New Eternia Masterverse Toy Fair 2025 Reveals
Toy Fair 2025 is upon us and Mattel is having an amazing showing thus far! Confirming the early information that we received that She-Ra and Terror Claws Skeletor were coming to the New Eternia Masterverse line, Mattel revealed those figures in all of their glory and they look outstanding! We are just waiting for the Ninjor reveal for the wave to be complete so stand by for more updates! We also expect more figures to be revealed for the Masterverse Wave 18 figure assortment, which should include New Eternia Teela, Kobra Khan, and Hordak! Speaking of which, an official image of New Eternia Hordak was released today and posted by yo_tengo_el_poder!

She-Ra
Looking very different than the PoP version of the Masterverse She-Ra version 1, this version of She-Ra is clad in a stunning outfit and a soft goods cape.

Getting a closer look at the figure, She-Ra’s outfit has so much detail and paints a different version of her, which is a welcomed addition the line. She is pictured with her sword and Shield!

Here we get a nice view of the back and you can see here amazing hairdo!

Terror Claw Skeletor
This figure looks mighty beefy and really leans into the technical nature of how Skeletor would even operate his Claws of Terror!

He comes with his classic crop top and a helmet with a mask, which could be from covering his face to prevent all of the blood from getting on his skull from him wielding his terror claws! The claws themselves are huge and have a ton of metal detail that really brings them to life. The hoses that connect to the claws complete the look!

Masterverse Wave 17 Early Information
She-Ra 40th Anniversary Gold Label
First up is She-Ra 40th Anniversary Gold Label. Now we aren’t sure exactly what this means. We have not gotten a gold label moniker on any of the previous figures thus far. Is this a one off for the 40th Anniversary of She-Ra or is this a new sub line? Time will only tell, but let’s explore the options, shall we? So let’s look at the MOTU classics line and see how this might be different from the Masterverse She-Ra we already got.
She-Ra came out in 2009 for the MOTU Classics Line, and she had a very vintage inspired look while still maintaining a bit of that animated flare. If you still want to pick a MOTU Classics version of She-Ra, you can find her on Ebay HERE.
The Masterverse She-Ra was pretty good and I can’t imagine what Mattel will do to zhuzh this one up more for the 40th anniversary gold label? If you want to see more about the first Masterverse She-Ra, be sure to check out this article: Masterverse She-Ra and Hordak In Hand Images.

We already have gotten a She-Ra in the Masterverse line, so what will make this 40th Anniversary Gold Label figure special? Well one speculation could be taking a look at what they did for the 2016 SDCC Exclusive version. This one was 11″ and had rooted hair. She came in spectacular packaging that was inspired by both the Filmation cartoon and vintage toy line. Could Mattel have something like this up their sleeve for the 40th Anniversary? If you still want to pick one of these sets up, you can find it on Ebay HERE.
Here you can see what the figure actually looked like. This 2016 SDCC exclusive measured 11″ and came with a slew of accessories that allowed you to dress She-Ra in both here Filmation Look and here vintage style figure look. That included her outfits as well. She had a soft goods dress that looked like the vintage figure, and also another more Filmation style outfit, both shown below.
Here you can see everything that the 2016 SDCC exclusive came packed with, including an outfit to make her look like Adora! Do you think that Mattel has something like this in mind for the 40th anniversary gold label version?
New Eternia Ninjor
Next up in the Wave 17 assortment is New Eternia Ninjor. Ninjor is a personal favorite of mine, as I always loved the vintage figure of him with his soft goods Gui and all his cool Ninja gear! I know that Michael is a big fan of Ninjas, but perhaps a cool Masterverse version similar to the MOTU classics version might change his mind! LOL!! So for this figure in the wave, as we are doing with the rest of the figures in this article, we will take a look at it’s 7″ predecessor from the MOTU classics line for reference.
Released in 2015, the MOTU Classics Ninjor came late in the line, but looked amazing. He came packed with alternate heads so you could display him both with and without his masked face. He had a gold rope as a belt that looks spectacular on him and a slew of accessories.
Here you can see MOTU Classics Ninjor standing here in all his glory. He came with his signature bow and arrow, quiver and nun chucks. If the New Eternia Ninjor we get for the Masterverse line is anywhere close to this one, I will be happy! If you still want to pick a MOTU Classics version of Ninjor, you can find him on Ebay HERE.
New Eternia Terror Claws Skeletor
Last up in Wave 17 is Terror Claws Skeletor. Now this one totally makes sense as we just got Battle Armor Skeletor, and also Flying Fist He-Man. So when Flying Fist He-Man comes around, Terror Claws Skeletor can’t be too far behind! You know the treatment that the New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor got, so I can’t wait to see what does with a New Eternia Terror Claws Skeletor! Let’s take a look at the MOTU Classics one to see what we can expect!
Terror Claws Skeletor for the MOTU Classics line came in a two pack with Flying Fist He-Man. If you still want to pick one of these sets up, you can find it on Ebay HERE. These two always go together. Looking at the MOTU Classics version below, you know what to expect with a classic looking Terror Claws Skeletor. But Mattel did such a wonderful job on the New Eternia Flying Fist He-Man complete with his Lion’s head shoulder pauldrons as a stunning homage to the Eternia Central Tower! So I wonder what New Eternia twists we can expect for Terror Claws Skeletor? I can’t wait to see!
