Official images of the Diabolical Snake Invasion MOTU Origins 4-Pack were revealed and teases Fang-or for 2nd time
Hot off the heals of the video Diabolical Snake Invasion video teaser, Roy Juarez posted the official images of the Diabolical Snake Invasion MOTU Origins 4-Pack. The box art and presentation of these special box sets just keeps getting better and better! In addition to the amazing artwork, we are treated to another Fang-Or tease. Before this, the latest mini comic that comes packed with MOTU Origins deluxe figures Dragon Blaster Skeletor and Snake Face teased Fang-Or and he is also rumored to be coming to the MOTU Origins line.

With the official images, we can get a much clearer sense of what is going on and we even see a tease of the short fanged version of Fang-Or crouching behind a rock between Rattle-Hood and Gorgon.
It is great to see the names and subtitles on the box art as these are new Snake Men characters introduced into the MOTU Origins line:
- Rattle-Hood: Snake Men Squad Leader
- Gorgon: Loyal Spy to King Hiss
- Naga: Evil Poison Master
The front of the box is a tasty treat of Snake Men goodness as they all rally and attack Snake Armor He-Man! Vyper Tower is very apropos in the background and we get a much clearer shot of the Fang-Or tease as you can see him gripping the rock and poised to join in the assault.
We can see how the digital art gets rendered on the packaging and we can even see the writing on the back of the box: “He-Man summons all of his power to stop the army of Diabolical Snakes from sinking their poisonous fangs into Eternia.” We joke but glad He-Man dressed for the occasion with his entire left side of his body exposed.
One of the cooler illustrations is of a Snake possessed Snake Mountain as it looks like King Hiss has overthrown Skeletor as we can see a giant snake face and two snakes coming out of the top of Skeletor’s stronghold. We also see the long fanged version of Fang-Or and, like the mini comic he was first teased in, it looks like they are setting up Fang-Or as an army builder.
Fang-Or Tease
This is the 2nd time Fang-Or has been teased officially and we are aware of the leaked figure but we were asked to remove our our post about it. Fang-Or makes his appearances in the mini comic, Viper’s Vice, and he is being portrayed as an army builder!
Fang-Or MOTU Classics
Fang-Or is a character from the Masters of the Universe franchise, specifically the Masters of the Universe Classics toyline. In the storyline of the Masters of the Universe, Fang-Or is a member of the Snake Men, a group of evil serpent-like creatures who were enemies of He-Man and his allies. Fang-Or was known for his ferociousness and loyalty to his leader, King Hiss.
He was depicted as a green snake-like creature with large fangs and came with a plethora of weapons and accessories, which included an odd assortment of tools like a wrench, hammer, and screwdriver.
His bio reads: A vicious Snake Man who could regrow his massive fangs after projecting them like knives in battle, Fang-Or first beheld the glory and power of technology in an early battle with the Horde Empire. On Eternia, he volunteered to assist the transformed Snake Man-At-Arms so he could learn how to build more advanced weaponry and vehicles like the Rattle Trap for the Viper Lord King Hssss. Quickly becoming a mechanical expert, Fang-Or was able to access the technology of Gwildor’s Cosmic Key, allowing him and several of the Snake Men to survive the Second Ultimate Battleground by journeying to Trolla where they became vassals of Lady Slither, another of the Unnamed One’s Viper Lords. Later, Fang-Or mobilized Lady Slither’s Snake Lair to help them escape capture on Trolla when He-Man defeated the Revenge Squad. After years adrift between dimensions, the Lair settled on Eternia where they set out to use sorcery and science to reverse the Spell of Separation and restore the Snake Men after the Unnamed One’s demise.

Here we can see the incredible artwork flap open to reveal the window to see the 4 figures packaged within. Below you can see Snake Armor He-Man, and the names for the 3 new Snake Men which include: Rattle Hood, Gorgon and Naga. They are in a swapping setting in Preternia as you can see Viper Tower in the background!
The packaging and art will make a great display piece and the scene where Snake Armor He-Man is fending off his new foes looks amazing!
With the size of the images as they are, it’s hard to tell if there are any future MOTU teases in there but we can see the back of the packaging art with an amazing planetary scene as the Snake Men wage an all out attack on Snake Armor He-Man! On the back of the package, the battle rages on, and you can see Snake Mountain in the background. There is also another creature lurking in the misty moonlit sky as well. We can’t make out who this is, but when we get the official images revealed hopefully tomorrow, we should be able to make out the images better. With the size of the images as they are, it’s hard to tell if there are any future MOTU teases in there but we can see the back of the packaging art with an amazing planetary scene as the Snake Men wage an all out attack on Snake Armor He-Man!
You can also see the Wave 12 and 13 cross sells on the back of the box, which is interesting as they they have selected a batch of Snake figures to feature.
Snake Men 4-Pack Official Release
We previously covered a leak that there would be a Snake Men 4-Pack coming to the MOTU Origins Line and the Snake Men 4-Pack is an exciting addition to the MOTU Origins line. Given that 2023 will be the year of the Snake Men, a 4 pack is just what King Hiss (we mean The Doctor) ordered! So let’s tale a closer look at the official images! So these snake men include a green one using the Rattlor head, a blue one with the ended neck and Camo Khan open hooded head, and a third burgundy Snake Man as well. This set also includes a slight repaint of Snake Armor He-Man. This is going to be a really sought after set!
We first heard about this leak from a UK toy site but they since have removed the listings so all we have is the product page for these ones, which were leaked back in December 2022.
