Roy Juarez has posted the art for the Masters of the Universe Revelation Horde Apprentice Skeletor! He’s revealed Clamp Champ and Prince Adam this week and now it’s time for the baddies! This Skeletor is no joke, he means all business and has an all you head sculpt to boot! A servant of Hordak at the time, Skeletor rescued Evil-Lyn from an angry mob, enhanced her magic, gave her a place to belong. Not out of any sense of heroism or chivalry, but rather out of a desire to expand his own power.

The illustration of Horde Apprentice Skeletor shows him standing there looking very stern with a mysterious figure’s silhouette behind him, could that be Horde Prime?

The side panel art shows him standing by what it looks like the tree outside the fright zone, as you can kind of make out the cave entrances around him as well.

According to the Wiki Grayskull, “Skeletor’s past was shrouded in mystery, but it was revealed that he had once been a member of the Evil Horde and studied under Hordak, becoming his favorite pupil. When Hordak and the Horde invaded Eternia, Hordak attempted to kidnap the children,of King Randor and Queen Marlena, twins who were infants at the time. And when their attempt went awry, he abandoned Skeletor and left with only the one twin, the Princess Adora. Skeletor who, seeking revenge, and being captured by Man-at-Arms and the palace guard, double-crossed Hordak, giving the location of the Horde’s secret base at Snake Mountain. With Hordak having left Eternia for another world, and taking the infant princess with him. Skeletor set himself up in Snake Mountain and recruited his own army of henchmen, seeking to conquer Eternia and capture Castle Grayskull. Skeletor became the arch-enemy of He-Man and concocted various schemes to eliminate him. Later, he would be reunited with his old mentor, Hordak, and also made an enemy of He-Man’s sister, She-Ra.”
