Glacior MOTU Origins Club Grayskull Concept

We’re beyond excited to introduce a fan-made concept that we think would be an absolutely killer addition to Mattel’s Club Grayskull MOTU Origins line: Glacior! Created by the incredibly talented @thesecretsoforko and brought to life in photos by Mr. Home Arcade, Glacior’s origin is chilling (literally) and epic. After devastating defeats by King Grayskull and the Lords of Power, Hordak unleashed the “Forbidden Spell”—a dark incantation capable of breathing life into inanimate objects by transferring a fragment of a being’s essence. Hordak shattered the ancient gem “Absolute Zero,” stealing a shard powerful enough to forge Glacior, a merciless warrior fueled by cryomancy and Hordak’s own ruthless ambition. If Mattel is looking for the next amazing member of the Horde to join the MOTU Origins line, Glacior is it!

Glacier also made a cameo on the recent box art reveal of the Los Amigos 2025 Convention exclusive Preternia Weapons pack! According to Axel Gimenez, Glacior, a character created by Javi (aka @thesecretsoforko) will be making a cameo on the box art for the Weapons Pack! He said, “Glacior, a character created by Javi @thesecretsoforko, will have a “cameo” appearance in the box art of this year’s @los_amigos_convention exclusive accessories pack. Line art by me with colors by @dc_alonso_colorist.”

Axel Gimenez also revealed the final box art for the con exclusive! He posted on Instagram, “Once again, I’ve collaborated with @dc_alonso_colorist creating the artwork for this year’s @los_amigos_convention Exclusive Pack, and also prints that the convention will be creating on their own.” You can see Glacior right under Vypor’s left arm.

Glacior Bio

After the defeats suffered by King Grayskull and the Lords of Power, Zodac, Mossman, and Hé-Ro, Hordak resorted to a powerful and forbidden spell, which only someone with his knowledge could perform. “The Forbidden Spell” consists of giving life to an inanimate object, transferring part of a person’s essence, character, thoughts, feelings, and abilities. In this case, Hordak remembered Stilia’s object of power, a gem called “Absolute Zero,” which keeps Stilia frozen so its people can thrive and live there. The gem is so powerful that even approaching it is equivalent to freezing to death to the point of crystallization. Hordak knew this, so for days he concentrated his magical power to deal a massive blow to the Gem and obtain a fragment. However small, it would be enough to create a powerful warrior. He effortlessly defeated the soldiers protecting the Gem in the heart of one of his mountains. He launched a powerful energy beam from his arm cannon (technomancer) and managed to fragment the gem. A small shard jumped out, and Hordak was able to catch it and quickly teleport it to his sanctuary. He placed the Gem on an altar and began reciting the words of the forbidden spell. From that tiny fragment, a warrior similar in build to his General Callix emerged. Glacior has no feelings or mercy towards his enemies. He possesses Hordak’s cold nature and the ambition to continue growing powerful, because thanks to Hordak, he can improve his Cryomancy powers.

In-Hand Images from Mr. Home Arcade

It is no surprise that Mr. Home Arcade has secured this beautiful figure in his collection! In fact, he made a video review of Glacior (along with the MOTU 200x Callix and a new character, Magmoor, all three created by the legiondary @thesecretsoforko. Glacior’s armor looks like jagged shards of ice, with rough, organic edges that seem naturally formed rather than crafted. Spiked pauldrons (shoulder armor) jut out from his shoulders, and similar crystalline formations adorn his forearms and boots, emphasizing his elemental nature. His boots and loincloth also appear sculpted with an ice texture, seamlessly blending with his overall frozen appearance.

The character, Glacior, stands as an imposing icy warrior with a powerful, broad build. This figure is unique and highly detailed and the figure actually looks like it is made up of a glacier, a slowly moving mass or river of ice formed by the accumulation and compaction of snow on mountains or near the poles.

His body is primarily sculpted in shades of frosted blue, giving the impression that he is carved from pure ice. In his right hand, Glacior wields a massive ice hammer—its head appearing thick, heavy, and crudely hewn, as if conjured straight from a glacier. His regular hands can also be swapped out, replacing his oversized ice fists.

His eyes have a glow-in-the-dark feature that appear like crystals embedded in his head and glow with an intense, chilling blue light, enhancing his otherworldly, magical feel.
