GI Joe Classified Series 1027 Hasbro Pulse Premium 2024 FanStream Recap

The Hasbro Pulse Premium 1027 FanStream is back and, if you are a Hasbro Pulse Premium member, you’re invited to a special virtual event packed with exciting product reveals, content, updates, and more from some of your favorite brands! The event happens Sunday, October 27th at 9am PT / 12:00pm ET on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube Channel, which is an event to celebrate Hasbro Pulse Premium members! Although this FanStream will feature several of Hasbro Brands, we like to focus our attention on the GI Joe Classified Series and the only figure they showcased was the Hasbro Pulse exclusive Nemesis Immortal figure!

Nemesis Immortal

Nemesis Immortal goes up for preorder on October 28, 2024 at 1pm ET for Hasbro Pulse Premium members and 2pm ET for all fans! You can preorder it here: G.I. Joe Classified Series #140, Nemesis Immortal – Hasbro Pulse

The 1027 event also gave us a nice preview of the diorama images we’ll be seeing when the preorder goes live. Here is a shot of Nemesis Immortal with an outstretched wingspan as he stands in the stronghold of the Cobra La.

His vintage head sculpt has a lot of defining lines that make his facial features stand out. His armor also looks organic and alive. If fact, it looks like there are two eyes on his chest armor.

Here you can see his alternate head and his green inspectopod pod on his back. He is also clutching his swords and his alternate makes him look very menacing. His wings are also articulated and look very much like bat wings.

The bat wings were also designed to be there own creature when they are off his back but when they are on, they look like they are a part of Nemesis Immortal and add to the overall creepy look and feel of the figure. Here you can see a rear view of is green inspectopod pod on his back.

We finally have an official look at his packaging as well. It is illustrated all the way arpund and you can also see his entire pack out of wings, insectopod, alternate head and alternate hands. The rear of the package features a diorama image of Nemesis Immortal fying above where you can see Cobra Commander in what looks like a giant clam!

They also showed off “in-hand” images of Nemesis Immortal! He was designed to be wearing a bio-tech suit inspired by the Cobra-La. Bringing the story from GI Joe Energon Universe comic into the GI Joe line.

He is more monster like and grotesque. The inspectopod green snake like accessory attaches to his back. He comes with an alternate head design as well. His wings are removable as well, so you can display him in various ways

October 26, 2024 Update from London Comic Com: Blowtorch and Frag Viper Digital Render Reveals

Blowtorch and Frag Viper are reported to be coming in Wave 19 and Heavy Duty and Nemesis Immortal will be the next deluxe figures!

Blowtorch

The Blowtorch digital render has been revealed, taking his off the name only list! He looks so classic and his fire suit is updated while retaining that lego brick feeling we loved from the vintage line!

Blowtorch was part of the 1984 series and cartoon and featured a very unique armor sculpt with orange-red pads on chest, arms, legs, and feet. The colors are what attracted me (Michael) to this figure when I was kid and he was my all time favorite figure in the so of course I would selfishly love to see him make the Classified Series and now he is coming!

Frag Viper

Frag Viper was also revealed and he looks just like his vintage figure! He comes with his classic grenade lobber and his classic colors!

As a freebie for miscounting the GI Joe Classified Series preorders on the Leap Day 2024 FanStream, Emily said that Frag Viper will also be coming to line but that would be very far into the future.

Heavy Duty and Nemesis Immortal

October 24, 2024: Possible Digital Render Reveals

We’ve been keeping track of the name only reveals and the Joe team has built a nice running list, which was just added to from the New York Comic Con 2024 GI Joe Classified Series panel reveals.

Darklon

Darklon hails from the same bloodline as the infamous Destro, sharing the legacy of a family-bound steel mask. But while the Destro clan built their empire through arms dealing, the Darklons carved their path in more ruthless pursuits—mercenary work, privateering, and even investment banking. They’re opportunists, loyal only to the highest bidder, with no allegiances or sides to call their own. Darklon takes it a step further, unlike his distant cousin. He’s got no moral compass, no code of honor. Greed fuels his every move, making him one of the most dangerous players in the game.

Crystal Ball

Bizarre, eerie, and downright unsettling—that’s Crystal Ball in a nutshell. He may not boast any genetic modifications or surgical enhancements, but his unnerving behavior and wild tales of European mysticism have rattled even the most hardened members of Cobra. With whispers of supernatural powers, Crystal Ball claims to hypnotize with barely any effort and even seems to possess the ability to read minds.

Snake Eyes v4

Snake Eyes (version 4) was released in 1991 and he had a blue and black color scheme. The vintage came packed with a red machine gun, 2 red swords, a blue backpack with spring-loaded grappling hook launcher (actually fired), a red grappling hook with black string to attach to the backpack, and a black figure stand. Looks like they are leaning into the comic version so exited to see what he’ll look like in final production!

AWE Striker Tease?

It appears that a new vehicle is in the works and it must be a small form factor so we are thinking this could be a tease for the AWE Striker!

Blowtorch

Blowtorch was part of the 1984 series and cartoon and featured a very unique armor sculpt with orange-red pads on chest, arms, legs, and feet. This custom concept comes from the talented YoJoeARAH customs and he captured what a Classified Series Blowtorch would like like perfectly! He has given him an updated flame thrower and tank design and added some red in order to differentiate various parts to his pack out! Integrating his yellow helmet, ace mask with hose, fuel-tank backpack with hole for cord, and his olive-green M-7 flamethrower with cord, this is exactly how I had pictured a Classified Series concept for this iconic figure.

Frag Viper

As a freebie for miscounting the GI Joe Classified Series preorders on the Leap Day 2024 FanStream, Emily said that Frag Viper will also be coming to line but that would be very far into the future.

Stronox Customs did an incredible job creating what a Classified Series scale Frag Viper figure could look like!

He features his classic grenade lobber, hose, and backpack!

Possible Figure Reveals and Preorders

A gaggle of digital render reveals graced NYCC 2024, with some figures, a playset, and a tease of a super weapon! Since these were just digital render revealed at NYCC 2024, we could see the following digital renders featured in plastic form at the event.

Footloose

Footloose is portrayed in his classic green camouflage and comes with his helmet, backpack, rocket launcher, rifle, pistol, and knife!

Snake Eyes and Polar Bear

The GI Joe Cartoon is getting some love with Snakes and a massive polar bear! It also looks like the figure comes with a piece of the MASS device, which will be amazing!!!

Legacy Collection Firefighter

This bunker is small and pretty unassuming but it’s pretty cool to see a playset harken back to the Cobra Surveillance Port in a new way.
