MOTU Masterverse Fall 2024 / Spring 2025 Lineup
Our SDCC 2024 roundups continue with the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 lineup of Masters of the Universe Masterverse figures. We’ve featured roundups from the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection, Turtles of Grayskull Reptile Wars, and the Mattel Creations exclusives. Back in May 2024, we got wind that New Eternia Evil-Lyn, Flying Fists He-Man, Fisto, and an army builder would be joinig the Masterverse line and it was amazing to see them on display at the Mattel booth at SDCC 2024.
The Masterverse figures were spread over 3 displays in the Mattel booth! There was one dedicated Masterverse display that contained the nonexclusive releases, a display dedicated to showing off the Mattel creations exclusives, which contained New Etenria Panthor and New Eternia Horde Trooper.

The Masterverse Wave 14 figure assortment was also on display at SDCC 2024!

Masterverse Fall 2024 Figures
The Masterverse figures that are slotted for a Fall 2024 release consist of the Wave 14 (NE BA Skeletor, Snake Sorceress Teela, Man-O-War, NE Mer-Man, and Movie Beast Man) and the Mattel Creations NE Horde Trooper.
Snake Sorceress Teela
Sorceress Snake Teela looks amazing and she turned out really! She reminds me of the Goddess with the overall look at feel. The staff of Kah came out great and has some nice detail and coloring. Her soft goods skirt is an amazing addition and the pattern resembles snake skin. The golds, blacks, and greens compliment the figure really well!

Man-O-War
Man-O-War was on display with his masked look and the plastic is translucent so you can see his face. He comes with two extra hands, a blast effect, a mace gauntlet, a regular gauntlet that fit over his right hand and forearm, and face shield fits on to his helmet that provides protection for his mug. The former Man-At-Arms has become a man of armor as he’s clad from head-to-toe (at least on the right side) with oversized pieces of white armor with gold accents.

New Eternia Mer-Man
New Eternia Mer-Man came out spectacular and also looks way better than the first official image we first saw. In booth he was holding his spear and his eyes designed in such a way that they follow you. This being the 3rd iteration of Mer-Man in the Masterverse line, it looks like they finally nailed it.

New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor
Battle Armor Skeletor is the stand out in the wave! The helmet that integrates the ram horns looks outstanding and the oversized armor makes the figure look so much more bulkier! The helmet is removable and you can see the chainmail detail on his head when you remove it! There is also chainmail on his loin cloth that tie those two aesthetics together.

1987 Movie Beast Man
Inspired by the 1987 movie, this Beast Man helps add to the movie line, which is looks like they are going very deep into given the reveal of Blade.

New Eternia Horde Trooper
The Masterverse Horde Trooper is one beefy boy! He’s just the right girth and will make a huge presence on your shelf!

If you catch the light right, you can see an amber glow coming his eyes. Although not light piped, the eyes are contructed in a way that reflects light to make them look like they are glowing.

Masterverse Spring 2025 Figures
There were some really cool reveals for the Masterverse line, including the concept for movie Blade, the Skelcon, and New Eternia Fisto. The Spring 2025 Masterverse lineup consists of New Eterna Evil-Lyn, New Eternia Beast Man, New Eternia Flying Fists He-Man, New Eternia Roboto, New Eternia Fisto, Skelcon, New Eternia Panthor (Mattel Creations exclusive), and Blade (we are assuming).

Blade
The concept for Blade looks amazing and the headsculpt is actually modeled after the actor, Anthony De Longis, that played him in the 1987 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe movie.

Skelcon
The mystery army builder has been revealed as the Skelcon! This figure is perfect for the Masterverse line to build up Skeletor’s army!

The Skelcon was also on display in the MOTU booth and the head sculpt and paint app on the beak and mouth really adds some depth and dimension to the figure. He comes with some really cool accessories, including a spear, an axe, and a dagger.

One of coolest details is found in the head sculpt as he opens his mouth to reveal a tongue made of skulls.

New Eternia Fisto
New Eternia Fisto looks so different than any other Fist we have seen before. Mirroring the MOTU Classics version, he comes with an alternate head sculpt that can give Fisto a more traditional look.

He was also on display in the MOTU booth and he was shown with his new head sculpt and his ginormous hammer!

Up close you can see his regular, more vintage style head sculpt and instead of an iron fist, they gave Fisto an entire cybernetic arm in this update.

Here you can see his MOTU Classics inspired head sculpt and the shoulder and chest armor that adorns the figure.

Flying Fist He-Man
Flying Fists He-Man looks awesome and his shoulder armor looks like it is a nod to the Eternia Central Tower.

New Eternia Beast Man
Beast Man looks vicious but slimmed down! This is the second version of New Eternia Best Man and this one looks mean!

Some close ups of Beast Man and you can see the pronounced spikes in the armor and nod to the vintage figure with his medallion in the center of his chest.

New Eternia Evil Lyn
New Eternia Evil Lyn looks very majestic! Her overall look is updated and her staff looks like it can split into two pieces. Her colors have an overarching dark theme and there is some foe fur around her collar that extends down to her chest.

New Eternia Roboto
Roboto looks so cool with his see through chest to reveal his gears and inner workings! Roboto comes with new versions of his blaster, claw, and axe and a new mouth plate and extra hand!

Here is a close up of the blaster, claw, and axe and a new mouth plate and extra hand!

You can really see the innser workings of this version of Roboto and dare I say he looks more like a robot? They really leaned into updating certain aspects of his design to give him a more robotic look like the rivets in his face mask and an additional metal piece above his waist.

New Eternia Panthor
Panthor was revealed in the Mattel Creations portion of the booth and was the standout of the reveals as he features a premium paint app and design. Reusing Battle Cat’s buck as the base for the figure, he features very detailed armor and a helmet fitting for Skeletor’s beast.

Panthor can also carry weapons as we can see a spear packed on the left side. On the other side, according to the Mattel designers in the booth, can carry Skeletor’s Havoc Staff. We did not get to see Panthor without his helmet but we were told that his eyes have crystals in them to reflect light.

Panthor’s saddle is super detailed and features more of a leather look in the middle with a high front/back saddle. The saddle also has stirrups as Panthor has been given the New Eternia royal treatment.
