Turtles of Grayskull Reptile Wars MOTU Origins Spring 2025 Lineup
The MOTU Origins Turtles of Grayskull Spring 2025 lineup features a brand new design direction and story line called the Reptile Wars!
The MOTU x ToG line brought out the heavy hitters during SDCC 2024 and boldly went in a totally new direction with the Turtles of Grayskull line! Announced at the Masters of the Universe panel, the next phase of the Turtles of Grayskull MOTU Origins crossover will be the Reptile Wars. Not knowing the direction the ToG team was moving in, we received early information that Mekaneck and Rattlor were coming to the Turtles of Grayskull line back in May 2024 and were were puzzled at the news at first but it was great see confirmation with the reveals at the Mattel panel. It was the icing on the cake to see both Rattlor and Mekaneck in the Turtles of Grayskull booth along with a whole host of new characters with new tooling.

We also put together this graphic for the lineup as we are sure we’ll be seeing something similar to this officially released by Mattel. In the booth, Shredder and King Hiss were called out as Walmart exclusives but we are not sure who the Target exclusives will be at this point.

Reptile Wars Packaging Concepts
The packaging concepts are a work in progress but they look outstanding! The Snake Men are invading the Turtles of Grayskull! The colors are so vibrant and the snakes coupled with the purples and greens really makes the card art pop!

Raphael
The Reptile Wars Raphael looks amazing as he is all clad in Snake Armor! There is also armor on his upper right bicep plus the right side of his chest is clad in armor on the right side and the R is set off in black and red. He also comes with an oversized snake grabber or weapon attachment.

Michaelangelo
Clad in a crop top piece of Snake Armor, Michaelangelo looks like he can take on any reptile! His weapon looks like some sort of snake capturing device that looks electrically charged, which will come in handy!

Leonardo
In the most plain armor of the group, Leonardo comes with two hook weapons and I am sure that the hooks will sink right into any reptile foe!

Donatello
In the most interesting armor, Donatello comes with a weapon that is a reuse of the flame staff that comes with the Skeletor & Demogorgon Stranger things 2-pack. The snake face mask that comes up from under his chin gives him a totally different look and his chest armor is a cool design that is set off with purple and silver.

Clamp Champ
Clamp Champ was a surprise and he comes with an oversized Snake clamp, which is so apropos for him. He is clad in a snake skin suit plus some armor in various places and he is the most handsome of the bunch.

Mekaneck
The Turtles of Grayskull are moving in such a cool direction and Mekaneck looks amazing!

The concept illustrations shows the various ways you can display Mekaneck.

Mekaneck was also revealed in the MOTU booth with his double stacked neck and his new design. The armor looks like it has turbines on the front and he looks great with this oversized armor!

Rattlor
The image below shows the inspiration for the Turtles of Grayskull Rattlor!

Rattlor was also on display in the MOTU booth and we got some new photos of him! With the main color being predominately pink, Rattlor is a blend of blues and yellows and a mix of translucent plastics. He is definitly the standout in the group and he looks amazing in his mutated form.

Ninjor
Ninjor was a complete shocker in a good way as the ToG line has brought dragons to the line. With a totally new head sculpt and design, Ninjor brings some new tooling to the line that could be used for future MOTU figures.

It appears that Ninjor has a hinged jaw, which will give him some great poseability options. The neck piece has some scaly detail and it feeds down to an oversized collar. The forearms and hands also have scaly detail that feed into a translucent plastic bicep.

Shredder
Shredder looks outstanding in his mutated form as they are reusing Lady Slither’s tail once again. The head sculpt features a snake appearance under Shredder’s face armor. The oversized shoulder armor looks like a snake is biting down on his biceps, which gives him a cool look. His snake staff features a bident with a snake wrapping around the upper portion. Shredder was specifically called out as a Walmart exclusive.

King Hiss
King Hiss was another standout in the bunch has he featured not only a cool snake head sculpt, but snakes for hands! The gold and purple tones go really well on the figure and there is some paint washing that bleed the colors together on his upper arms. King Hiss was specifically called out as a Walmart exclusive.

The upper portion of King Hiss comes off and he also comes with a Foot Clan body, which could be a cool way to army build the figure!
