armor, red gauntlets, and tall boots all stay sharp as she shifts into a new pose, really showing off the range of motion.

The figure shifts into her alternate portraits with a clean, confident look, and I’m really liking how the blonde hair sculpt frames her face while the armor still sits snug around the red and silver chest piece. Dropping the gear entirely transforms her into Adora, and seeing her in the simpler red outfit with the high-cut design and gold accents gives me a great sense of how versatile this release is. The streamlined torso and bare arms bring out the sculpted musculature, and the bright red boots and gauntlets tie both looks together while showing just how smoothly she transitions between identities.

SDCC 2025 Reveal

Despara makes her powerful Masterverse debut in the New Eternia line, bringing the darker side of Adora’s legacy into sharp focus. Clad in crimson and silver Horde armor, her sculpt is sleek and battle-hardened, with layered plate detailing, a flowing black cape, and twin swords that hint at her dual nature. The figure includes multiple display options, featuring an alternate head with her Horde mask and another with her flowing blonde hair, capturing both her masked enforcer persona and the conflicted warrior within. With additional interchangeable hands, Despara stands as a striking fusion of elegance and ferocity, expanding the Masterverse mythos with a fan-favorite character long overdue for plastic form.

Octavia Tease

A surprising tease was to see Octavia, who appeared in the Princess of Power Filmation cartoon but was never made in the Princess of Power vintage line! Octavia is an octopus woman from Octopus Cove. She is the Horde-Commander. She is a sea commander in a sea port in The Sea of Sigh, a small Etherian ocean. When she first confronts She-Ra, Octavia easily captures She-Ra in her tentacles. She also demonstrates, with ease that she can capture a talented fighter like Sea Hawk, when captured by Octavia, Sea Hawk appears to be drained of energy, suggesting that Octavia has abilities similar to Leech, and she can drain energy from her opponents. Here is the MOTU Classics version for your reference.

Her figure buck would be very unique with the tentacles coming out her back! She was released in figure form in the MOTU Classics line and that version came with 4 swords, where we are guessing the inspiration for the weapons came from.
