Walmart Collector Con July 2024 Preorders

Walmart Collector Con, the mega online retailer’s twice per year virtual con, will be coming in July 2024. Right smack dab in the middle of San Diego Comic Con 2024, the July 2024 edition of Walmart Collector Con will be happening on July 25 and July 26, 2024! If you recall, the March 2024 Walmart Collector Con saw some amazing figures go up for pre(cancel)order only to sell out in mere seconds to bots! We don’t think Walmart has addressed this issue so your fingers better be faster than the bots so you can preorder the toys you love! We are likely going to see preorders for some lines that are exclusive to Walshart, like the WWE Superstars line, GI Joe Classified Series Night Force figures, Star Wars, Turtles of Grayskull, and any MOTU Origins figures that could be Walmart exclusives. We try and predict what will go up for preorder and this is no different. We are also adept at discovering the links to figures that will be going up for preorder ahead of time so we’ve collected the info here!

Walmart Collector Con Confirmed and Speculated Products
A huge surprise coming from Walmart Collector Con 2024 with the Night Force Falcon and Quarrel GI Joe Classified Series 2-pack, bringing a new figure to the line! The Night Force GI Joe Classified Series subline is a Walmart exclusive and this set is mostly a repaint and repack of figures that have been previously released. It looks like they “fixed” Falcon’s head sculpt and they added a new head sculpt for Quarrel using Scarlett’s buck with some modifications to the armor. We thought this figure set was teased in the Iron Grenadier dio shots but they are totally different so we have more Night Force figures to look forward to! This Night Force Falcon and Quarrel GI Joe Classified Series 2-pack is awesome and it will surely build up for Classified Series display!
New to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line, Night Force Vincent R. “Falcon” Falcone & Quarrel come ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability. This Falcon figure contains character-inspired accessory pieces including alternate helmeted head, backpack, 2 flashlights, knife, night-vision goggles, and multiple weapon accessories; plus a new face sculpt and his signature beret. The Quarrel figure comes with character-inspired accessory pieces including alternate helmeted head, alternate hands, 2 knives, crossbow with 4 bolts, and multiple weapon accessories.
Dio Shots
We can see some amazing dio shots with Falcon and Quarrel and they look amazing all geared up!
Quarrel was available in the United Kingdom and Europe in 1983 from the Palitoy toy company. She was available packaged with the Action Force Z-Force Rapid Fire Motorcycle – a repaint of the American release of the RAM. She looks amazing and it’s awesome they are doing more international variants! You can also see them with their helmets on in this cool mountain recon scene.
Surrounded by Mole Rats, Falcon and Quarrel can make quick work of them!

Horde Trooper Prime & Hover Bot
According to anonymous sources, the Masters of the Universe Origins Horde Trooper Prime and Hover Bot set will be a first to market Walmart exclusive. I am sure this news will be upsetting to most collectors but we expect the deluxe MOTU Origins set to go up for preorder during the July 2024 edition of Walmart Collector Con. If you are not familiar with the term, first to market, it means that Walmart will get to sell the set first for an unknown period of time and, after that time expires, the set can be sold by other online retailers. Previews for Walmart Collector Con start on July 18, 2024 so hopefully we will get to see the Walmart product listing. Speaking of which, we discovered the UPC for the Masters of the Universe Origins Horde Trooper Prime and Hover Bot set during a routine recon trip to our local Walmart. The UPC matches up with the in-hand images from the one and only Mr. Home Arcade.
If you scan the barcode for Horde Trooper Prime with the Walmart app, it now shows that there is a product page but the listing is now showing.

TMNT 1988 Classic Remastered
Thanks again to M Smith on Instagram for posting official product images of the 4 turtles. Now we can really see their pack out and the roof top diorama accessories they come with. Leonardo comes with his katana blades in silver with blue hand grips, classic hand daggers and throwing stars. Leo also comes with a large silver bladed device and a sky light dio piece. RRaph comes with his Sais in silver with red hand grips, a crazy two sides axe mace thing in silver with a large red hand grip and classic hand daggers and throwing stars. Raph also includes a chimney piece for the rooftop diorama. Donatello comes with his classic bo staff with a purple hand grip, and also comes with a silver bo and chained mace ball with a purple hand grip, and the same classic hand daggers and throwing stars. He also includes a roof vent. Mikey comes with his classic Nunchucks in silver with orange handles and real chains!! He also includes a roped two sided sickle as well. In Package Images
Here we can finally see the Classic Remastered 1988 TMNT Playmates Figures in their respective packages. Similar to what they did for the sketch Turtles, rather than coming packed on a card back and blister bubble, these new Classic Remastered 1988 TMNT Playmates Figures come packaged in a box with a window display. Thanks again to M Smith TMNT on Instagram for posting these images, and we don’t know where they got these.
Looking at the packaging, you can see a new 40 years of TMNT logo that is currently being used on some of their Classics reissues currently hitting store shelves. Also, they included the classic colored brick motif and illustrations of the 4 Turtles along the corners of the box. We don’t know what the rest of sides of the packages look like, but so far the front looks great! Each Turtle brother has his respective name on the box and it reads “1988 Remastered” with their name. There is also a burst that says ” All new articulation and deco”. Speaking of deco, you can see how their classic interpretation of their unique accessories are now silver and with the hand grips colored for each turtle’s bandana color. Also in terms of deco, there was some previous consternation about the texture on the turtles skin. In these photos, the deco doesn’t look as bad, but it’s still heavy and noticeable. All in all, though, I think they look amazing and we can’t wait to get these in hand! Each turtles also comes with a stand and a dio piece for the for the rooftop diorama that is made out of their 4 respective stands.

Turtles of Grayskull
The lone holdout of the Turtles of Grayskull line is Leatherhead!
Leatherhead
Leartherhead is the only deluxe Turtles of Grayskull figure that has not gone up for preorder. We got wind of Leatherhead coming to the Turtles of Grayskull line as a deluxe Walmart exclusive back in December 2023. Flash forward to March 2024, Leatherhead was officially revealed as part of the Fall 2024 Turtles of Grayskull. We hope he will be going up for preorder and here is the Walmart Link so get ready!
As a deluxe figure, Leatherhead features a steel trap accessory that is on a hinge that can open and close. Looking closer at the original offical image that released back in March and the updated official images, the steel trap accessory color has changed from a light blue to green. Also there has been vast improvements on the figure itself! You can see the head sculpt has been updated! He has crocodile eyes, a more detailed jaw with divets in his lower jaw so that when you close his mouth, there is room for his upper teeth! Also you will notice a huge improvement on his hand sculpts, as the original image had huge hands. Also you will notice that his hat is also now more form fitting and makes space for his large eyes!
Taking a look at the back of the figure, you can see how his helmet is interchangeable with his hat so you can change up the look! The armor also has the plastic faux fur like some of the other figures in the line. The biggest improvement comes with his tail. The original image shows a hollow tail, and now the new version is a full tail, fully sculpted all the way around. Leatherhead’s tail is awesome as it’s very prehistoric looking.
Here is an up close and personal image of the front Leatherhead and you can see how form fitting the helmet is! The eyes are also painted yellow with an interesting iris design! Here you can see how well he looks with his mouth closed that the divets on his lower jaw allow room for his upper teeth when his mouth is closed! With Leatherhead’s hat on, he does like a playful yet menacing figure that will give the Turtles of Grayskull a run for their money!
MOTU Origins
Mattel is apparently moving away from partnering with Walmart for their Snake Men so it makes things a little harder to predict. Originally slotted as potential Walmart exclusives, Reptilax and Vypor could make good candidates to show up for Walmart Collector Con. The only place we’ve found Vypor, other than Paulamrt, is Amazon but the listing has not gone live yet.
Necro-Conda Official Images
The Necro-Conda is truly an amazing figure! Reusing parts from Nake Armor He-Man and Snake Armor Skeletor, this figure is unique in his own right and he glows in the dark. He also comes with the snake tail that was introduced with the Lady Slither MOTU Origins Matel Creations exclusive.

Getting a closer look at the figure, we can clearly see King Hiss’ snake head being resused and the figure buck almost looks like a translucent green/black plastic! He also comes with a soft goods cape with a hood to go over his head!

This figure assortment includes the Big Bossman, Kurt Angle and Tatanka, which were recently on display at Wrestlemania 2024. These figures could possibly coming to a future Walmart Cancel Con Summer 2024 (I joke…but seriously!) and we have the links to the Walmart listings in case you do! Tatanka
Tatanka comes packed with his soft goods gear on full display! The cardback features, “End of the train native and American warrior.”
He looks amazing and he features his signature red mohawk and face paint. The tomahawk looks great and is very detailed.
His sift goods attire is very well crafted and it looks like it is suede!
The packout for Tantaka features his tomahawk, necklace, soft goods suede attire, and extra hands.

Kurt Angle
He comes with a gold medal, his soft goods ring attire, and extra hands.
Kurt Angle comes packed on the WWE Superstars card that shows his gold medal and his soft goods gear on him! This makes a very nice display for collector’s who keep these figures on card. On the back of the card it features Kurt Angle’s saysing such as, ” I won a gold medal with a broken freakin’ neck, Oh it’s true, it’s [damn] true, and integrity, intensity, intelligence.”
Kurt looks great with his gold medal and they really captured his likeness pretty well! You can even see the tattoo on his back and he looks amazing with or without his soft goods gear!

Big Bossman
Get ready to do hard time with the Big Bossman! His cardback features sayings like, “You’ll be serving hard time and Boss Man slam!”
He comes with cuffs, a police stick, belt, sunglasses, and his soft goods police outfit. I did not take a photo without his shirt off because I usually never the cloths back on right.
His sunglasses look great on him and he also looks super cool without them.
His cuffs even fit on his belt, which was a great design decision and completes his look!

WWE Superstars
GI Joe Classified Series
The Night Force faction from the GI Joe Classified Series line is exclusive to Walmart. Supposedly, there is a Night Force Falcon and Heart Wrencher 2-Pack in the works. Big ups to chaz_the_guru for always supplying the GI Joe Classified Series intel! Also, a repaint of the Steel Corps Troopers were teased on the Iron Grenadiers dio shots. In addition, Outback has had a regular release and a Tiger Force release so that would make him a great candidate for a Night Force repaint!
Night Force Lt. Falcon
Now if we look at the list above of the original Night Force, we know that Lt. Falcon and Outback have already been released figures, so those are the two most likely contenders as “Joe Redeco”, and then Tunnel Rat was just announced as a Digital Render reveal at last week’s GI Joe Hasbro Pulse March 2023 Fanstream, so he could be part of the “Redeco” contenders as well! So let’s focus on these 3 figures!
Falcon was released as part of the Night Force A Real American Hero Line in 1988. Lt. Falcon originally came packaged with Sneak Peak as a two pack. As we know he already has a Classified figure that was recently released, so he is a very likely candidate for this “Redeco” slot! Let’s hope that they take another shot at the head sculpt and improve it on the next iteration of Lt. Falcon, if indeed he is the named “NF Redeco” figure.
Night Force Lt. Falcon’s file card reads:
Lt. Falcon is a second-generation Green Beret. His father served with the SFGA ( Speciakl Forces Group Airborne) from its beginning at Fort Bragg’s Smoke Bomb Hill. Falcon was cross- trained in demolitions and served brieftly with the 5th SFGA “Blue Light” counter-terrorist unit as an “A” Team XO”. He is proficient in Spanish, French, Arabic and Swahili and a qualified expert with the most NATO and Warsaw Pact small-arms.
“Leading a covert team at night in poor visibility conditions and under strict noise discipline seems almost impossible. Lt. Falcon accomplishes this task by establishing an intimate rapport with his team, working with them to earn their respect. A Night Force team led by Lt. Falcon functions almost as a single entity, with each member alert, responsive, and trusting each other to do his Job!”
So we already know what the Classified Series Falcon looks, like, and here is a custom by Dye Customs of what a Night Force version deco might look like.
Heartwrencher
Heartwrencher was part of a set of rumors dating back to November 2023. We have yet another Dreadnock to the mix, but this time it is a female with Heartwrencher. I can see this one easily reusing some of the parts that were used for Zarana! She is a very deep cut as there is not a lot of history about here.
Heart Wrencher was part of the Collector’s club released in 2018. According to Heart-Wrencher | Joepedia | Fandom:

Night Force Steel Brigade Tease
Teased on the dio shots from the Iron Grenadier, we could also see a repaint of of the Steel Brigade in Night Force deco!
Night Force Outback
Night Force Outback is another big contender for the “NF Redeco” slot, as he already has 2 other figures made of him, so all the tooling and accessories are already ready to go! Now, we aren’t saying that we want a third Outback in the Classified Series, but he is a strong possibility! Outback was also released as a 2 pack in 1989 as part of the A Real American Hero line and he was packed with Crazylegs.
Night Force Outback’s file card reads:
Outback was an instructor at both the Survival School and the Jungle Warfare Training Center. He has had extensive experience in Central America and may or may not have participated in clandestine operations in the Middle East. Most people are intimidated by wilderness. They do not feel comfortable in an area where there is no sign of human life for miles. Not Outback! He believes in being part of his enviornment, not it’s adversary!
“A covert team that functions at night and lays low during the daylught hours has its own peculiar survival problems. A nice, oozy spot to set up and ambush could also be a preferable meeting place for poisonous snakes A dry streambed might be an inviting place to pitch a shelter if one didn’t know about possibility of flash floods. It’s Outback;s job to get the Night Force to their targets, intact and healthy!”
