Hasbro Unveils The Legend of Zelda Heroes of Hyrule Wave 1 + Preorder

Just recently, we covered the news that Hasbro was planning to reveal a Legend of Zelda 6-inch figure line at SDCC 2026, and now, right on the eve of the convention, Hasbro has pulled back the curtain with official images of The Legend of Zelda Heroes of Hyrule Wave 1, giving collectors their first full look at what’s coming. The opening salvo features the three characters you’d expect to lead a Zelda line like this: Link, Princess Zelda, and the Demon King himself, Ganondorf, all inspired by 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each figure is 6-inch scale with 20+ points of articulation, and the accessory choices already tell you Hasbro is paying attention to the source material. Link comes with the Master Sword, a Hylian Shield, an interchangeable Zonai power hand, and a soft cloth cape, which is a nice touch that should add some visual pop on the shelf. Zelda includes the Decayed Master Sword and an interchangeable right hand, while Ganondorf, who clocks in at over 7.5 inches within the 6-inch scale, comes equipped with his Gloom Sword, a scabbard, and an interchangeable right hand of his own. I love how Ganondorf gets that extra height to properly tower over the other two, because scale accuracy matters in a lineup like this and it would have felt wrong to have him standing eye to eye with Link. The figures will be on display at SDCC this week at the Hasbro booth (#3213), so anyone attending will get an in-person look before the Spring 2027 release, and pre-orders go live today, July 22, at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET on Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, and Fan Channel retailers. This is a franchise that collectors have been wanting in this format for a long time, and seeing Hasbro commit to window-box packaging with game-inspired character art and the promise of more figures to come suggests they’re treating this as a full line, not a one-and-done novelty. Can’t wait to see what Wave 2 might bring.

Princess Zelda

The packaging for Princess Zelda uses a deep green box face with concentric circular patterns that nod to the game’s Zonai aesthetic. The interior card behind the window features a soft sky backdrop with clouds, and the Decayed Master Sword and an interchangeable hand sit alongside the figure in the tray.

The box gives a clear view of Princess Zelda’s Tears of the Kingdom outfit through the window, with the green and cream dress featuring detailed Zonai-inspired geometric patterns running down the front panel and triangular trim along the hem. Her gold tiara and pointed ears are clean details even through the plastic, and you can make out the braided cord hanging from her shoulder.

Princess Zelda’s head sculpt has a lot of character, with large teal eyes, a subtle expression, and her pointed Hylian ears framing the golden hair nicely. The Decayed Master Sword is a great inclusion, its blade sculpted with that signature eroded, twisted upper section tapering into the intact crossguard and grip below.

Her dress has a nice weight to it, the teal and cream layers sculpted with flowing pleats at the bottom and a clean drape across the torso. Gold bracelets and strappy sandals complete the look, with small Zonai-style symbols carved into the front panel of the skirt adding another layer of detail.

The braided cord draped across her shoulder has a nice ropelike texture to it, and the small pendant where it meets the neckline is a subtle but welcome sculpted touch. Her strappy sandals have individually sculpted lacing that wraps up around the ankles.

The Decayed Master Sword’s crossguard has a nice winged shape to it, with a small gem sculpted into the center just above the grip. The front panel of her skirt carries a sculpted crest and geometric border that sit slightly raised from the surface, giving them a carved feel against the teal base.

The tiara across Zelda’s forehead has a delicate filigree pattern sculpted into it, and her braided updo has nicely defined individual strands with a woven texture throughout. The interchangeable hand gripping the Decayed Master Sword has clean finger separation, each one wrapping naturally around the twisted blade.

The pleated teal skirt has a nice sculptural rhythm to it, with each fold catching a slight sheen across the surface. Her earring is a small round drop that sits just below the pointed ear tip, a tiny detail that’s easy to miss but adds a lot.

Link

The packaging for Heroes of Hyrule Link follows the same deep green box design with concentric circular patterning, and the window gives a full view of his Tears of the Kingdom outfit, the Champion’s tunic layered under a brown leather harness with crossing chest straps. The Hylian Shield, Master Sword, and interchangeable Zonai power hand are all arranged in the tray alongside the figure, with the cape draped over his shoulders.

The interior card behind the window uses the same soft cloud backdrop as Zelda’s packaging, and Link’s accessories fill the tray nicely, with the Hylian Shield’s Triforce and crest sculpted in raised relief and the Master Sword’s winged crossguard carrying a gem at its center. The interchangeable Zonai power hand has a distinct sculptural look, with swirling patterns carved into its surface.

Link’s Champion’s tunic has a bright blue base with white Sheikah-style geometric patterns printed across the chest and hem, and the brown leather harness crossing over it has sculpted buckle detail at every strap junction. His Zonai power arm is a great sculpt, with segmented plating and a swirling green pattern running from the shoulder down to distinct individual fingers.

Link’s Hylian Shield carries the full crest in raised relief, with the Triforce at the top and the crimson Loftwing spread across the blue field below, all framed by sculpted metallic border segments. The Master Sword has a clean wing-shaped crossguard and a Triforce emblem etched into the blade just above the hilt.

Link’s head sculpt has sharp, clean features, with large blue eyes, a determined expression, and his blond hair swept up and back in that signature windswept style. The brown shoulder pauldron has a Hylian crest stamped into its surface, and the chainmail texture peeking out at the collar and along the tunic’s lower hem adds a nice layered feel to the outfit.

From the back, Link’s brown leather harness has clean strap work with a small buckle where the straps cross between the shoulder blades, and the Hylian Shield sits snugly against his back with its mounting peg recessed into the harness. His cape drapes over one shoulder with a soft, natural fold to it, and the Zonai power arm’s segmented plating wraps all the way around to the back of the forearm.

Ganondorf

The Gloom Sword and scabbard sit alongside him in the tray, with an interchangeable hand tucked near his feet.

The interior card behind Ganondorf’s window uses that same soft cloud backdrop, and the Gloom Sword’s curved blade and wrapped grip are a nice pairing next to the scabbard’s ornate sculpted detail. He dwarfs the tray space compared to Link and Zelda, his broad shoulders and open robe taking up nearly the full window.

Ganondorf’s layered outfit has a lot going on, with the dark open robe featuring sculpted border trim along its edges, a white sash knotted at the waist, and a teal overskirt panel covered in ornate red and orange scroll patterns. His gold jewelry is extensive, from the large ornamental necklace across his chest to the stacked bangles and cuffs running down his exposed arm, and the Gloom Sword’s curved blade and wrapped-grip scabbard make a strong accessory pairing.

Ganondorf’s head sculpt has a fierce, scowling expression with a jeweled ornament set into his forehead and red hair swept back in thick, flowing locks that fall past his shoulders. His open-toed armored boots have gold clasps running up the front, and the teal overskirt panel carries its intricate scrollwork all the way to the bottom hem.

His Gloom Sword scabbard has gold end caps with sculpted filigree, and the white sash wrapping his waist has a wrapped, layered texture where it knots at the front.

The gold necklace draped across Ganondorf’s chest has intricate sculpted links and medallions, with beaded chains hanging down between ornamental clasps that connect to the shoulder. His forehead jewel is framed by gold filigree that wraps around the temples and sits flush against the sculpted hairline, a really clean integration between the jewelry and the hair piece.

The stacked bangles and cuffs on Ganondorf’s arm have individually sculpted segments with a glossy gold finish, each one sitting snugly against the next with clean separation between them. His robe’s dark fabric has faint etched patterns running along the sleeves that are easy to overlook next to all that jewelry, but they add a subtle richness to the garment.

Ganondorf’s open-toed boots have a sculpted segmented construction with gold clasps at the toe joints, and the wrapping around his lower legs has a textured, bound quality where it meets the boot tops. That teal overskirt panel hangs with a natural drape against the lavender trousers, the ornate scrollwork pattern maintaining its detail all the way to the diamond-shaped gold pendant at the lowest corner.
