GI Joe Classified Series SDCC 2025 Digital Render Reveals

Some major G.I. Joe Classified Series news just dropped, and this time it’s coming straight from Big Bad Toy Store! The G.I. Joe team has partnered with the online retailer to reveal a digital render of Wet Suit and likely available through BBTS. Alongside Wet Suit, fans also got a first look at four new digital renders: Sci-Fi, Desert Scorpion with SKRP10N, and Grim Viper. While these additional figures were not confirmed as SDCC exclusives, they are part of the upcoming pipeline, and we expect more details to be revealed through official @gijoe social channels during San Diego Comic Con. July 17, 2025 Update: Mainframe Digital Render Reveal

Entertainment Earth has dropped the digital render reveal for Mainframe and said “FIRST LOOK ALERT! We also mocked up what his helmet would look like on his head to get an idea of how the face render would like as you could not remove the vintage figure’s helmet.

Sci-Fi

This digital render of Sci-Fi from the G.I. Joe Classified Series showcases a sleek and modern take on the classic laser trooper. Sci-Fi features his iconic green and black body suit with metallic silver armor plating on his chest, shoulders, forearms, and lower legs, staying true to his vintage look while giving it a Classified upgrade. His high-tech gear includes a removable green helmet with visor and what looks to be a modular chest harness. He comes packed with a futuristic laser rifle, which connects via a long power cable to a translucent blue blast effect. His accessories hint at his advanced targeting and energy-based weapon systems, making him stand out as one of the more high-tech Joes in the Classified lineup. The figure’s face sculpt features a focused expression with a clean haircut. As a digital render, the final product may vary, but this preview gives fans a solid look at how Hasbro is bringing Sci-Fi into the modern Classified Series with both faithfulness and flair.

We also mocked up what Sci-Fi’s helmet would look like on his head and since he comes with various faceplates in different sizes, what the figure would look like with his full face mask on.

Wet Suit

This digital render of Wet Suit from the G.I. Joe Classified Series gives collectors a modern update to the classic Navy SEAL figure, staying true to the original with a two-tone green and black wetsuit, a white torso section featuring the red diver insignia, and a serious expression that matches his elite underwater role. The figure is packed with gear, including a removable orange diving helmet with breathing apparatus, an orange rebreather backpack, a twin-prop underwater propulsion unit, a black combat knife, an orange dive light, a submachine gun, detachable chest armor, and green-and-black swim fins. The overall design captures the essence of the 1986 version while refining the details and articulation for today’s Classified Series. Though this is a digital render and the final product may vary, it offers an exciting preview of what could be a standout release, especially as this figure was confirmed as the SDCC 2025 exclusive expected to be available through Big Bad Toy Store as they said:

Desert Scorpion

This digital render of Desert Scorpion from the G.I. Joe Classified Series brings the desert warfare specialist into the modern era with a rugged and menacing design, complete with his pet scorpion, SKRP10N. The figure wears a tan and black uniform accented with a chest harness, arm wraps, and golden shin guards, staying faithful to the vintage aesthetic while amping up the detail. He comes with an alternate unmasked face plate, a tactical backpack, a flowing fabric cloak, and an array of weapons including a large spear, scimitar-style knife, crossbow, and two bladed gauntlets that attach to his arms. His gear loadout adds flexibility for posing in stealth or combat scenes, and the large articulated scorpion companion figure, SKRP10N, is loaded with sculpted detail, from pincers to segmented tail. Accessories include a massive rotating gatling gun with a detachable ammo drum marked with tally graphics, a large radio pack with visible bullet storage, two combat knives with unique blade shapes, and a sidearm pistol. This version of the Viper also features molded armor details and a painted skull insignia on his chest plate, reinforcing his identity as an elite Cobra enforcer. The Grim Viper’s reissue as a repaint adds a fierce, battle-ready variation to the Cobra forces while keeping the core aesthetic of the Range Viper intact.
