Hasbro has announced the winnder of the fan vote for the Cobra H.I.S.S. Tactician figure! And the winner was BRAVO!

October 25, 2022 UPDATE: Voting Open for Cobra H.I.S.S. Tactician
Hasbro needs your help to select the color of the Cobra H.I.S.S. Tactician figure!
Here is what Hasbro had to say:
We’re asking YOU to help choose the color-scheme of the Cobra H.I.S.S. Tactician action figure. We’re giving you 6 options to choose from. It’s a tough call and we want YOU to be the judge! One vote per day, per backer. Voting ends Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET. Only backers who backed the project through Hasbro Pulse are eligible to vote. The winning color-scheme will be announced in November 2022. You’ll need to log in using your Hasbro Pulse account to cast your vote. Don’t have an account set up? Create one using the email you used to back the project.
Cobra Commander is also weighing in:
Citizenssss of Earth, it’s been quite some time since we last spoke. Desssstro has been toiling away to mass-produce my fleet of G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra H.I.S.S vehiclessss. I understand he’s even enlisted Zartan and the Fatal Fluffies to incentivize the HasLab team to move a little faster. You should see the lash marks on their backssss.
But you and I have some unfinished business to discuss, my loyal ssssubjects. As you may recall, I promised that if the H.I.S.S. fully funded within the first week of the campaign, everyone backing would receive a sssspecial Early Bird figure – the H.I.S.S. Tactician inspired by the designssss of Ron Rudat. I’m not normally a fan of “voting” or “democracy” per sssse, but. since it is election sssseason, now is your chance to shine by choosing the color scheme of their uniforms.
Between now and October 30th each backer with a Hasbro Pulse account can vote once per day by logging into account they used to back the G.I. Joe Classified Series H.I.S.S. From there, the Siegies will put their accounting skills to good use tallying the results. I’ll unveil the winning design in November.
I must confesssss Cobra has had a bit of a recruitment problem of late, which is strange conssssidering what an equal opportunity employer we are. Our health care package is quite comprehenssssive. It’s amazing to see behind the scenes photos of the painting and process on how the parts fit together. You can see the prototype figure uses any parts that are translucent and solid.

UPDATE:08/15/2022: Last day of Campaign! New Cobra Commander Render Image
As of 2:00pm PST, on the last day of the campaign, there are currently 23,360 Backers! The campaign ends tonight 08/15/2022 11:59pm EST. As a final reveal, the GI Joe team revealed a color render of the supreme leader Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander who will be released on a retro card back! He is very reminiscent of his Sunbow cartoon look and has that Mickey Mouse misprint Cobra logo on his chest! This is a must have for any GI Joe Classified Collector! With 4 incredible unlocks and which includes a bevy of weapons and accessories and 4 exclusive figures, there are only a few more hours left in the campaign, so if you haven’t back it already, what the heck are you waiting for?

UPDATE: 08/11/2022: Last week of Funding & Diorama Shots of Painted HISS Tank
Emily posted amazing diorama shots of the painted HISS Tank that was at SDCC to her Instagram Page. They took incredible images of the HISS tank in an outdoor scene with the Driver, Cobra Officers and Cobra Troopers working on the Tank, servicing it, coming out of the back from an assault attack and some close up detailed shots as well. Funding ends this Monday on 8/15/2022, will Hasbro pull out an surprise unlocks during these last few days? Only time will tell, but we will soon find out!

UPDATE: 7/20/2022: Production Photo Leaked
A photo of the production version of the New Haslab Hiss Tank has leaked out of the 2022 SDCC preview night! The HISS Tank is all decked out with all the Unlock Upgrades attached to it along with the HISS Tank Driver! The details look amazing and it looks like Hasbro is farther along on the HISS Tank then we previously have seen!
UPDATE: 7/11/2022: 16K Backers Achieved and STILL GOING.
We hit our 16K backer goal and now all 4 tiers have been unlocked including the extra special Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander! With over 35 days to go in the campaign, will Hasbro through in some more secret unlock tiers? Only time will tell. But as long as the number of backers keep increasing, you never know what Hasbro has in store for us. In the meantime, let’s take a look at what we have acheived!

Emily confirms that the Retrocardback Cobra Commander will NOT be one of the last two Walmart reveals but she did say that the only way you can get him is through backing the HasLab HISS Tank so if you are a completest, you will have to figure out a way to get him if you have not backed it yet.Emily took to Instagram to address a rumor she’s been hearing about Cobra Commander! Here is what she had to say:
“Hi friends! I’ve been seeing a lot of rumors online surrounding the HISS HasLab, so I thought this could be a fun way to provide some answers for the things that I can talk about 🙂 I’ll keep looking through comments to see if there are other things I can answer too!
So without further ado (which let’s be real, may as well be my catchphrase at this point 😂): Rumor #1: I heard a rumor that Cobra Commander is going to be one of the last two figures for the Walmart Classified retro card back line that haven’t been revealed yet.
And the rumor is… false! He is not one of the last two Walmart figure reveals. The 16k tier CoCo (which we are SO close to unlocking at the time when I am typing this!) will be your first opportunity to get a retro Cobra Commander in classified scale 😍 As a reminder, this figure is exclusive to the HasLab and this version will never be released again.

Hasbro reveled the final unlock that comes with the HasLab HISS Tank and it is none other than Cobra Commander himself! If the HISS Tank reaches 16K backers, we get a chance to own a “Retro Cardback Cobra Commander Action Figure inspired by the rare missssprinted variant of my original 1982 “Real American Hero” figure release.” We also got a special message from CoCo himself:

UPDATE: 7/3/2022 11:30am PST: More Hiss Tank Comparison Photos Emily also posted more comparison photos on her IG page, showing off multiple angles side by side with the Retro Collection HISS 3. We can also get a better look at the front and rear light mechanism plus some of the finer details on the canopy as the light is hitting it just right in the photos. As you can see, this HISS Tank is MASSIVE so make room on your shelf now so be prepared.
UPDATE: 7/3/2022 7:35am PST: Unlock #3 Revealed: This morning the new Cobra HISS Tank Haslab UNLOCK TIER #3 was unveiled and it is an awesome Weapons Accessory Pack and HISS Tank Gunner Action Figure! It includes a HISS Gunner Figure in red and back color scheme which looks to be a female. She includes several accessories, a shovel, a pickaxe, and 2 guns. Then there are 3 gunner accessories for the HISS Tank. One front mounting set of guns and then another set of guns to place on the top at the turret. At the time of this update, there are 12,426 backers! Let’s get to 14,000 so we can unlock this cool extra figure and accessories!
UPDATE: 7/2/2022: 12K Backers Achieved!
The next unlock tier goal has been broken, which means we getting the Retro Pack so we can have the option to display the HISS Tank like the classic 80’s vehicle design! This unlock is a swappable, single-piece canopy with a rear hinge that attaches to the cockpit and two removable retro armor-plating skirts inspired by the original 788 toy to go over the treads.

UPDATE: 7/1/2022: Cobra HISS Tank Driver Digital Render: Thanks to 2dsculpts on IG, we can see a clean digital render of the Cobra HISS Tank Driver. With these images, we can get a great sense of the detail that will be poured into the figure that is coming with the GI Joe Classified Series HasLab HISS Tank. For example, the helmet sculpt looks like it will have a snake design at the crest and some angular detail. The chest armor features the standard metal plate, which will have the cobra logo in the center of it and the shoulder armor design looks very intricate. We expect nothing less from the first GI Joe Classified Series HasLab Hiss Tank so if you are still on the fence, consider backing as, at the time of updating this article, there are 11,314 backers so 12K is right around the corner!
Also today, Emily posted a comparison photo of the HasLab GI Joe Classified Series HISS tank next to the Retro Collection Hiss Tank. As you can see, the HasLab Hiss Tank is ginormous and totally dwarfs the 3 3/4″ scale vehicle. This new GI Joe Classified Series design is a beast and we can’t wait to see more photos as this project moves along!
UPDATE: 6/30/2022 6:30pm PST: UNLOCK TIER #2 has been revealed and at the time of this post, we are at 10,995 Backers. We now get a peek at what awaits us when we hit 12,000 backers, which at this rate might be by the end of the night, or by tomorrow morning. The Second UNLOCK Tier brings us retro style tank tread covers and a retro style clear canopy window. This allows you to display your HISS Tank in two different looks. For our first UNLOCK Tier we get these rad Side Mounted Missile Racks with 6 black missiles with red tips and Cobra Logos on each. They plug into the compartment on the side of HISS Tank, which Lenny pointed out today during the Live Stream.
6/29/2022 4:40pm PST: On the first day in less than 9 hours, the GI Joe Classified Series HasLab HISS Tank officially funded and has reached it’s early bird goal of securing 8,000 backers! This has got to be the fastest ever HasLab to ever fund on the first day in only a matter of hours! The only other Haslab to come close to this was the Marvel Sentinel, which took almost 3 days! While on the surface, paying $299.99 for a 6″ scale HISS Tank might seem like a lot but with all of the bells and whistles it comes with out of the gate, it is easier to hand over the money to Hasbro. We are excited that the Classified Series HISS Tank funded so we can quickly move on to discovering what other unlocks are in store for us! We will be sure to keep you updated as new unlock tiers have been reached, so check back as we will be updating this post through the course of the campaign!

In an unusual move, Hasbro decided to offer an unlock if the HISS Tank funds before July 6, 2022! Here is more information on this unlock:
