Fresh in from Toy Habits Crew Member Professor Vex, we’ve got an in-hand look at Evil-Lyn and Wun-Dar from the Masterverse Vintage Collection, and these two are looking fantastic in hand. We first covered Wun-Dar when news broke that the obscure character was coming to the Masterverse Vintage Collection, and Evil-Lyn’s arrival was confirmed shortly after as part of Walmart Collector Con July 2026. Now that we can see both figures outside of promo shots, there’s a lot to appreciate. Evil-Lyn’s sculpt stays faithful to the classic vintage aesthetic while incorporating the improved articulation and proportions the Masterverse Vintage line is known for. Her helmet, staff, and color scheme all look dialed in. Then there’s Wun-Dar , a deep-cut pick that I love seeing Mattel acknowledge. For a character with such limited representation in the lore, the figure carries real shelf presence and feels like a genuine reward for longtime MOTU collectors who know the history. The vintage-style card backs on both look clean, and the overall presentation across these images gives a solid sense of what to expect when these hit retail. Wun-Dar
Wun-Dar ‘s face sculpt features a determined, gritted-teeth expression with sharp brow lines and a squared jaw that leans into the classic barbarian look. The brown hair is parted and swept to the sides with a feathered texture, framing the face just above the shoulders.
The side profile shows off the thick, layered musculature sculpted into the arms and torso, with deep cuts between the bicep, tricep, and shoulder that give the body real definition. The dark boot wraps have a gathered, bunched texture with horizontal creases running down the shins, and the fur loincloth hangs naturally at his side.
From the back, you can see how the harness straps run over the shoulders and connect to the belt with a small peg point, keeping the armor piece secure against the bare torso. The sculpted hair has a swept-back wave pattern with individually carved strands that taper neatly at the nape of the neck.
The profile view reveals the wrist cuff sitting just above a tightly clenched fist, with each knuckle and tendon individually defined in the sculpt. You can also see how the harness edge runs a detailed mechanical pattern of linked segments along its trim, contrasting against the smooth, bare skin of the back and shoulders.
You can see the full accessory loadout spread across the weapons rack, including the battle axe, sword, laser with blast effect, helmeted head, and a pair of swap hands. The axe has wide, curved blades on a long ridged handle, and the sword features a pointed blade with a straight crossguard.
Wun-Dar carries a broad sword and a round shield, both with chunky, simplified sculpts that lean hard into that vintage toy aesthetic. The black chest armor has a raised emblem on the front, and the fur loincloth has a nice sculpted texture that pairs well with the wrinkled boot wraps on the lower legs.
The laser gun has a compact, angular body with the blast effect tip extending from the barrel, giving it a distinctly sci-fi feel compared to the more medieval sword and shield. Wun-Dar ‘s helmeted is a repaint of Zodac and features large round eye lenses and a riveted jaw guard that leaves only the mouth exposed.
The gray wrist cuffs have a smooth, simplified sculpt that keeps them looking clean against the muscular forearms, and the studded belt has a heavy, industrial feel with its row of raised rivets. Professor Vex framed this one to really show off how the black chest armor sits flush against the torso, with the white emblem’s angular lines standing out sharply.
Here you get a full frontal look at the blaster, which has a compact, angular head on a short shaft with a tapered grip. The black armor’s ribbed midsection features horizontal grooves running below the emblem, adding a layered, segmented structure to the torso piece.
Evil-Lyn
A repaint of Teela, Evil Lyn stands with her fists open at her sides, giving you a clear view of the curled scroll-like sculpt details running down the torso armor and the riveted disc pattern along the belt. The fur-trimmed boot cuffs have a rough, shaggy texture that breaks up the smooth lines of the legs nicely.
From the back, the soft goods cape drapes with a natural weight and falls to just above the feet, with the sculpted fur collar adding a nice textured border at the neckline. You can also see how the spiked crown fans out cleanly from behind the helmet.
The side profile gives you a clear look at the spiral motif sculpted into the helmet, a classic Evil Lyn design detail that wraps tightly against the head. The silver gauntlet on her forearm features a small embossed emblem, and the segmented boots have a layered, armored construction.
The side view shows how the cape’s fabric has a clean drape from the collar, hanging just past the knees without bunching. The belt sits snugly at the waist with small riveted studs visible along its edge, and you can see how the armor’s circular disc on the chest piece is positioned right at the shoulder line.

To Professor Vex, the standout to me is the inclusion of the short handled crystal ball accessory.
The flame staff is a wild piece, with sculpted tendrils of fire erupting from a clawed grip at the top of the shaft.
