Evil-Bae Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 Stretch Goal Reveal

Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity is adding its first female figure with Evil-Bae, the newly revealed stretch goal for Wave 2. Mistress of the auction house and monopolist of Nefarity’s overpriced auction scene, Evil-Bae continues the line’s retail satire by taking aim at eBay and its fees, which can apparently reach a villainous 13 percent. The character also requires entirely new body tooling, so she’ll sit behind a higher unlock target when the campaign launches. Her design was created with @zelu1984, and the green elements shown in the artwork are planned to have a metallic finish on the finished figure. Evil-Bae is a meaningful change for a line that its creator acknowledges has been something of a “sausage fest” so far, and I like that the first woman in the roster is more than a simple reuse or gender-swapped gag. She has her own role in Nefarity and fits the line’s running commentary on the less enjoyable side of toy collecting. The reveal follows our earlier looks at the Wave 2 mystery figures and the Tarjayy and Walmaria Guards. Evil Bae’s red costume, metallic green armor, and repeated lowercase “e” emblems make the auction-site parody unmistakable without losing the loud fantasy styling. Three alternate heads include a sweeping blue-haired option, and different expressions on her alternate heads. A pastel quartered shield, blue mallet, ornate hammer, and a spell casting hand complete this amazing unlock!
