Walmart Collector Con, the mega online retailer’s virtual con, will be coming in October 2024 and will be happening on October 17 & 18, 2024! The preview is also set for October 10, 2024 and we saw some great figures that will be kicking off Day 1 of preorders! October 10, 2024 Update: Walmart Collector Con October 2024 Preview
At 7am, Walmart gave everyone a preview of what is coming for the October 2024 edition of Walmart Collector Con. Like we suspected based on the silhouettes from the teaser image, the 40th Anniversary Transformers G1 Optimus Prime and the Marvel Legends Quick Silver were going up for preview. Some surprises included the Turtles of Grayskull deluxe exclusives Mutated Shredder and King Hiss Foot Soldier plus the Masterverse Vintage Collection Skeletor.
Skeletor Masterverse Vintage Collection
Looks like there is a new sub-line coming to Masterverse dubbed the Vintage Collection. Not much is known aside from seeing the official images of the box front and the figure but could the Masterverse line be going back to Masters of the Universe Classics roots? Huge thanks to yo_tengo_el_poder (and to toyhuntershollow) for the heads up) that images of a Masterverse Vintage Collection Skeletor have surfaced! The Masters of the Universe Classics line was well loved and adored by MOTU collectors and many of them equate some of the Masterverse figures to MOTU Classics so this seems like a natural offshoot for the line. Skeletor comes packed in the Masterverse 2.0 style window display box that has a new gold label above the Masterverse logo dubbed “Vintage Collection.” Looks like there is a new sub-line coming to Masterverse dubbed the Vintage Collection and he is going up for preorder during Walmart Collector Con! He comes with his classic Havoc Staff, Power Sword, and extra hands!
This Vintage Collection Skelly is really going back to his roots with a MOTU Classics’esque figure design and overall look and feel!

Mutated Shredder Turtles of Grayskull Deluxe
Shredder is also going up for preorder! Shredder looks outstanding in his mutated form as they are reusing Lady Slither’s tail once again. The head sculpt features a snake appearance under Shredder’s face armor. The oversized shoulder armor looks like a snake is biting down on his biceps, which gives him a cool look. His snake staff features a bident with a snake wrapping around the upper portion. Shredder was specifically called out as a Walmart exclusive.

King Hiss Foot Soldier Turtles of Grayskull Deluxe
King Hiss is also going up for preorder! King Hiss was another standout in the bunch has he featured not only a cool snake head sculpt, but snakes for hands! The gold and purple tones go really well on the figure and there is some paint washing that bleed the colors together on his upper arms. King Hiss was specifically called out as a Walmart exclusive.
The upper portion of King Hiss comes off and he also comes with a Foot Clan body, which could be a cool way to army build the figure!

40th Anniversary Transformers G1 Optimus Prime

Transformers Bumblebee
The vintage G1 Autobot Bumblebee toy is inspired by the original G1 release stands 5 inches tall! You can clip and save the tech specs included on the pack in the classic G1 style fans know and love to compare figures’ strength, speed, firepower, and more! Inspired by the original G1 collectible action figure packaging and he’s shown off in a nice plastic bubble. Bumblebee is one of the smallest and physically weakest Autobots. While his stature allows him to do his job better than most Autobots could manage, he is self-conscious about his size. Maybe this is why he makes fast friends among the humans. He looks up (so to speak) to the other Autobots, especially Optimus Prime, but what he doesn’t realize is that they look up to him. He may be small, but he’s brave, and he’s one of the most well-liked Autobots around. Bumblebee already has the respect he craves.

Transformers Gears
Gears is anti-social, a self-proclaimed misfit. He finds fault in everything and everyone. He acts this way to help cheer other up as they try to cheer him up. Gears hates Earth, a lush, green planet practically as unlike his cozy, gray, metallic homeworld as possible. He grumbles and complains about being shipwrecked on it—complains and grumbles to a ridiculous extent, until he becomes a source of amusement, rather than negativity. This is usually his intent—unlike his fellow Mini Vehicle Huffer, Gears has a desire to help his fellow Autobots see good in a bad situation. Still, he does get depressed from time to time.

Red Laser Super7 GI Joe Ultimates
Red Laser is joining the GI Joe Ultiamtes line! Red Laser is inspired by the vintage European action figures and features a red uniform with skull and crossbones on the helmet. This evil mastermind from the early days of G.I. Joe will stop at nothing to achieve his nefarious goals.

October 3, 2024: Walmart Collector Con October 2024 Tease
1987 Superman McFarlane
McFarlane is knocking it out of the park with my absolute favorite version of Superman, yes it’s the Christopher Reeve from the 1978 Superman the Movie for the 7″ Multiverse figure Collector Edition! This figure will go up for preorder on select retailers tomorrow 10/17 at select retailers! But Michael being our incredible Toy Habit sleuth, has sniffed out the Walmart link and we also have the official images! Be sure to bookmark this link and come back Thursday morning! We think it will be part of Walmart Collector Con October 2024! Cue music and flying credits!

Here we can see the incredible packaging for this 1978 Superman The Movie figure! I love the rear of the package that features Christopher Reeve himself!
This version of Christopher Reeve looks amazing! They did a spectacular job at the face sculpt! He also comes with a wired cape and multiple alternate hands. One of his hands includes a piece of kriptonite being gripped in the hand! I just love this version of Superman and he came out stunning!
