The GI Joe team has just dropped an exciting update on Instagram that clears up some of the mystery surrounding the Legacy ESU Police Officer Classified Series figure, which many fans expected to see during Yo Joe June 2025 but was curiously left out of the preorder lineup. Flash forward to today, and it looks like the figure is finally gearing up to report for duty! The official GI Joe page confirmed, “YO JOE! We’re excited to share that the Legacy ESU Police Officer will be reporting for duty this fall! Look out for this Classified Series figure arriving at your favorite physical and online retailers in the coming weeks. Don’t miss your chance to add the Legacy ESU Police Officer to your collection.” The Legacy Police Officer is now IN STOCK on Amazon and is ready to ship (while supplies last).

September 8, 2025: Possible Preorder
While Hasbro hasn’t locked in an official preorder date just yet, we’ve been reading the tea leaves and noticed that Entertainment Earth has a GI Joe figure drop slotted for September 18, 2025. The retailer’s “drop zone” section has even included a telltale hint that may line up with the timing of this release. So, while nothing has been formally confirmed, all signs are pointing toward fans being able to secure the Legacy ESU Police Officer later this month.
Legacy Police Officer
Back during Yo Joe June, we saw the digital render reveal of the Legacy Collection’s Police Officer, and now he’s officially made the jump from screen to to full plastic glory! Decked out in a deep navy-blue uniform with crisp, realistic paint details.
He’s fully loaded with gear—riot shield, mask, baton, pistol, rain poncho, police cap, and even a coffee cup for those long patrols.
You also get two distinct head sculpts, giving collectors tons of flexibility for troop building or urban diorama setups.

I love how they can have totally different looks depending on what gear you place on them! The poncho is especially stylish!
