June 11, 2025 Update: Week 2 Figure Reveals Preorders

UPDATE: The Joe Team is postponing this weeks Yo Joe June live stream! Looks like the Joe Team almost kept the reveals under wraps but leaked images of what is going up for preorder have surfaced on socials! expect the Sgt. Slaughter and Mercer Renegades 2-pack, the Retro Card Back GI Joe Trooper and the Retro Card Back BAT to be going up for preorder today! In surprise, as there was no context for this release, was the AWE Striker with Crankcase! We are speculating that the Legacy Police Officer, due to political reasons, was not put up for preorder but we are sure the set will be coming back in the near future.

AWE Striker with Crankcase

This Crankcase figure contains 9 accessory pieces including 2 helmets, visor, knife, binoculars, goggles, bandana mask, scarf, and weapon accessories. Legacy Police Officer

Just last week, we saw the digital render reveal of the Legacy Collection’s Police Officer, and now he’s officially made the jump from screen to to full plastic glory! Decked out in a deep navy-blue uniform with crisp, realistic paint details.

He’s fully loaded with gear—riot shield, mask, baton, pistol, rain poncho, police cap, and even a coffee cup for those long patrols.

You also get two distinct head sculpts, giving collectors tons of flexibility for troop building or urban diorama setups.

Among the digital render reveals, two standout additions were highlighted: the Legacy Collection Police Officer and the SGT Slaughter and Mercer two-pack.

Legacy Collection Police Officer

Slice and Dice 2-Pack

Slice and Dice are making a powerful return as a Hasbro Pulse exclusive two-pack, reimagined with enhanced details and accessories true to their Ninja Force roots. The design team leaned into their signature “dragon style” and “scorpion style” attacks—Dice features dragon motifs, including dragon mouths on his axes, while Slice has scorpion-inspired details, such as a scorpion claw on his sword. Both figures come loaded with gear: Dice includes two axes, swappable heads (including a scorpion-themed troop-builder style), and red accents for customizable ninja combinations. Slice features two hook swords, a removable sai that was originally sculpted into his vintage arm, and added articulation. Accessories include a rice paddy hat that can double as a shield with razor-like edges and a cloth cloak to add a mysterious, shadowy aesthetic.

Budo

Budo is revealed as a deluxe G.I. Joe Classified Series figure that pays homage to his samurai heritage while blending in modern military aesthetics. The figure comes with a fully removable, traditional armored-up look representing his grandfather’s samurai gear, including a vest, grass cloak, girdle armor, and shin guards. He’s equipped with a full set of bladed weapons—a daikatana, katana, and tanto—with sheaths included for dynamic posing. Budo’s modular design encourages storytelling and customization, allowing collectors to recreate or invent their own G.I. Joe adventures. He will be available as a mainline release, offered wherever action figures are sold, with preorders launching at 1 p.m. ET.

These parts can be swapped out for a modern tactical loadout inspired by special forces with a Japanese twist, featuring scaled armor elements and a more muted color palette for a darker, updated tone. The figure also includes a redesigned version of his classic helmet and a highly detailed portrait with facial hair and a removable topknot, evoking a ronin, or wandering samurai.

MMS and Hawk

The MMS and Hawk set was showcased as a standout reveal, highlighting a nostalgic yet updated take on classic G.I. Joe elements. The MMS (Mobile Missile System) has been redesigned in signature G.I. Joe green and is tow-compatible with both the VAMP and the A.W.E. Striker vehicles, adding practicality and display versatility. Cold Slither Update

We an update to the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive set featuring the iconic Dreadnoks as a full-blown rock band, complete with detailed musical instruments and accessories. Zartan stands out in bold yellow pants that glow under black light, while Ripper shreds on a guitar and Torch plays the keyboard. The set includes a realistic matte-finish drum kit with a Cold Slither logo on the bass drum, a hi-hat, snare, cymbals, and even a stool. Buzzer appears decked out in a denim jacket with Cold Slither artwork and removable goggles. The Joe Team emphasized how much fun the set was to develop, acknowledging the influence of B Mac who insisted on making it happen. They praised Comic-Con exclusives as a chance to go weird and wonderful, offering something unique that wouldn’t work in mainstream retail but fits perfectly in a collector-driven space. The figures and accessories are all in 1:12 scale, making them versatile across lines.

June 6/3/2025 Update: Leaked Budo Official Images

Huge thanks to thefullforcepodcast on Instagram for posting these official leaked images of the upcoming GI Joe Classified Series Budo! We can’t wait to see what else leaks out before the event, so we will keep our eyes peeled! Budo was the first digital render reveal of the season. The GI Joe Instagram posted, “⚔️ Samurai Spirit Meets Modern Action ⚔️ The G.I. Joe Classified Series Kyle “Budo” Jesso has arrived! A.W.E. Striker with Crankcase

Teased at New York Comic Con 2024, we thought the AWE Striker would be coming to the Classified Series! Built for speed, terrain, and combat, this off-road beast will be ready to deploy with Crankcase behind the wheel.

From the GI Joe panel at NYCC Comic Con 2024, it appeared that a new vehicle is in the works and it must be a small form factor and we were thinking this could be a tease for the AWE Striker!

Slice and Dice

Slice and Dice were leaked as part of the epic month of GI Joe Classified Series leaks back in November/December 2024! Masters of deception and destruction, this ruthless duo is sharpening their blades to carry out Cobra’s next plot.

Slice and Dice Ninja Force

Get ready to strike with precision and power as the GI Joe Classified Series are going deep into the 1990’s and bringing Ninja Force figures to the line! Thanks to the thefullforcepodcast for posting images by way of Jayy Khan, Slice and Dice are karate chopping their way to the line with these leaked images. This is surprising as they were not name only revealed at the GI Joe panel at NYCC 2024. Whether you’re reliving the 1990s glory days of Ninja Force or discovering these fan-favorites for the first time, the Ninja Force figures stood out for their bold, colorful designs and “action attack” features. These action features set Ninja Force apart from other G.I. Joe figures, which usually had standard articulation. These Slice Dice GI Joe Classified Series figures will beef up the ninja’s in the line for sure!

Slice

Slice comes in his classic red outfit and it appears he comes with 2 head sculpts. Given that these are prototypes, we are assuming his ninja mask will have a silver front. Slice’s design was instantly recognizable as he wore a striking red and black outfit but it looks like we get to see his face, which gives him a sinister, almost menacing look.

Slice was released carded as part of the eleventh series (1992) as part of the Ninja Force. He came with a butterfly knife, a black heavy sword, and a black figure stand. His file card read, “Motto: “I fear no mortal man in face-to-face combat, but my sword cuts easiest from behind!” Captured Cobra documents indicate that SLICE may be a renegade Ninja from STORM SHADOW’S very own clan! It is believed that Slice created his own evil sword technique by observing the battle strategies of scorpions and adapting the movement into a backhand sword-slash that he calls the “Scorpion Slash.” He’s an expert with all edged weapons, small hand guns and explosives, and enjoys working with the Cobra Ninja cohort, named DICE! Slice can usually be found driving the Cobra Parasite when he’s not in his martial arts studio.

Dice

Dice is also part of the Ninja Force and he comes with 2 masks and an additional unmasked head sculpt.

Dice operates as a partner to the Cobra Ninja Swordsman SLICE, specializing in choke holds, pressure points, snares, traps, blunt instruments and eye-gouging. His weapon of choice is the Bo-Staff, which he can manipulate with blinding speed and bone crushing power. His most dreaded technique is a motion he calls the “Flying Dragon.” Dice is most troublesome when he gets behind the wheel of the Cobra Rat.”

Retro Cardback Greeshirt

Thanks to Jay Bee for sending images of the upcoming Retro Cardback GI Joe Classified Green Shirt to the fullforcepodcast on Instagram. Revealed during the GI Joe Classified Series March 2025 Fanstream, the new GI Joe Greenshirt is one of the first army builders we have gotten for the Joe side of the team! The great thing about this new Retro Cardback Green Shirt Trooper is that he comes packed with two alternate heads so you can build an army of different looking Green Shirt Troopers, either dark skin or light skin. So let’s check out these Retro Cardback Green Shirt GI Joe Classified Series Leaked Images!

Here you can see what looks like a finished production sample of the Retro Cardback Green Shirt trooper. He has a classic light green shirt and darker green pants. He comes with brown web gear that have several items attached including a grenade, a couple pouches and a knife sheath. He also comes with two classic GI Joe rifles that have really nice paint apps as well. He comes packing a pistol on his right hip and another knife sheath on his left hip. You can also see the alternate head sculpt below.

Officially revealed by thegreattonino, “Very excited to bring some Joe troops to the line. Swappable head neck and hands along with helmet for the Joe fans to troop build to their hearts content. Too often Cobra gets all the troop building fun.” Comes with swappable heads and hands. A great trooper builder.

SGT. Slaughter & Mercer 2-Pack

The prototype images shows the Sarge in a beret in a uniform with the sleeves cut off. He also comes with his standard head sculpt with his classic hat. His baton and whistle are also shown as we are sure he’ll be coming with more accessories to be revealed (aka leaked) later.

Mercer

Mercer was announced coming with SGT. Slaughter as a Renegades 2-pack during GI Joe Classified Series March 2025 FanStream.

Here comes another early look at Mercer, one of Slaughter’s Renegades coming by the way of Shaw Liú that was posted in the GI Joe Classified Community on Facebook! Up until Toy Fair 2025, the GI Joe leaks were flowing and it seems like they’ve resumed with this latest prototype of the Mercer’s upper torso. The tale tell signs that this figure is Mercer is the holster on the left side of the torso plus the circle directly above it.

Will the figure be Sunbow inspired? All signs are pointing to yes as there is a circle on his left part of his chest that could be reserved for a “no Cobra” logo, as it appeared in the GI Joe animated cartoon.

Taurus and Red Dog 2-Pack

As the GI Joe Classified Series name only reveals have only Sgt. Slaugter and Mercer remaining on the list, we are looking to 2026 as the next Renegade 2-pack has been identified by the Full Force Podcast. In his most recent News Burst, he revealed that the Taurus and Red Dog 2-pack is under the code name GIJ CS JQ Jonny 2-PK – G2051 (F). As this is the first of the figures to be decoded, we will be keeping track of the standard retail and exclusive waves as they unfold.

SGT. Slaughter’s Renegades

The 1987 GI Joe action figure Mercer, from Sgt. Slaughter’s Renegades, was part of a special three-pack with Red Dog and Taurus.

Taurus

His accessories include a brown backpack and a silver pistol with stock.

The figure features a bald head with red eyebrows and a thick red mustache. He wears a yellow shirt with black molded details including a shoulder holster. His pants are olive green with black kneepads and straps. He has a brown belt with a gold buckle, a silver wrap around his right forearm, an orange holster on his right thigh, and black boots.

The Renegades aren’t carried on the rosters of any existing military unit. There is no computer access to their dossiers and they are paid through a special fund earmarked for “Pentagon Pest Control”. This gives the Renegades a freedom of operation that the Joes can’t match. It also means that the government can deny everything if they’re caught.

Taurus was a circus acrobat in Europe who did occasional undercover work for INTERPOL. His circus act involved breaking two-by-fours on his own face, a feat which so impressed the G.I.Joe top brass, he was recruited on the spot. Taurus has been cross-trained in explosive and mountaineering and is fluent in a dozen languages.

“He’s an animal. He stops hockey-pucks with his forehead and opens bottles with his nostrils. Lucky for us, he does everything G.I.Joe HQ tells him!”

Taurus Dog Concept

This 6″ scale custom Taurus, created by YoJoeARAH, is a modern interpretation of the classic G.I. Joe character. The figure features a muscular build with a bald head and a distinct red beard, dressed in a bright yellow sleeveless shirt, green tactical pants with black padded sections, and black combat boots. Accessories include a removable brown backpack with rolled green sleeping back, a machete sheathed on the back, and a large combat knife on the thigh. The figure also features sculpted shoulder armor and detailed utility belts, showcasing the high level of craftsmanship that only YoJoeARAH can bring!

Red Dog

His accessories include a brown backpack and a dark gray .45 caliber pistol.

The figure features a dark brown complexion with black hair and a red headband. He wears a red football-style jersey with a white number “1” on the chest, over molded black web gear. His sleeves are white with sculpted folds, and he has gold wristbands and a necklace. The pants are bright blue with a quilted pattern, tucked into tall black boots. A brown belt with a gold buckle wraps around his waist, and a molded holster with a black pistol is attached to his right thigh.

The Renegades have no official status. Their movements and activities are virtually unrestricted. They don’t get any credit when they succeed and everybody denies knowing anything about them when they fall.

Red Dog could have had a pro football career as a barefoot placekicker if a defensive lineman hadn’t ground his cleats into the big Samoan’s obtruding toe. The lineman ended up with a broken helmet and a concussion. Red Dog was suspended for excessive roughness. He later worked briefly as a stuntman in “B” movies until he was recruited by G.I.Joe Command.

“The other Renegades think that Red Dog is a handy gun to have along on missions. If they encounter an obstacle of any kind; barricade, tank-trap or phalanx of armed guards, they simply point Red Dog in the appropriate direction, let him go, and wait for the dust to settle.”

Red Dog Concept

The talented YoJoeARAH brings us this custom 6-inch scale Red Dog, which is a modernized update of the vintage 1987 figure. The figure accurately mirrors the character’s classic look, including his orange football-style jersey with the number “1” on the front, blue pants, and black boots. He features sculpted accessories like a headband, necklace, and brown belt with a detailed buckle. The backpack and thigh holster further enhance the resemblance, while the articulation and detailing reflect the modern Classified Series look!

In the most recent GI Joe April 2025 digital render reveals, Snake Eyes v4 and Monkeywrench are slotted for a wave that is dropping for preorder on April 15th, 2025 so we can cross those off the list! Here is the latest update, showing Night Viper and Sci-Fi with two other to-be-named figures:

Sci-Fi and Night Viper Coming to GI Joe Classified Series

Stronox Customs has toned down the neon green of the figure, which is a welcome change! His uniform has nods to the vintage figure design with the chest armor and helmet details with the black visor. I love the modernized laser rifle and the backpack with more colors and electronics that could supply the power to his laser rifle!

Intricuded in 1986, Sci-Fi stands out as the first “neon” Joe with a futuristic uniform that feels out of place among the G.I. Joe team. His one-piece jumpsuit and bright design contrast sharply with his peers. However, his redeeming feature is his laser rifle, which is bulky, rugged, and far more believable than previous G.I. Joe weapons. The rifle includes a laser sight and a sizable backpack, suggesting it can generate the power needed for a concentrated beam of light.

Night Viper

Night-Vipers are trained to operate in complete darkness, with equipment designed for stealth, including helmets with night vision, infrared detection, and sound amplifiers. Their suits reduce infrared signatures, making them nearly invisible to radar. While they have the advantage of “see first, eliminate first,” their eyes are highly sensitive to light, making them vulnerable if exposed, though finding them is a challenge. Stronox Customs creates an amazing and highly detailed GI Joe Classified Series concept. If we were to get anything close to this for a figure.

He’s translated the features from the vintage figure we know and love so well, including the night vision monocular, the updated rifle with night scope, and the backpack with small antennae. He even made sure to add his skull patch on his left arm!
